Well the JG Works RPK arrived, full metal and wood with EBB. It is quite the weapon at nearly 5kg.. I will get some better pictures but this is it for now.

Hi Guys, After mulling over the eye pro, face mask, helmet, hat dilema, I think I did a thing..... I removed all the interior and the straps of the Nuprol FAST helmet, swapped a few screws around so they didn't scratch the DYE lens and put the DYE strap around the back of the helmet, and it all seems to work and stay in place by only using the adjuster on the back of the helmet - no chin strap required. Not committed to cutting off the straps yet. Looks pretty stealthy to me... Pat.

I run 7.62 nato magazines in a few different pouches. Warriors 7.62x51 pouches are good, open top bungee retention style. But my personal favourite is to run an ak open top with kydex insert. They are warrior ak bungee pouches but with the bungee removed.

Having never really done any 'tech' work on my airsoft stuff outside changing barrels, nubs and buckings i've decided my first victim is going to be my Shadow 2 pistol. Sadly all the parts I needed are on JKArmy and will take a couple weeks to arrive.

Sometimes I surprise even myself at how daft I can be - I didn't even think to look under 7.62mm pouches LOL @JimFromHorshamwill have ganda at the classifieds later, or feel free to post a link. Fecking expensive week this - didn't bank on making a complete new loadout. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 £100 on optics, £70 on mags, £530 on the pew pew stick, New slings, new gloves, bipod, gun case. Thank christ SWMBO is not here.

OK so it'll be at least third-hand. Around £200 for the Evo, £15 for High cap, £30 for drum. Not much value for the mock suppressor. Batteries also aren't worth very much, especially as you will struggle to post (although possibly could be exempt if "in equipment"). Say £250 - £275 incl' postage and Paypal fees. While Evo's do tend to hold their value quite well, I'd be concerned that this is likely not the latest model, it's had a few owners and it's developed a fault (could need a new ETU). Nothing stopping you listing for higher and reducing as you feel over time, really depends how quickly you want to sell.

It takes standard nubs and buckings but the unit itself is not a standard m4 hop and there is no aftermarket upgraded chambers. The barrel is also aeg standard if you want to upgrade. Also for the FPS there are 3 settings on the spring guide so you should be able to increase it slightly. Its really easy and only needs one pin at the back of the gearbox to be removed.

Nearly bumped into you then. Looks like they had a successful day all in all because I went in to pick up the boy's M16 after they fixed its mashed gearbox, and see what they could do with my SVU. Bumped into the person that domed me at AWA last week. Anyway, as per my other thread. My wallet hates me right now... Went to onlyairsoft in Stevenage yesterday to get a few items... Bought a case big enough to fit the Striker12, a pistol case for my Webley revolver and some BBs... Well, I am well and truly hooked now. My Cyma m4 has been stood down and a shiny new m4 is here… and yesterday I sold one of my guitars to reinvest in another new toy.. A JG RPK replica. It doesn’t say so on the advert on PB but it looks like it is EBB. I will post a pic when it arrives. Substantially cheaper than most other shops where it was £280…

Back at Zed again last night. Lots of fun as always and new game formats which keeps things fresh. Yeah our team wasn't the winning one but I don't think anyone really cared, we all had fun shooting people in the dark and that's all that matters. Took a doozie of a hit to the forehead, other guy was coming up the escalator so his position meant my cap caught the BB and directed it to just above my eyebrow. Only noticed I was leaking when I got back to the safe zone and got that 'ooh that looks hurty' look from the other players and then a marshal appeared with a first aid kit 😂 Bit of a wipe and with the application of the worlds smallest plaster I was ready to go again. I look like I've popped a massive zit today though. Worth noting that hit taking was on point all night, didn't hear a single grumble from anyone. Also my rental battery went flat and while it was being changed a guy on our team handed my his MP7 and said 'fill yer boots' (or words to that effect) and I have to say that I could certainly be tempted!! Although I'd need a ton of mags 😁 Oh and one more thing ... I finally got my UKARA sorted!!!! There'll be a couple of deliveries next week ☺️
