I was at Overlord on Sunday. Bought a couple of real Surefire M600's for £55 a pop. Also got a RS MP5 torch handguard for £35 quid and found what might be a bit of gold unicorn pooh in the shape of a MP5K handguard with a Magnalite attached. The mount was made by a company 20 miles from Hereford and the torch had some issue Duracells inside. I've never seen a picture of one and it's either probably a trials piece or a one off custom job for a job. I'll post a picture when the forum lets me. Now with a picture.

New browning hi power mk3. Can't wait to use it in game. All ready own the original we browning hipower P35 so this one now completes my British load out along with l85 gbbr. Just like I was issued in my time in the RAF.

The pre cold war pews I've bought recently did't have enough room on my display so a couple of PPSH were sat in a corner looking sad, I bought the M2 Carbine on Sunday and this prompted a wee rejigging of my walls, My'sniper' wall was bigger but with less toys so I swopped them about & here are the results. My other walls will need a tidy soon too as I've sold 3 and got another AR on it's way from Defcon.

Still laughing at his Scar H advert - by the time mine has landed from KICBB (and paid HMRC & parcelfarce their pound of flesh), it'll have costed me less than £300 new for the V3, rather than the now defunct V2 he is selling. Even if I went and added absolutely everything to it that he's listed (which I wouldn't as the big ticket hop/barrel combo is trash), it still comes in at less than he's asking.

This is my set-up, I have added pouches into both Molle sections, but as I don't tend to use the utility pouches on the outside for anything heavy or large it doesn't get too weighed down. I also find that a well set up chest-rig spreads the weight a bit better.

Spent my Sunday in the protected valley of the Dragon Lair. All in a decent site with a couple of limitations, the team are friendly and welcoming, safe zone is well covered and they are still improving the site to create more game play spaces. It's even easy to get to if you ignore the £25 in public transport and cab fees....for the day, which I don't mind (too much). The no bang grenade sucks but they do have a toxic gas rule to aid the balance of that, and they are on hotel grounds, so I get it. Speaking of the hotel- they serve lunch, a good size pizza and garlic chips for the boy and I to share, bargain really. The games themselves were mostly well thought out, and the medic rules they used for some of the games worked really well. I did try flanking on the left valley edge aiming for the plane with a small group to recover the gold. However we got held up by a couple of really determined and very well placed lads kept halting our advance. There are a couple of choke points that fuel to shape and size of site are tough to break but all together good fun. I will be back

Because i'm actually shit at airsofting i've decided to go with quantity over quality, and ordered an A&K M249 and an extra box mag for it.

Just picked up this M2 from Miêu Anh-Nguyễn , will go nicely with my pre-cold war collection. p.s. I'll add the pics once the webbie is fixed.

Thank for this. 2J is a max. I'm keen to find out what one of these can do. If I can get the downrange energy I need under 2J I'll be happy. The GM mods are probably sensible anyway since TM mags are impossible to find at the moment. The MTR-16 arrived today so I'll be running it stock to begin with and see what I need to do. I'll probably start with the semi only mod and take it from there. 4J would put me firmly into Section 5 status which I'd prefer to avoid. That would definitely do the job though.

I'd have a look at the hop rubber too, and probably replace it , also check the O ring on the back of the piston.

Chaps! I’m back! Well kinda 😂 Took a long break from Airsoft but figured I’d dust off the MWS first. Last time I used it was about 2.5 yrs ago maybe longer! After Nurpol gate I mothballed the MWS 🙈. Madness I know…. So, i guess I’ll just need to clean and lube her up in the usual places right? Answers on a postcard! 😂

That's the key really - try out a few different options and see what works for you. Holster, secondary magazines, trauma kit and dump pouch is the extent of what I did have on my belt.

im not sure if this has been posted elsewhere on the forum, but i thought i would add it here. i was at RIFT airsofts "shift your rifts" event yesterday (not playing, but visiting the car boot and trade stands). while i was there i met and got talking to Mike from pewhubTV. during the course of our conversation he revealed that there are a couple of games being organised in ollies memory, with all profits from the days being donated to charity. i mentioned to him about this thread, and the love the community has for ollie. as mike mentioned that he isnt on this forum, i said that i would share the game dates and locations (with his blessing) to help spread the word. the first game is on Saturday 7th June at Spartan airsoft in Bristol, the second will be at C3 tactical in Monmouth on 13th July. both can be booked via the respective booking sites. mike also informed me that if you contact him through pewhub or the "airsoft says fk cancer" FB page and ask for it, he will provide a link so people can also book on for saturday 12th July to arrive at C3 and camp overnight for a pre-game social. mike has said the social is open to everyone, and if anyone books on, the link is free to be posted for all to see. i have not yet messaged to ask for the link, as i need to get holiday approval from my boss to have the time off for the event at C3, but i fully intend on going, and i hope to meet several of you there

I may've bought a few things lately.. Some highly exciting maintenance stuff and some gas. A couple of nozzles for my unreliable VFC MP5K. Another ASG MP5 claw mount and a beautifully made UTG riser. Vector optics Veyron scope for my 416. Small angled vertical foregrip for my 416. I really want to hate vertical foregrips because they look awful, but they're annoyingly comfortable to use. A Vector Optics Paragon 4x prism sight for my 553. And finally, an E&C 416c with the sexiest handguard you can get for an AR; the Geissele SMR. Not sure if i'll keep it yet, i only want the handguard to go on another build. The stock is among the worst designed and most uncomfortable ones ever made.
