Help- can you identify these airsoft trip mines

So to answer some of the questions raised, -rest I know that the one on the left is a dynatex scaremonger - I have owned that for years and know exactly how it works. For the benefit of @Tommikkaand his helpful images, they both take 9mm blanks placed in the screw in top (vented section) the left one is set by pulling the plunger outwards and pushing in on the central pin that passes through the plunger to lock the firing pin in the primed position (which has the effect of priming a spring loaded firing pin) the central rod going through the plunger can be very easily pulled out and this action releases the firing pin to fire the blank. fishing line (normally) is then tied to both half’s via the rings, and secured to a fixed point with the line crossing a trail or doorway, contact with the line pulls the in and bang ‼️ grenade kills for all those with whatever blast range your site sets (10m in my case) it’s the one on the right I am interested in identifying, it appears to work on the same principle, but I cannot see how to prime it, if I can identify it I can find out if parts are missing or broken off, such as the plunger shaped priming device. For those asking for different angles there is nothing else to see, it’s a plain blue metallic cylinder- unlike the dynatec scaremonger it does not have a central safety pin hole, it has an almost identical spring loaded firing pin, which I can press down on, but there is no way to lock it in the primed position. any help to identity it is great, PS I’ve searched bird scarers, security trip wires, and many other terms, involving blank firing devices lol, lots of similar things but nothing the same The one on the left is a scaremonger, the one on the right isn’t, it’s the right one I’m interested in2 points -

I didn’t realise MW had stopped stocking meals in store. I do pick up packs in the high street if there is a sale ie. Every other week at Millets. Much prefer the wet meals over freeze dried so they can be eaten cold. But I usually have some of the latter in the tactical bumbag as they are so light. I’ve heard Firemaple do a decent Jetboil clone but haven’t tried them as I have the original and a zip. I usually have Firedragon blocks on me as they are pretty stable. And they make a nice aperitif to crayons if doing milsim! I forgot it’s a picture thread so….2 points -
Was up for $399 before it was removed and pre-orders cancelled. Rumours are going around that it will be available to Pre-order in November, as Krytac's showcase is around that time, and being held at Evike.1 point

It is the case that I have asked to return an item as is my right if I notify the seller within 14 days of receipt which I did. The item is still sealed in its packaging as when it arrived. Once notified within 14 days you have another 14 days to return an item. He denies I told him, which is a lie as I left him a message on his mobile after ringing several times and getting no answer. It’s a lot of nonsense for an item costing £30. I can’t understand why he would have an unrecognised address on his Facebook, and the same when googled, and no address or terms & conditions on his website.1 point -
The pressure required to “detonate” the dyntatec one (left) is very low, no more than a few pounds of pressure, and less than a centimetre of movement in the release pin to pull it out. the other is on the same principal - spring loaded firing pin, it must be missing parts to set - which is why I need to identify it, lol 😂1 point

That's not too bad I guess. I may come along to another Friday then and give it a try. I'll try and remember to give you shout next time I go, see if you're there.1 point

I think we started with about approx 16-20 people last night. By 2000 a few guys packed up and left so we were down to 12 which was fine. We had a quick TDM after the break and moved onto best-of-five main street. It was about 2130 everyone was packing up to go. Fridays are usually much busier and less people leave mid-way because most people don't have work the next day.1 point

Sometimes when my shift rota allows. Recently it's been the Wednesday or Friday nights. I've only been to one or two Sunday sessions. I worded it poorly, let me try again. I walk to a doorway and I know there's another player to my right hugging the wall on the outside of the building. He's on my right at a 90 degree angle from me. With the AEG I built, it's so long I cannot have it shouldered and aimed forward and move through the doorway at the same time while aiming at the player, even when putting the stock over my shoulder (or under my arm) to reduce the length. I have to change to a high or low ready which takes the gun off target. With the MP9 I can keep it aimed forward and move through the doorway already aiming where the player is. Basically rifle too long, wont fit through doorway while horizontal. MP9 short, fits fine. It would appear that cannonfodders impressive artistic interpretation has got it covered.1 point

It's a Dynatex Scaremonger Blank Firing Trip Mine according to google, they come in .209, 9mm and 12g flavours. Unfortunately I can't find much more than that. If you get it working please let us know what they're like as I'm always interested in stuff that goes boom1 point -

The AEG I built using the Mk18 style handguard uses the 12" handguard because I couldn't get the 10" (or 7") version at the time for love nor money so I had to use a 12". With it, I can't lean through a doorway and aim at a 90 degree angle where with the MP9 I can. Like I said sub-guns are definitely looking like the best way forward for indoors play. It doesn't bother me that much as the AEG is unbelievably good when I use it outdoors so I don't plan on changing it. It's tight but not so much that you'd notice at first, but the doorways feel slightly thinner than they should be but without measuring it, I couldn't say They've rethought that 'no grenades' rule on main street because it just turns into a grind fest of two people constantly tagging each other back in behind cover with no way to clear them out.1 point

Another quality session at District 23. Went to try out my L85A2 to find that my Sotac EXPS3 wouldn't adjust low enough for the BBs to actually land within the reticule. While trying to adjust it, it seems I turned the adjustment screw way past where it should have went and broke something and it's stuck all the way down. I didn't feel any resistance or a stop... it's like it just unscrewed from whatever adjusts the reticule. Didn't want to risk it with my HW S1. That was annoying. The issue with the height over bore being so big is that i'm literally not looking at the target when firing. To make things worse, because G&G are special, they made their version of the L85A2 outer barrel unthreaded so I can't fit a tracer to just walk my BBs onto the target and I have to use the optic. I have a smaller, and slightly lower, RMR styled 20mm RIS red dot that i'll try next time but in the mean time if any L85 owners have any suggestions, i'm all ears. Once I realised the L85 wasn't going to be an option I changed out to my MP9 as I had such fun with it last time and this time was no different. Quality bit of kit, I think i'll be using sub-guns at indoors sites from now on as it's just so much easier to move through the tighter spaces. Trying to move around doorways with my Mk18 with the 12" handguard is a pain. Many grenades were thrown during a game of 'main street' and the enemy team apparently had some cases of brown trousers.1 point

Dog in the gamezone?
Badgerlicious reacted to Cannonfodder for a topic
It's fucking stupid of the marshal to do it and the site owner to even allow it. We play knowing we're going to get shot and staff understand the risks when entering the field, but the dog doesn't. Simply put the owner is a massive cockwomble (to put it mildly)and shouldn't be allowed to own pets. There's also the fact that if the worst does happen and the dog gets hit, nobody knows how it will react. It could easily think it's being attacked and go for a player who might not even be the person who fired the shot. Quite simply it shouldn't be happening and I for one would avoid any site which does allow it1 point -

Anyone use or know of a company called Jaeger Precision from Cannock. Been trying to send something back to them and they are very unhelpful and the address on the website is not enough for Royal Mail to be able to deliver to them apparently. Have asked them by email for the proper address but they don’t or won’t answer. Strange.0 points
