Strike Industries TM MWS completed(?) Might experiment with a small red dot or something, but I can't see it changing much more than that. Started in March last year! Time flies. Love how it turned out. To match, also built a Strike Industries TM G17 (decided to not go with the EMG/G&P prebuilt one in the end). Waiting on a nicer red dot to arrive, but God knows when that will be. Make quite a nice pair!2 points

Think I've said before that Camouflage Bournemouth has now become my preferred local site. I agree that paintball sites don't generally make for the best airsoft fields, but the terrain is decent here, with plenty of hills, thick but not impenetrable foliage and some decent structures. The site is generally really well run too. @Speedbird_666 and @Shamal shout if you're planning a trip there and, depending on C-Diddy Jnr's football schedule, we'd definitely be up for a meet1 point

Well - you look at and work on enough guns - you learn what's good and what's not I suppose. I recently signed up for his Patreon - his long-form videos on there have been really useful and entertaining. Even if he moans a lot.1 point -
Bought some custom made pouches from Baribal in Polen land: Two of these to go over the mag pouches on my belt kit - Primarily to hold navigation stuff and multitool + bits; One of this to turn my 9 litres Tasmanian Tiger Essential Pack into a sort of this for games up to 8 hours long (I'll be using my Direct Action Dust for longer games); A 40mm velcro inner belt (hook) to be used with my FRV Shooter's Belt and Templar's Gear belt kit; A Dump Pouch; Everything in Ranger Green and 500D Cordura. € 140 for everything (including PP surcharge and shipping from Polen). Next is another golden carbon fibre barrel (for my 933) and a 36k Warhead Black still for the 933 (with possibly a 16:1 gear set to keep the RPS down to 20/22 on a 7.4v)1 point

Selling my TM Glock 18C project TLDR: I've had nothing but issues trying to get this to work - from the gun not actually cycling and getting stuck on the sear to present day where it doesn't lock back but can cycle (at least 6 shots ). As mentioned, it works however it doesn't function at all and fails to reset the trigger after a few shots, I've lost all ambition trying to get it to work - also managed to keep losing the chuffin' selector spring and nub so you'd probably need to replace that or make a new one. There's quite a few parts in this hence the high markup despite this gun being a boneyard (spent roughly 700-800, can't remember exact figure), things included in this sale: Guarder New Generation Frame Rail Mount Maple Leaf Crazy Jet Aerodynamic Inner barrel and hop with autobot bucking (70 degree) AIP modify extended slide stop Guarder Steel Slide Lock Guarder Steel Selector Guarder Light Weight Nozzle Housing (doesnt work so excluded from price) Guarder Steel Rear chassis GunsModify aluminium adjustable trigger Guarder Enhanced recoil spring guide Guarder Steel Threaded Outer Barrel (modified to reduce friction which turned out to not be the problem - reduced price) CowCow SS autosear CowCow SS hammer set GunsModify Nozzle set PGC Aluminium slide and threaded barrel. MK23 hard case (ships with for free) Standard magazine that came with the gun as well as 2 mags that have a different baseplate design (most likely newer versions) - all gas tight All original parts that I've managed to keep (unsure if I've thrown stuff away) Asking for 200 (shipping included) - price can be negotiated such as discount for pickup, just want to get this thing out of my sight without a complete loss.£200

Yup, decent retailer, bought my T-11 from them along with a few bits and bobs. Postage to me isn't overly expensive (€12 via GLS) but you might incur in import fees.1 point -

Back up for sale as the previous buyer backed out. VFC416 Gen 2 GBBR Currently firing Sub 1j on .25s The bolt carrier group is brand new and has an npas inside for you to tune your FPS Comes with 2 mags, tho one was previously leaking at the valve, but I have since doused it with silicon oil and tightened it and it has been gas tight ever since. Stock butt plate bottom tab has broken which is why it is taped up. Gun shoots and fires as it should, usual scratches from attachments and use etc. Bought it 2nd hand, but never got to use it as I prefer using my MWS. If you require more pictures and videos, please DM me. Looking for £350 + shipping£350

A Maple Leaf and omega nub does a very decent job, through a clean barrel. Other opinions are available, but bear in mind that it's airsoft, and there's a certain amount of magical thinking about the best shots, not the typical ones that miss due to wind, leaves or eddies in the space-time continuum. There's only so much consistency possible when slinging tiny bits of plastic in the real world.1 point

Wherabouts are you? I see you're considering Reforger, I have playted there a couple of times, it's not bad. If it's not much further from you I can highly recommend Red Alert Airsoft Newbury. Speaking of..... Back to Red Alert yesterday, for a day of silly easter games. Escort the bunny, build a bomb out of easter eggs, Buggernaught, etc... Loads of fun. The weather was excellent, lunch was good as always, and I don't think I heard a single grumble about hit taking all day. My back gave up again, so didn't play much in the afternoon, and my QRF seems to have developed a piston leak I'll need to take a look at. But overall a bloody ace day of stupidity. Added to this, we finally got the custom patches for our... well, it's not a team, just a collective of idiots who play together sometimes, The Outcasts. The Scottish division of Outcasts came down from Glasgow for the weekend and had a blast at Red Alert. James particularly enjoyed handling my Pulse Rifle (Ooer). As you can see by my headgear, the Outcasts take Airsoft super seriously. @GAMBLE @Gloombones1 point -

I was at Gunman Tuddenham on Sat for the night game. All in all, a good evening. Start time keeps on slipping later and later from the aimed 7pm which is bit annoying but hey. Lots of friendly fire but typical of a night game. I just wish people would use the call and response properly. Yes, if you don't reply, I will assume you are NATO scum and shoot you. Sneaking through the village and trenches is a hell of a lot of fun.1 point -

I brought an LCT AS VAL second hand years back for an incredibly good price (£200 with 10 mid caps), however It has been sat on my gun wall for awhile and needed some TLC. After LCT and TWI announced they were going to release external parts for the gun, I decided I was going to give this gun the TLC it deserves. My LCT AS VAL Modernization project is finally complete.1 point -
The body fits pretty well, I've had to take a little bit off it in certain places where it was very tight, still making adjustments to that but the first proper mock up looks decent. The round counter sets to 95 when the mag is in as it should. Small micro swith and circuit board fits into the top of the mag well. I've yet to solder up the sensor that should count it down as rounds are fired. This fits into the front of the outer garrel inside the triangular support. I've now added the stock to the mock up and that works fine (although it wont retract fully because of the angle ally on the upper) The gun cycles but sticks on the mag occasionally, this doesn't seem to happen outside of the body so when it's apart again I need to see if something is affecting the mag position slightly. It's very much a work in progress with lots of things to solve along the way and going to be a longish project but I think the cool factor when it's done will be worth it.1 point

Turns out it is indeed a CO2 powered, plastic slided KSC MK23 and it looks to be a big pile of meh which is a shame.0 points
