  6. Kit looks good, although I am surprised that 13 posts in, nobody has yet commented on the lack of pens. "I won't argue that it wasn't a no-holds-barred adrenaline-fuelled thrill-ride, but there's no way that you could perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork."

    Marui T-1 Style Red Dot

https://www.wgcshop.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/tm-rd-mtd I always found the pro sight interesting in terms of being the only red dot I know in existence that's designed to be resilient to bbs right out of the box. This isn't apparently but comes with the protector you need in the package which is the main thing. Very much the standard type style/design for Holosuns and Sig optics these days so doesn't scream airsoft aesthetically. Presumably good to go on rattle-y guns like the MWS given the price - that's what I'd expect from a TM production anyway. Whether it uses standardised T-1 mounting holes so that you can use 1000 different mount options remains to be seen.

  8. bit of a work in progress. Fitting LED's and laser to the TM Curve pistol. LED's work but the laser is giving me grief. Need to redesign the push button as the grey one on there now was just to get things working.

Dude, where’s your Christmas spirit? At least include a functional charging handle, correct mag release, correct ergo 2 grip, mod the buffer tube and buy a cc style lock ring from LCS for that sort of money. You could even get a dummy ambi selector and the other bits printed to make this a complete build. Just saying.

  10. My son's Specna is in bits at the moment (don't leave it anywhere humid like I did - a week near a tumble drier has destroyed the previously mint paintwork with nasty white surface corrosion) otherwise I would check. From what I can remember - EPMs worked fine, MAG/King Arms style plastic Mid caps were fine. Can't remember whether my KWA MS120s work (they are better value than EPMs IMO for similar performance). Lonex flash mags worked fine. I think ICS Plastic (T-Mag) Hi-Caps worked ok too. YMMV though - mine is an early batch version circa 2018 (that was fucked with QA issues) - there might have been changes in production over the years

  12. My missus and the kids got me a nice m600 clone for my Krytac SPR-II 😃Haven’t mounted the tape switch yet - going to have a play with some inverted rail covers. Just need a DBAL clone now 🤔

  13. Bloody hell! This is better than Eastenders! What did you do to merit being kicked out at 2AM? Going back in and lifting some of her stuff is a bad idea; it is theft and could seriously worsen your situation. Keep the right on your side.

  14. Sure, although that's a lot to drop on a plastic CYMA. I have a CM5xx, it's solid internally, but given the toytown plastics, I wouldn't spent much on it. It's more of a great starter/backup gun, or for trying out things like the grub screw method. The easiest and cheapest way to get an easier trigger pull is this... No, bear with me: middle finger trigger pull used to be taught by the FBI and police academies for "point shooting" with revolvers. There are solid arguments against it in real steel - weak grip, harder to maintain trigger discipline - which don't apply to airsoft AEGs. I'm a natural airsoft middle fingerer, and would recommend giving it a try.

  15. Hi Guys. Great advice and I get it all now after knowing what to look for. I like the sound of drilling and tapping the gear box under and behind the trigger and reducing the pre-engagement as a cheap fix, but I know get the whole mosfet thing as well (never fully understood it before). So a cheap ish mosfet like a Gate Astor and an adjustable trigger like a MAXX cnc one would give me a hair trigger and ability to use a better battery and make the gun last longer if not abused. So for less than £100, I ignited be able to do this, and if the rest of the gun gives up (it’s a £100 CYMA after all), I’d still have the mosfet and trigger to fit to a new gun. Sound ok? Cheers, Pat.

  17. Following on from Hamster that rifles bound to have a completely mechanical trigger, so this sort of setup... https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/trigger-switches/ec-trigger-switch-v2-rear-wired ... and getting a very short trigger pull will be challenging with the mechanical contacts. It's easy to say if you have the money and the skills, but swapping my son's G&G Firehawk to a GATE Titan and Maxx Model trigger massively improved the gun, and the trigger pull now is very short (by adjusting the trigger and the Titan's settings). As I said though it's not cheap, and comes quite close to say the cost of a brand new Double Eagle M900 that already has an optical controller and some trigger sensitivity adjustment.

  18. the typical trigger pull bodge on a v2 box is to tap a hole in the gearbox casing behind the trigger and put a grub screw in. essentially lets you adjust the trigger as if it's being pre-pulled. however there are 2 downsides; -first is the safety, which you can either be patient and file down, or be impatient and remove. personally i don't see much problem given making an airsoft pew "safe" involves pulling the mag and clearing the chamber, and if you're in-game you're gonna be on fire anyway. -second is the trigger mech, the above method works really well when there's an internal mosfet or contact that means you can adjust the trigger to literal hair-width levels of pull, but with a mechanical trigger unit you're only gonna be able to go so far back before the trolley won't reset properly.

    THE TM MWS thread

Picked my first MWS up on Monday - managed to source the g&p full stock and front end from a lovely chap on here. Had an absolutely brilliant time rebuilding the front end & threw in a maple leaf 60d rubber & an omega nub for now. luckily for me I must have put everything back together okay as it still cycled, fed & shot a smidge over 1j on some freezing cold Ultrair with .28 devil blasters. id like to get a fixed carry handle upper at some point and run an a1/2 hand guard but I’m more than happy with it for now.

Can I ask please, what is the main material that the frame and slide are constructed from? i.e Metal, plastic (polymer), wood, recycled human biological waste from a hospitals' liposuction clinic's bio waste bag? (God please don't say the last one! 😫)
