I will be full larping this time round as a member of the Sovereign team. The Territory part 6 - The Fight For New Acropolis It is the year 2028. The Territory’s across the former United Kingdom have survived new waves of Covid, enforced vaccination protocols from corporations who have acquired land en masse and all European and International antagonists have either been exiled or indoctrinated in their respective captures culture. Fuel crises are all but non existent as the transition from fossil fuel to electrification progresses throughout the Territory’s however the Cornish Lithium Mines are now of major international interest and pressure beckons on the mines and the local citizens to make hard decisions before choice is no longer an option. Whilst the Northern Hemisphere focuses on the logistic benefits of trading with Cornwall for its Lithium, the local Cornish territory’s that both advocate or protest against the mining developments face an even bigger challenge. The increased mining and ever present Radon radiation, synonymous with Cornwall has both positive and negative effects. Soil deposits tested after crops have been harvested detected immensely higher degrees of nutritional value. It is speculated that there has been a genetic mutation between Radon radiated areas and lithium seeping into the water which has created what the locals call, “The New Acropolis”. TNA for short, the food substance byproduct is considered a highly effective antidepressant, an anticarcinogenic when mixed with CBD and according to independent research, has the highest nutritional density then any food substance in the U.K. Scientific findings and rumours of TNA’s health and recreational properties have leaked out to neighbouring Territory’s and interested corporate parties. In addition, this AONB, whilst free from government control and running under separatist jurisdiction, still has one last bastion of the former United Kingdom and Great Britain. The Duchy Of Cornwall…… Prince Charles and his immediate heirs. Who will fight to protect resources for the few? Who will fight to ensure resources reach the many? Who will fight for King and a lost country? Who will fight for the sovereignty of the Territory’s? Team Backstory and Weapons. Team Cornwall. The original landowners, creators and cultivators of the TNA crop. Team Cornwall hold the initial high hand in determining the fate of their region and the rest of the former U.K. They know the terrain, the shortcuts around the area and how to fight across the Territory. The vulnerabilities in this team are bribery, corruption, greed, coupled with defensive pride and ostracisation of non-locals. Without the successful retention of TNA manufacturing materials and crops, Team Cornwall will have little to barter or bargain with. In fighting with this team may lead to betrayal, mutiny and allegiances to some of the Team Outsider, Team Corporate and Team Sovereign members. Armed with bolt action rifles, semi automatic DMR high powered rifles and shotguns, allegiances with criminal elements of the Outsiders, Corporates and/or Sovereigns may facilitate the acquisition of military grade, fully automatic weapons. Due to mining and quarrying locations in the immediate area, it is foreseeable a quantity of explosives may be used for booby traps and assaults. —————————————————————————— Team Outsider Mixed with occupants, visitors and infiltrators to The New Acropolis, some will be trusted, some will neutral and some will almost certainly conceal ulterior and possibly, criminal motives. They will be able barter and bond with Team Cornwall and almost certainly elevate the capability and capacity to maintain control of the Territory. The vulnerability of this team will be its ambiguous nature of not having clear allegiances to any side but it’s own. In fighting may occur and connections to Team Corporate, Team Eco and Team Patriate may be exposed and even manipulated. Armed with single shot small arms PDW’s, assault rifles and competition style marksmen rifles, it is likely that a criminal element may also be in possession of weapons converted to fully automatic capability. Whilst having no immediate possession of high explosives, it is believed that manufacturing capabilities will be acquired to provide additional force to subdue areas of interest and achieve objectives if necessary. —————————————————————————— Team Corporate A combination of effective negotiation skills and refined and proven hostile acquisition techniques mean that Team Corporate are able to manipulate and/or escalate a situation to achieve its ultimate goal which is to acquire all potential commercial assets and recruit key personnel into its organisation. The vulnerability of this team is that it is a mobile force with limited resources in terms of ammunition and logistics. Resupply and reorganisation in terms of resources and manpower will need to take place on the outskirts of this Territory. This team will armed with state of the art Western weapons systems and technology, some of which are not yet available to any known armed forces unit. —————————————————————————— Team EcoTerror This team are likely to be manic, sporadic, chaotic and disruptive. It will seem like there is no motive but to be a nuisance at best and danger at worst. Seeing everyone as the enemy of the land and earth, the aggressive nature of this team to inflict its moral high ground could be the bane of any logical outcome or negotiations. The main vulnerability is likely to be there being little to no advantage to form and alliance as its main objective is disrupt commercial distribution of TNA but to steal and redistribute the crop throughout its network. It is not likely, but not impossible for this team to acquire and maintain a base to conduct operations from. Typically armed with black market weapons purchased from organised criminal gangs, a full range of weapons, minus professional accessories such as scopes, IR and mounted torches are likely to be in circulation. Home made explosives are also likely to in circulation but not launched as a projectile weapon. —————————————————————————— Team Patriate Since the inception of the Territory act, the central government of London had dispatched its forces to areas of concern. At the new acropolis, there are multiple threats and opportunities that can be simultaneously handled through negotiation of force. The vulnerabilities of this team are its potential inability to win over the other 5 elements of the game and will be forced into continuous engagement or hostile negotiations. Some allegiance to Team Sovereign as the line between King and Country are blurred if or when facing off against Team Sovereign. This team will possess state of the art firepower but in limited supply and will need to operate an FOB on the border of the New Acropolis —————————————————————————— Team Sovereign This team is last remnants of the monarchy’s old order, swearing allegiances to The Former Prince Charles, now recognised only as the unofficial King of Old Britannia but still, the Duchy of Cornwall. Funded, paid and valued by Charles, there’s growing belief that holding the purse strings to the crops on TNA could reinstate a national leader figure to challenge Londonium and its protectors and vested interests. The vulnerabilities with this team are a lack of trust of anyone other than the Cornwall locals, and even then, that allegiance may be questioned when money and wealth are used as tools for bribery and corruption. They may need to convince members of Team Patriate to form an allegiance by organising a coup against central Londonium. It is highly likely Team Sovereign will have a heavily supplied and fortified location on Territory which will have state of the art firepower and military grade munitions and explosives. —————————————————————————— Load outs!!!!!! Go for 120 round mags. I run a NGRS SCAR H, (90 rounds mags) which I have thought about switching the magazines to 30 rounds. But….. Your in a woodland, terrain gets in the way of “that shot” Rentals with hi cap mags spraying around! Even with six mags only with 90 rounds, I very infrequently go though three mags. You will come across a game when you will run 30 rounds and think, “If only I had more bb’s in that mag, would of got that person/objective”. Each to their own.

I'm in the middle of doing this exact thing, I've picked up an SRC polymer body, I'm going for CF Stock and outer barrel, I'm in the middle of piecing it together but the predicted weight I'm going for is just over 1kg. V2 gearbox's are extremely universal, I'm putting a Cyma one in my SRC body

Done MTP because I had a fair amount of it sitting around, not a fan though. I’m a fan of woodland DPM and M81, but find they’re a bit too dark for British forests etc - apart for sometimes in the winter. However after the other weekend at Reforger it looks like we’ll be picking Flecktarn tops for the team camo.

Unless you are going for a specific loadout “look” why not have a look at chest rigs? Considerably more adjustable and just as practical, with the plus of being breathable too (if you boil in one like I do)

Nozzle sticking in the hop unit or really sluggish ? Is the the bolt travel back and forth quicker than the nozzle can ping back with it , Strip the bolt carrier group and make sure everything is well greased and check the nozzle return spring would be my first port of call .

Have been working on the pulse rifle , had some extra base plates 3D’ed for the spare mags , made a better sling for it , fitted sling mounts , got a PEQ for it(thanks to the awesome @Stratton Oakmont) and did a wee bit of ‘weathering’ as well , had wanted to send it to @GearTechto have a pukka job done but monies just too tight at the mo so had a bash me self !

Only £5 less than a brand new one full price or £30-40 more than from the retailers abroad what a bargain! I know the warranties on airsoft guns aren't worth anything but are we really at the point of paying more to not have them? Also these are currently 120 at patrol base, mental.
