I don't understand this obsession people have with camo MUST match. If anything it distorts peoples view of you in the field. Bloody tackle tarts😜😗3 points

I found a use for my stock... I put together a prop 80's style Remington Wingmaster for my brother using a Maruzen shell ejector base. Shotguns are awesome.2 points

Finally got my KSG after wanting one for 7 years. i followed the KSG since its inception and recently found that a bb gun version existed. so aside from the broken CA AUG A1 these are my higher tier Airsoft guns right now. The others are cheap bb guns2 points -

Who’s all excited and watching the footy ? Personally I’d rather scratch my arse with a cheese grater then sit in a bucket of freshly squeezed lemon juice whilst pouring a bottle of shampoo in to my eyes .2 points -
Looks like gunfire are now shooting blanks ! 🤦♂️2 points

Think his confusion stems from him being an illiterate buffoon and NOT his displeasure at mixed camo 😉2 points

It is weird. I mean, they did initiate communication about the order, albeit belatedly, but have now gone into total stealth mode apart from automated acknowledgements - so yes, they are receiving the emails, to the address that they asked me to send them to. Not even responding to contact via PayPal is bizarre though, as it's a shoe in for them to lose the case and ultimately, if they lose enough, to be charged higher fees or even lose the ability to take PayPal at all. They must know this, so I can only assume that they're so swamped with orders that they can literally afford to just sod some of them off AND take the ding from lost PayPal claims. Or maybe they've been eaten by badgers.2 points

aahhh right the 5watt bulb doth flicker ! 🤣 The job of camo is simply to disguise your appearance to the human eye , wether by blending in with your surroundings or breaking up your shape . Only reason for all matching is uniformity (don’t want to shoot your own guys !) it’s well documented that SF will wear mixed as A there a small group usually operating behind enemy lines , B hopefully it’ll cause confusion for a split second in the enemy and C it drives senior officers fucking mental when you don’t wear matching kit ! And so endeth the long winded explanation ! 😇2 points

If you think about it a tree is more green on top and more brown lower down, so to the eye maybe it makes you look more like a tree, or moss on a rock 😀1 point

Haven't actually played it yet but I know I should1 point

Matching camo does indeed look nicer, but that doesn't mean it's more effective! We started to run mixed camo as well for tournaments, from full a-tacs fg to green (od or rg) bottoms and a-tacs fg top, works wonders in summer when there's a lot of vegetation..1 point

And on the Seventh Working Day, Roger did rest, as GunFire, without a word of apology or acknowledgement, have finally cancelled the order and (they say) "[PayPal] Return has been made." Well, let's see how long that takes to bubble up back through PayPal and my bank account. It took seconds to go their way, it doesn't seem to be so snappy coming back. Bah, it's too late to make a TaiwanGun order and receive it by next weekend now.1 point

Love that 😁 And after they had their big "Back in the game" sale - won't be chancing it with these guys again, no matter how cheap their deals are.1 point -

Working day 6, no dispatch, no change to the order, and still no response at all from GunFire for 4 working days either directly or through PayPal. I have now escalated it to a PayPal claim. It didn't have to go this way. Why did they make it go this way?1 point

I still check in every now and then1 point

Aaand another working day, another no confirmation of my response or of dispatch. I guess TaiwanGun gets my business from now on. It's worth a few more £££ to actually get sent what you ordered in the same week that you order it. Who do GunFire think they are - a British company?1 point -
Just ensure your Aimpoint is the wrong way around.1 point

My team did this one a few yrs ago (we’ve all been playing 15yrs+)and we frequently get an ‘itch’ to do a themed loadout . I did Doc , one lad did a caucasian silk , one did Lake and another did Slo . We gave up on the H-harnesses and used normal Alice yokes but cut off a few bits to make them more ‘H’ looking (I also opened the stitching on the cross back panel so I could straighten the straps a bit more then re-stitched it . You can sort most of the gear you need from normal surplus kit that you just need to mod it a bit to look like the real McCoy. as an example I bought a cheap ass molle pack to use as the trauma pack , cut off all the extra pouches and molle to be left with a big square pack that looked like a real one , bought a bog standard LBV un-picked all the mag pouches (on the standard issue one there angled but lake has the model with vertical pouches) re-stitched them on , sorted !1 point
