  1. SPEND SPREE - AK105 E&L - Telniashka - Berezka gold leaf gorka I also got a mesh mask and eyepro and a watch cap. As I'm now at uni, I've decided to basically restart my kit from scratch. I've also decided to go Russian

    Up periscope!

It does take a whole 6 pack of loo roll, so you're looking at at least £3 material costs.

  3. Good thing about mesh eyepro is it never fogs, so you'll not be at as much risk of tripping over underbrush while you're Russian... Yes, I fucking went there... I'll get me coat! [good man yourself!]

    Up periscope!

This is not necessarily a new piece of kit, but one item for airsoft that I have only just seen for sale. A metal Periscope sold by Patrol Base. http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-sights-scopes/periscope---black.htm#.Vg6l0JR4WK0 Very useful for those players stuck in a trench or trying to spot a sniper, simply up scope and look around. It even has a screw fitting at the base to attach a monopod to make holding it more comfortable. I am sure there are some extra mods which could be made to it

Yeah most likely. I looked at a condor bag, trouble is I'm all black so getting good quality backpacks on black is tricky. Might as well be picky when we out this much into it all 👍🏻

Probably for your most hardcore milsimmer who need their Light Infantry Periscope stand-in.

  8. I was thinking of adding a cricket bat to my loadout to do the same thing to bat off incoming pellets, and a slightly easier with the bat's larger surface area

  9. So just a small update for people. My scope has turned up, but still waiting on the parts from Airsoft Peak. I had a rep from P* speak to me and they saw this thread and my two builds, they liked the guns and were grateful I did the guide. On the back of this we ended up speaking about performance and issues, I mentioned I was frustrated about the length of the FCU cable and they offered to send me one of each of my builds both of which are 5" longer than the standard. Brilliant customer service, really nice guys. Thanks Rodd, you did P* justice!!

    WE M4 Upgrades

Don't upgrade WE M4s seems to be the consensus - they break a lot otherwise. Keep it stock and replace as required. It's not like WA where there's a plethora of different options and apparently the RA-Tech stuff is a bit naff for it.

    Pistol as a primary

You're certainly right on that, but it's worth mentioning as obviously the performance of an NBB is always going to far exceed that of a GBB.

    WE M4 Upgrades

I've just picked one up from myself. From what I hear, the bucking and barrel can be upgraded etc. But for all the other parts, just replace them as and when they break with standard WE parts. Apparently a new buffer spring is good too.

Yeh, the carbon fibre tanks are really light - tends to be the regulator that weighs more. I saw this yesterday. It's like a cheap WAS cargo pack: http://www.tacticalairsoftshop.co.uk/8fields---molle-type-tactical-hydration-pack---coyote-1860-p.asp - looks perfect for a tank setup. Gunna grab myself a second 88/4500 this evening so I have no fear of needing to haul a Scuba tank along with me to games.

    Pistol as a primary

Sorry, but I must. Safariland Universial Magazine pouches. Can fit on belts, Safariland holsters, MOLLE vests, and more. I use them in a variety of combinations. And I plan on running pistols only at Combat City here in FL. Gonna have my Cops and Cartel G17s, as well as my WA 1911... decisions...

    Pistol as a primary

TM M&P will empty a whole mag snappily even at 0C, no problem. As for how to carry magazines, just buy a load of single pistol mag pouches and wear them on a belt! You'll want a belt for your holster anyway.

Not got anything in the house that can measure the weight for some reason. I did however find the weight on the tinterweb, 1.9 KG Considering its size, its really not that bad and honestly doesnt feel like nearly 2kg. I will aquire a measuring device and confirm this. EDIT Scrap the last bit, i reverted to dumb ass mode and checked the packaging and not the bottle! All the specs are on the bottle lol. Its 1.47Kg. George

  18. Try to give yourself 2-3seconds to identify players before opening up, look for arm band colour etc, nothing worse than being blasted by friendly fire. Call out enemy positions when you see them. Take your hits, call out dead man walking/crossing when your on route to respawn. Don't tell friendlies where they are once you been shot. Take, your hits. Most importantly have fun! At the end of the day it's grown men playing with toy guns like we did when we were 5 yrs old! N it's fkin great!

  19. Just use some electricians tape. Not too tight as to press the switch, but tight enough that the pad won't move. Never had any issues after many skirmishes

  21. unfortunately i wont be there on the 4th, work as for tips, like the others have said :- keep your eye pro on at all times when in the game area listen to the briefing your footwear must give ankle support, wear boots take water and a lunch if you think you have been hit, just take it, you will be back in the game in 30secs or less (as long as it takes you to get back to a respawn etc) no firing through gaps smaller then an A4 side of paper (there is lots of cracks etc, and before this rule it did get abit silly/campy) arrive early and see if someone will give you a walk around site, its good to know place names etc They do promote a bang rule, to try and keep point blank firing to a minimum, don't be afraid to use it be aware of pyro kill distances etc but most off all don't be afraid to get stuck in there

  22. just don't be a dick and shout (call your hit mate) or not take your hits.... try not to do what all noobies do... and sit back behind everyone pointing your gun at the same spot for 30mintues and wonder why you didn't get to shoot anyone. try to stick with people that are regulars and its much more fun, also play the objective. and don't worry about getting hit, it doesn't hurt that bad unless its pointblank. also wear gloves nothing is worse then getting shot on the finger that's a killer

  23. Welcome..... eeeeeeerrrr....time to get ...slaughtered then! ..well your bank balance once you get in to it more! Wear comfy clothes (does not need to be full blown Camo!) and Boots, i guess should all be on the hire sites website? Face / eye pro is provided so i guess no need to worry there take plenty to drink....just in case Listen to the briefing, they should explain all the safety stuff like no running, mags out of gun, empty gun before entering safe zone etc... Dont worry to much about getting hit, just enjoy it play rules, follow a few around and see what goes on, maybe some members here who are going?. i did that and go told where to shoot. attack etc., then you'll pick bits up and learn the site as well ask a few questions and dnot be shy....people will talk to you...even eventually I guess try not to shoot some one real close, ive heard some members who play have snuck up behind teams and just said dead and tapped them on the back instead of pulling the trigger....again dont worry! just enjoy it, have fun, dont let anything bother you and start saving!

  24. Genuine B6 charger as said at beginning Well impressed with my clone one and tbh the price HobbyKing do them for you may as well get a gen B6 (I found out what a good price they offer AFTER I bought my snide ones) Charges quick - even at a modest charge setting Them slow cheapo ones I used before will be included on any future gun sales (if I can bare to part with my toys - no they are mine for keeps, always hated getting rid of my stuff but I'm hoarding way way too much) anyway - back on track - Genuine B6 is what you want

  25. So - after skirmishing the CRB for the first time on Sunday - some conclusions: - It performed very well, the hop unit/rubber in particular impressed with good range and consistent groupings. - The SHS HT motor produced a high ROF on auto with an 11.1 lipo (expected - I've used this combination before) with no feeding issues. Although after a couple of hundred rounds it did start to double fire due to overspin (perhaps they were right to ship it with a weaker stock motor). This will be cured with the addition of a Jefftron programmable mosfet, just ordered off the back of a recommendation from a friend. - Nothing bad to report really. Pretty pleased.
