Badgerlicious
Today I spent about 5 hours gluing some net to some trousers and then tying some halo screen to said net. It'll be hard to say exactly how it'll blend until this weekend, though it's a summer ghillie so it's probably too green right now. Still, really happy with how it's looking. It should help me lie in weird spots and not be seen 🌳 Skullchewer
Popular Post Speedbird_666
Needed to knock up a couple more goggle fan units and a simplified goggle-strap clip to mount a Poundland £1 powerbank. Total all-in cost, including the powerbanks ~£4 each. The earlier prototypes seem to work pretty well, but I need to stress-test over the summer when it's really hot and sweaty. Thinking of a dual-fan version with airflow guide vanes to direct the air over a wider area PopRocket123, Tackle, frontsight and 5 others 4
MagpieTactical
Totally changed design of some retention bungees I made a year or so ago. These can be used for cables, slings etc. Have a bit of adjustability too. I know you can use rubber bands, ranger bands etc. But since when do us Airsofters go with the simplest or cheapest solution? Guest
I made a couple of sight plates for the TM FNX to make it possible to fit a sight other than the crappy TM red dot. One for me, one for @MagpieTactical

I got one a couple of years ago, and none of the wind age and elevation adjusters work, but tbh I can just point shoot and walk the aeg BBs onto target. Speedbird_666
Seems like the real-steel-mall-ninja-cool-kids stateside are making 'NV' height optics a 'thing', especially after the former DEVGRU guys at GBRS Group have been extolling the virtues of 'heads up' shooting in CQB to maintain situational awareness. Thought I give it a go - I dub thee the 'tower-block' riser: Yes, it looks ridiculous. But they might be onto something. It feels very natural and works much better with Paintball goggles in the Airsoft context. This was the initial inspiration for 'going high': Along with: https://youtu.be/BuYNpTYJb7k Druid799
Supporters Rogerborg Posted April 27, 2022 Supporters Share Posted April 27, 2022 With the caveat that I'm forever blasting the barricade because of sight-over-bore issues, for dynamic close range shooting, it does make a lot of sense. Keep the toy level at chest height and you'll hit a chest height - the sights are more for righty-lefty. Druid799
