The new Alkaline Trio album, "Is this thing cursed?".

Used to be a big fan, but just rediscovered them after 6 or 7 years of not listening to them at all.

My favourite band of all time.

On another note currently obsessed with this:

In grand Fast Show tradition, this week I have mostly been listening to Ska with a touch of Happy Hardcore

Did you get this in Youtube's Autoplay/Recommended as well?

Yep although I already heard the song before. I think its one of those songs that Youtube added to its recommend to everybody algorithm.

I still blame @AirsoftTedfor my taste in music that has meant I find myself dragging my friends to more Irish pubs than clubs, and that my spotify consists of the Dubliners, Clancy Brothers and John Edmond.

In the car at the mo I've got Black Sabbath, AC/DC, blackberry Smoke and Whitesnake. And 'cos I've been enjoying the sunday lunches I dug out my (cassete) copy of Toyah's Anthem . Yes I still have a casette player / multi CD combo in the car !

Good to hear I've had a positive influence on the youth of today! 🤣

Let me know if you're ever in Glasgow and we'll grab a pint in Waxy O'Connor's!

For sure, people always ask where I got my taste in music from and I had no idea until scrolling through some old posts on here that I realised.

So I have kept this mostly quiet but I am a bit of a musician. At the moment I am listening to a lot of MOL.

It's like if Deafheaven actually kept trying to improve on their first couple of albums sound rather then get cleaner and lighter. I love the mix of Minor and Major keys. Feeling depressed only to feel hopeful one riff later.

Their album Diorama was last years most criminally underrated album in the metal world.

BlackGaze forever.

So confusing they named the song after also another fantastic band that is very much missed.
