  1. Once a pornstar, always a pornstar in my book ?.
  2. Had a couple of interactions with the same person. Granted mine were more weird insistances of a price they'd be willing to pay/messaging me purely to say they thought what I was selling was overpriced... but they had zero interest in buying it. From memory the former was a Marui G34, and the latter some PTS P-Mags. Perhaps just a chancer, perhaps genuinely thinks they're some sort of second hand airsoft pricing gate keeper. Either way, best not to make any assumptions on how genuine their claims are. Ultimately, as I'm sure you knew before the creation of this thread, it's up to you as the seller as to who you are and are not comfortable selling to. Any legal elements aside, the decision as to whether you do or don't sell something to someone is entirely at your own discretion (and tends to be dictated purely by how much the money is wanted/needed in most cases).
  3. My hair was my pride and joy back then ?. To be fair, still is... largely because I'm seemingly lucky to still have it at this point!
  4. First is certainly not the first time I ever attended, but it's the first photo I'm aware of according to Facebook it's from March 2009 from Urban Assault (RIP). Back when Multicam was a rarity, a mayo AR though... some things never change. And yes, I needed a haircut and black boots with Multicam will forever be a bad look. Classic Army M15 CQBR Flyye PC with some custom mag pouches and admin pouch Repro Cryes Oakley SI Gloves Magnum boots (I think) This ones from two weekends ago, not much to say. I don't tend to wear a huge amount of camo nowadays but the mayo ARs are still present and correct. Outside of the addition of the belt and a dangler not much has changed with how I run my kit. Marui NGRS Crye Airlite Chest Rig PIG Deltas Ferro Mini Dangler Ferro Bison Belt Fjallraven Vidda Pro Ventilated Salomon Quests
  5. Last of the new bits, Spiritus SPUD pouch. Liked the look of them when first announced, initially for popping a 16oz Nalgene in but looks to be really versatile. Could definitely see it getting used for extra mags/speedloaders on longer game days. Certainly not a revolutionary pouch, but well executed as usual.
  6. Been a while since I’ve bought anything other than ammo, but here’s my last few purchases. I also picked up a Colt Canada castle nut for my L119A1 from LCS but that’s not a very exciting photo. Black Crye UBACS Holy Warrior RMR and canted RMR mount Swatcom Activ8 Neckband Headset (ordered some Sordin Supreme Pros and got these as a free upgrade, can’t complain)
  7. I get a squeaky bum around brass barrels purely down to how soft it is, so I tend to swap over to stainless most of the time. PDI 6.05 are usually my go to for a bolt action build. Largely down to availability I have one fo teh DaVinci ones from Empire Airsoft in mine (also 6.05), seemed entirely fine though truthfully I didn't use the RIF enough before selling it to tell you whether thought it was on par with a PDI.... looked suspiciously similar mind you.
  8. There was a period when I was obsessed with carry handles, then I realised it was actually FSPs that I was lusting over after all. Fuck me I’m weird.
  9. Knowing you as I believe you do I'd be sticking with the MP7 and taking a win as a win. As you mentioned earlier you like your short/smg RIFs, resist the temptation of the shiny new and just enjoy something you know you like. Realistically, outside of not looking goofy with a lump of optic on top of it, there isn't much the MWS can do that the MP7 can't. I'm sure you'll land on what you actually want to do once the time comes to pay for it, but I strongly suspect that'll be a momentary buzz we get when we buy hobby stuff, quickly followed by some buyers remorse when it arrives and is consequently immediately sent back.
  10. Best: 5.11 CAMS bag (tldr a 190l bag with wheels, essentially a massive suitcase). Fits all my kit in bar my RIFs and saves so much time, space and energy. Worst: Every bolt action RIF I've ever purchased, because I know all too well at this point that I enjoy building them more than I enjoy using them... and you loose a shit load on them when they're inevitably sold.
  11. Nope, all like 10%ish (I believe) smaller than the real deal.
  12. Doesn't hold a candle to the chrome and carbon fibre Thompson ?
  13. BIggest issue I've found over the years is clone shite optics don't have enough adjustment to zero them properly when on some sort of 'skyscraper' mount, granted I'd wager 9/10 airsofters don't bother zero'ing optics... with a further 9/10 on top of that which only have them on a rif for looks ?‍♂️. Certainly felt weird having used a 2.26" or carry handle mounted optic years and going back down to an ACOG on the L119, but I don't have the heart to mess with the aEStheTIcs so I'll just have to accept that the piggybacked RMR is what'll be seeing most of the use ?.
  14. Haha, I wish I had the patience/inclination to sell everything that winds up in the bits box on. As the man above says it’s the Unity FAST Riser. Bumps any lower 1/3rd co-witness height to a 2.26” centreline.
  15. Arisaka indexer for the shorter upper, the BCM KAG never felt like it was quite in the right place on it. Early impressions are that this is exactly the right fit for that length of rail (for me at least). As to be expected the quality is superb, toying with trying the handstop on the long upper but ultimately there isn’t a huge amount wrong with what’s on there… I just like new things.
  16. Always and forever, amen.
  17. Aaaand a few from the games themselves, it might not be as comfy to fling around as a more modern front end but ohh boy does that L119 do things to me ?.
  18. Quick one from today. Vidda Pro Ventilated paired with a Patagonia Adze, same load bearing as usual.
  19. With bolt actions it’s often a case of add it all up and half it (after not including mags in the adding up process, couldn’t tell you why they just seem to hold little to no value). Given this person is actively interested you could probably go for 60% of the total price and then just negotiate with the interested party from there. At the very least it’s a starting point, which for me is always the hardest part when friends and money are involved.
  20. On a psychological basis the whole Mr. No Brain back and forth is pretty fascinating, while also being entertaining to check back in on and all in all top quality internet nonsense.

It’s all far too exaggerated and deliberately cliche for there to be much of a root in genuine issues for me. Just inflated bravado, but as I say, interesting nevertheless. Granted it’s also interesting how it all somehow shifted to a very personal narrative on both sides of the fence. Online interactions will never cease to amaze me.

@Mr. No_Face, for someone who does not want to be here, you are spending a lot of time here.

  21. The ‘legal limit’ in the UK on a bolt action is 2.5 joules, most sites in my experience operate a limit of 2.3 joules.
  22. I dare say it might make your life a bit easier to have just said 'any pistol' at this point ?. If you're after something you're best off making a wanted thread in the correct place bud. Cheers, Alex
  23. You can't imagine my surprise at the fact this thread has ended up going in this direction, the shock is immeasurable.
  24. Aye, a Perr Mike is what I've got on mine. Trades are present and correct as well, and the barrel has had the 0.3" removed to make it the correct 10" (not that it's something I'd actively go out and do myself but I welcome them being there). All it's missing is a few bits of machining on the top rail and it's pretty much there... whether that's something I'll ever get around to doing is another question entirely.
  25. I’ve completely gone off the look of cans of late, with the L119 being an exception because it’s somewhat of a defining part of it. The muzzle devices on the short and long both accept the same SF qd cans though, so should the feeling take me I have the option. I’ve got the warden, RC2 mini and RC2 so all of the options open as/when the feeling takes me.
