Ta for the appraisal, will note that having tried it converting real pmag shells is a massive pain and is done (by my knowledge) with standard Marui mag internals rather than EPM ones. I'd tried it before acquiring these and ultimately landed on 'this isn't worth the hassle'... or cost 😂.

Ear cups upgraded to the gel ones (original foam ones included). Two Ferro Concepts Over the Head Comms Pads included, ones in Multicam the other in Multicam Black. Hi folks, Have 6 of these potentially available, initially all black (#01 is painted green and black). All in great condition and feed flawlessly. Have original packaging far all 6, including top clips, base plates and would include a genuine ranger plate for each. As far as I can tell these are like hens teeth nowadays but I'm getting out of the NGRS 'platform' so these are likely to be surplus to requirement. I may well keep them just ont he off chance I wind up with another NGRS int he future because I doubt I'm likely to find any again should that happen. No idea what I'd be looking for, for them... and where that lands would ultimately be the decider in keep versus sell. Cheers, Alex

TLDR the pricing is fuck all to do with TM, they don't export outside of Japan so anything sold outside of Japan is grey import with the prices set by the retailers that buy them from whoever decided to import them. At least that'#s as I've understood it for as long as I can remember, could be one fo those 'things airsofters say but isn't actually the case' but I feel like it's reguritated enough by folks I'd consider a reliable source of information to at least hold some degree of truth. I think the AR NGRS that I have/have had have all been decent externally but I tend to agree that the cost versus benefit is probably a touch out of ahnd for most at this point. I've hit a point with the system where I actively dislike the 'recoil' because the sound is irritating, having used systems with it for so long I imagine I'd struggle to play without some sort of 'bolt stop'.

Main issue for me is Silverbacks ever dwindling reputation for good QC, or in some instances, any QC. They came out swinging but the overall quality and accuracy of tolerances seems to diminish with each new release, I certainly wouldn't be at the front of the queue for the first batch. They have shown some willingness to correct recurring issues with subsequent manufacturing runs so I'd be inclined to wait until the guinea pigs have had their run at it before considering picking one up. Not to be overtly down on the release, I like seeing any degree of innovation... but innovation without support just winds up with an increased potential of buyers remorse for me. -

PTW users (if there are any of you knocking about), what’s the general go to on a hop/barrel for a second upper? Have the stock one all set up for a 14.5” outer barrel, putting together an 11.5” upper and struggling to find anything on options. I see HAO have the full Orga setup, worth a look at all? I have a spare cylinder, so just have the inner barrel/hop left to tick off. Thanks in advance! (If you have links that’d be amazing)

Happens from time to time, for the most part I'll only bite if its something that's hard to get hold of in this country (be that because it's no longer produced full stop, or just something you have to order from overseas). I have a list of stuff that I'm after and if it isn't on the list it doesn't get bought, unless I'm confident I could sell it on for what I paid should buyers remorse kick in. In the past I've definitely fallen into the 'that's a really good deal, and I don't want someone else to have it' trap. Very much the FOMO brand of shit willpower. Over time I've realised that the moment I'm consciously trying to justify a purchase to just leave it.

I'd argue the first thing to ensure is that you're holding your RIF straight. Not intended to sound condescending at all, just genuinely worth checking. Everything else listed are potential candidates, but it could be as simple as your RIF isn't being held plumb. I've seen it more times than I can count, and I've absolutely been guilty of it myself. Especially on a RIF I'm not familiar with/have put a different stock on to usual.

It was decent, first longer form event I’ve been to for a fair while and it landed at the tail end of a hectic work week so I was shattered throughout. That aside it was well run and the attitude of players was in-keeping with what I’d be led to expect at GC events. As with anything airsoft I tend to land on the group of players attending is what will make or break it, fortunately this landed on the ‘make it’ side of the fence. Assuming I head to more I’ll definitely be booking the day before and day after off, lesson learned 😂. -
I ended up not being a huge fan of the red dot/magnifier combo, but I used one of these as the mag and had zero issues with the product itself. I had my red dot on a Unity Riser, so the mag was mounted in a Unity mag mount (the flip to centre was a big deal for me, albeit at a very high cost). Obviously mounts will end up being specific to what you like, but hopefully this is useful information nevertheless.

Very similar photos from entirely different games, kit is identical if memory serves correctly outside of the RMR moving slightly (it’s now completely gone, we’ll call that a failed experiment). Since adding the Trex arms dump pouch to my belt (have not been a fan of previous belt mounted options, but the addition of the thigh strap has been a big win) the TED on the plate carrier has fallen out of favour. Likely be swapping that back over the trusty mini dangler for the next few games having been getting a lot of mileage out of the one on my chest rig every time I use it. Also the first time I’ve worn a UBACS in about 8 years for no other reason than I’ve been too self conscious, suffice to say they’re very good at what they’re supposed to be good at.

Had a couple of interactions with the same person. Granted mine were more weird insistances of a price they'd be willing to pay/messaging me purely to say they thought what I was selling was overpriced... but they had zero interest in buying it. From memory the former was a Marui G34, and the latter some PTS P-Mags. Perhaps just a chancer, perhaps genuinely thinks they're some sort of second hand airsoft pricing gate keeper. Either way, best not to make any assumptions on how genuine their claims are. Ultimately, as I'm sure you knew before the creation of this thread, it's up to you as the seller as to who you are and are not comfortable selling to. Any legal elements aside, the decision as to whether you do or don't sell something to someone is entirely at your own discretion (and tends to be dictated purely by how much the money is wanted/needed in most cases).
