Just wish the P-09 was Battleship Grey like the Scorpion. I do very much like both of these for form and function though.

Nice if they matched, but they both look bloody good.  The tan pistol has really clean lines.

Haha yeah, just me being fussy but that's what I'm talking about -the pistol isn't tan, it's "urban grey"

@EvilMonkee I used to own the "HK3" one, which was essentially We with trades. Typical WE, slide weighed a ton, it vented like crazy and the paint flaked off everytime you touched it.

My slide on my TM one cracked last year but that was after 5 or 6 years of being abused.  Managed to get a replacement slide and shes all up and running.

@Shamal - Damn, hadn't thought about that. I don't even have a sporran to keep my BB's in. I would have said I was you but I don't have enough Dad jokes in my repertoire for it to believable 😁

It's fine, I've been gouging the 0.40's with a small screwdriver. It took a while but they're all about 0.36 now #lifehacks

36's are AR food. DMR's need at least 4's.

@Steveocee - Sounds like airsoft "bro science" to me. With hop set for 0.40's, my joule output is actually lower than with 0.36's.

@Asomodai  - Yeah, definitely "out in the sticks" but well worth the 45- 50 minute drive (each way) for me. Made a bit easier too as Negative Airsoft have just upgraded an AEG and pistol for me, so they were waiting at chrono upon my arrival 😁

I wasn't sure about the purple grip when I saw it in the vid but it's darker in person and I really like it. Plus it's very snappy, you can really tell the difference between this and a GBBP with cheap pot metal slide.

I ordered a set off body pins from out the UK - 12.99 - Customs tried too charge me £8.99 VAT + 8.00 Handling. Imagine Post  Brexit.

If it was actually protecting UK industry, you could see the point, but we don't make most of this stuff, and couldn't come anywhere near to competing on price even if we did.

 

It's just more money to the exchequer at this point.

@Rogerborg - Doubly frustrating because I realised I'd order the wrong part colour pretty much as soon as I checked-out. E-mailed the seller and they replied that they don't have it in the other colour and dispatched this one almost immediately because I was asking to cancel it.

I bet they have a large range of beers that very similar, but ever so slightly different.

Well at the end of the day, they all do the same thing!

Plus a good pub and a good airsoft site have another thing in common , they both are frequented by grown arse men who really should know better saying things like “watch this lads !” AND said lads shortly afterwards saying “Oohh that’s gonna leave a mark !” 😖

Ye I had one of these. They were really cool. However, I saw pot metal seams on mine and was afraid it would crack if I accidentally dropped it.

@AK47frizzle - It definitely looks the part and this is the "Silo Spec" one with RA-Tech steel parts and TNT barrel & bucking, so shoots very well too. This won't get skirmished much, if at all as it weighs a ton, the mag is a bit of a pain to load and you need the worlds tiniest allen key to adjust hop. I agree the metal could be better but it feels amazing in the hand, I love the full travel slide and it's never splutters even in fairly cool weather.

Im thinking of getting the l6 version at some point and running it as a primary because it was pretty damn accurate with the fixed barrel when I still had it.

Wherever you decide just be careful out there👍

Fortunately as the retina is at the back of your eye, the only real chance (or at least I hope) or something happening is if I hit by head massively hard....and no one wants that!
