No experience with the CTM, so I can't answer the first part of your question. But re. your second - rotate the holster to your preferred angle and then fully tighten the centre screw (good idea to use loctite - blue- but I've never needed to). Don't leave it slightly loose otherwise it will be spinning around in no time like some kind of weaponised comedy bow tie.

I found fishing line was perfect for my home made trip wires, but then again it only had to pull a bit of card out from a clothes peg Before anyone gets their panties knotted it was only the trip wire part which was homemade, the bangy bit was a shop bought mk5 maroon

In fairness if you get the VFC like I did it's pretty easy although I've still got some bits to do

I removed about an inch of tube and cut the space for it in my real 200 rnd bag too . However I fitted a longer belt as it sits in place better and doesn't fall out when elevated

Spent a while fettling the fit of the box mag today. Shortened the air line more and filed out a slot for it on the top of the mag. Nicer fit and the bullet belt is much easier to fit now too. Also removed one round from the belt as it was a bit too long. Mine is made up of deac rounds with the top one from the vfc belt so it fits the 'wiggler'

Just to confirm the PTS Griffin does indeed fit standard A2 flashhiders as well as the majority of the PTS line ittself.

Or there's your poor mans option, dental floss, get about 30 metres for a couple of quid, barely visible to the eye, & super strong (ever tried to break it without some kinda cutting device, always cuts in to your fingers)

Monofilament line has stretch. Fluorocarbon has less stretch and is stiffer, pound for pound. Can be shiny though. Braided line is no stretch and thinnest pound for pound. It is also available in matt green, brown and camo. Green Berkeley is very thin, very strong and lasts years. It also tends to be the cheapest brand. Not sure why anyone would use standard mono for tripwire these days.

It's a Dynatex Scaremonger Blank Firing Trip Mine according to google, they come in .209, 9mm and 12g flavours. Unfortunately I can't find much more than that. If you get it working please let us know what they're like as I'm always interested in stuff that goes boom

I have preordered one and it was supposed to be delivered a week ago but it seems they are having trouble getting them shipped. Ill let you know what its like when it arrives. Edit: had a look at the listing on airsoft world and its now marked as in stock at their eu warehouse so hopefully ill have it in hand soon

That's the "Taiwan gun spec" version that doesn't have the magpul style furniture and pmag.

And there is the great irony of airsoft. Offer the army a gun the weighs next to nothing, has no recoil and has miracle 450 round magazines. You wouldn't be able to build them fast enough!

How (not) to attempt a scam

Just an update. Still chasing the missing parts from my order I placed in August. He is just not responding to my email. Looks like I am going to have to resolve this through PayPal.
