  1. Should be getting this Tokyo Marui Night Warrior in the next couple of days.

  2. These were out yesterday Banging in the woods 😁 The FAL is actually my mates. First time out for the OSW, it performed flawlessly, and great to be able to know that the huge gas capacity meant no need to gas up between games.

  3. It was a bit smaller and quieter than the last one, wasn't it? I got this with five mags for a very reasonable price.

  4. Good little bundle from Splatoon Airsoft’s car boot sale today. A tokarev to go with my shiny makarov from a little while ago, an m203 which I can’t mount as none of my replicas have picatinny 😂 and a lovely charging handle for my MWS

  5. I think this is worth mentioning when it comes up; what @Anonymoose said I would very much echo. I can recall seeing a laser used once ever at a game, which was at a woodland site and it just perfectly highlighted where the person trying to shoot me was crouching. They can potentially have some utility in IR form if you have proper night vision to see it and play a game where that combo is allowed/relevant, but we're getting in to small niches at that point. Obviously if someone wants to deck out their shooter with a PEQ or whatever for looks then go for it, they are important devices for the real firearms we're replicating, but airsoft utility is slim to none. A simple white light that's got an ergonomic momentary activation switch can be useful very often (again depending where you play) and apart from anything is great for.. you know just seeing where the heck you're walking and not tripping over and breaking yourself. I'd wager the most common airsoft injuries beyond little bb welts are probably the results of trips, slips, falls, collisions etc.

  6. I love the Hakkotsu Thunder Bs! My tip.. don’t over fill with Bbs or powder a great bang to! The Pineapple ones seem to be quite elusive at the moment so if you come across them, buy, buy, buy!

  8. I decided that during these warmer months, it was time to try a chest rig Game changer! A lot more breathable and cooler, less fatigue inducing too I ordered a Krydex rig, a clone of the Haley Strategic D3CRM (and with the patch, who would know any different 😉 ) A pity that Krydex store on Ali Exp screwed up my order , and instead of a 3 x 7.62 insert, they sent me shoulder pads! Fortunately, the OSW’s mags did fit in the supplied 5.56 inserts, but made re indexing while playing an obstacle, as it was bloody tight, so used mags were dump pouched

  10. I'm curious, after a couple of incidents with lasers getting shone in people's eyes, a lot of our local sites here have banned them. You need to take the battery out or cover up the emitter if you're running one. Is that just a local thing? Personally I barely trust the average Airsofter with a pointy stick, nevermind an Ali Express laser made with poor quality control that places it somewhere between Doesn't Work and Star Wars Blaster.

  11. There’s been a few people trying to reproduce the important parts etc but ultimately no idea if that ever came to fruition. Tippmanns seem to sit around for a while now as GBBR’s are reliable and Daytona kits are “more viable” so the selling point of a tippmann being an Aeg with recoil is gone. Tippmanns also seem to be relatively easy to break due to the nature of them. Overall they’re a hot mess that warrants avoiding unless you have more money than sense 😂
    3 points
  12. That's what I suspected. Didn't Tippmann go under a few years ago? Meaning it's at least that old and if only used 3 times then it's been sat gathering dust so I'd be wondering what condition the o rings are in. If parts weren't as rare as a politician with honest intentions it would be quite a good deal
    3 points
  13. Slapping a real Eotech on a two tone rattle machine is… different. “Basically brand new” and “used 3 times”… not really brand new then is it? Do people still want Tippmanns given parts are next to unavailable when something inevitably goes wrong with it?
    3 points
  14. I have many, and have successfully used them zero times. Lights, on the other hand, are very useful. Every time i've used one, someone on the other team has shot me. A 100% success rate. Also, it seems to me that red lasers are only good for indoor CQB/night games, and green lasers are only good for outdoor day games. I have an ally NGAL on my 416, which is really nice despite being really for decoration. My SD has a Surefire clone on it.

Picked up this E&C on the forums what feels like forever ago, took a while to get it where I wanted it both externally and internally but it’s finally there after finding the time to repaint it.

  16. I used to watch this religiously years ago but stopped for some reason, just started again & laughing my arse off as I've watched a couple of episodes from S8 and seen thousands of shots fired & not a single case being ejected. I know it's a 'drama' but seriously... I'd expect ammo to be a luxury in a post apocalyptic world.

  18. Ouch! That hurts! I rocked up at about 08:45 and wandered in; I avoided the optics stall. I think you bought the pistol from the same chap I bought the DE thing from.
    2 points
  19. I thought the chap selling the AliExpress optics was a bit overpriced, he kept trying to get me to buy something because I'd shown interest in one optic (before finding out the price!) Definitely not as big as I'd of hoped but some cool bits knocking about that's for sure. I got there almost as soon as it opened haha. Gutted as I saw a PEQ-2 in a box, thought it was just a cheap battery box but turned out to be a G&P so didn't bother to check it out properly haha. Realised about half way down the A-12 what I'd done 🙄😂

  20. I kit some of my RIFs with a laser purely for looks but I don't use it simply for the concern of accidentally catching someone in the eyes. I might be careful with my aim but people can inadvertently move into my line of sight. Most of the sites I've played at have a rule of aiming down the sights (i.e. no shooting from the hip unless you're using something like a minigun but that's a niche itself) so whether you've got irons or a red (or green) dot/reticle, lasers are largely redundant.
    2 points
  21. In my experience, no site or milsim event will allow green lasers or blue. Red lasers only for vis. I can count on one hand the number of times I've used my Vis laser in a game. Unless you have it in a peq unit with ir laser & illuminator, it's basically unnecessary weight/just for looks. IR lasers on low power are generally allowed for night games/milsims except for sites like Ironsight (day dependent on military aircraft activity) or SCCQB. Though I would say only a small percentage of people have peqs that are actually capable of running on low power...

  22. I remember these coming out when I started playing over 12 years ago, so they are a fairly dated design and one of the first HPA out the box set ups. It definitely isn't brand-new if used 3 times, more lightly used like new. Also forgot to add why not post more images of everything like the eotech all we see is a box and no actual pictures of the sight so we don't know the condition of that or if the optics are starting to delaminate.

  26. I play so rarely & already have 8 or 9 loadouts I could wear I'd rather spend the £50(& a few more) on my next wallhanger. Besides I like this chestrig for it's comfort.

  27. Much more comfortable and breathable Ok, there’s more fleshy bits available to be hit, but the ability to get closer to the ground and make yourself a lesser target behind things certainly helps. I did enjoy it and found no real drawbacks to it, carried 3 mags for the primary, 1 extra pistol mag and a speedloader in the dangler if you haven’t already, worth the £50 gamble

  29. Hey im from Essex, so I used to play many years ago when i was 16 - 21 on and off at Billericay Skirmish , as well as arrange own private battles and skirmishes with friends from school (this was many years ago) then didnt play for many years due to moving lots / not living close to a site. I'm 33 nearly 34 now My guns are all Jing gong i have a total of 3 g36s which im trying to change in various ways to suit how i will use each one, current loadouts are full flecktarn complete with meindl german army boots and an avon c50 respirator with ballistic outsert (which i use in conjuction with an electric fan unit) and some MTP kit im putting together i use with an fm12 (fitted with airsoft lenses and outserts). The next camo/pattern i want to get is Multitarn i already have a plate carrier but now looking for trousers/shirt/jacket . Im back playing again now i just played my 5th game now. Im fortunate i have a local site only 3 miles odd from me. I zone out now and again so i dont think i will ever drive (also cant do flashing lights, flickering etc so that also narrows sites down for me example cant go to canvey island site as they use lasers and lights ) Playing Airsoft is kind of a big deal to me as i cant really get out and do anything else due to be being intolerant to Fragrance, Chemicals and Smoke just minutes around these and i begin to get unwell my breathing gets restricted and i get migraines that last 5 hours if im lucky or 3-4 days of nausea, blurry vision , head pain/pressure as well as joint pain/muscle aches. If i avoid these i dont get any symptoms example: just 3 minutes around someone with strong perfume / deodorant or in somewhere that uses air freshener and my vision goes double/blurred and it all starts , seems to be synthetic fragrance/petrochemicals had it more than 8 years it got worse 2 years ago then even worse 6 months ago, drs are useless. My other hobbies include: weightlifting, DJing/mixing, Walking. Also Slinging i make slings too they are good cheap fun to use in the middle of nowhere. I did also play games a lot i was enjoying Rust on these full fresh wipe servers join on the dot of the wipe and try and get some plays/have fun that day , but ever since Dr gave me something called Toperimate (which i tried for only 2 days, messed me up) i now also have photosensitivity so havent played games anymore cant even bare a fan in my field of view 🤢 Be interested to hear what sites ya'll play and what gear and guns you use glhf

  30. I tend to buy better looking battery boxes, the cloned peq boxes/mawl's I do have have only ever been used to look for springs etc that I've dropped under the table. As said above, they're mainly for the look, but in airsoft... the look is just as important as a toy plastic gun shooting 'like ' a laser.

  32. It was the bench closest to the door (Not the suppressor people!), he had another pistol in a hard case 🤔 That's about all I remember haha I was very tempted by the NGRS SCAR in the shop though... Had to pry myself away before I made a poor financial decision 🤣

  34. I use one of these WASDN X400 pistol lights which as well as mounting on the pistol can be mounted on a short piece of 20mm rail either in front of the fore grip or on the side of the hand guard so I can put my thumb on the activate button. It can run with light/strobe light and laser in any combination. I haven’t used it in woodland games as my local sights have either a no laser or shouldered looking through the sights before firing and are super tough on blind firing so I don’t really see any benefit to running it. I have used it used it for indoor CQB, it was most effective in strobe with laser combo to disorientate while giving me a dot on target with either the pistol or MP5K. Looking at getting a silly bright torch for outdoor games as someone at the local site runs one and it can be very disorientating.

  36. I think it's safe to say that this 'comes with the territory'. Airsoft is not a big business comparatively speaking, so you combine the fact there's not much money in it with the other fact that we're running around with 'guns' and throwing fireworks and hence need to be away/segregated from anyone not actively participating, then the sites are generally going to be in locations where nobody else is regularly travelling to. Unless someone sticks to the rare examples like Precinct 13 and Z-Mart that are actually in the middle of a fair sized town, then having a car and license is (close to) a requirement for entry for the hobby I'd say. First time really thinking about it, but I'd almost say that if you're new/getting in to this and can't drive or get lifts, then either put the time and money in to driving before even getting eye pro and a gun or buy one absolutely barebones loadout then hold off further purchases until the driving is sorted. Bearing in mind of course that some people who've already commented here don't fit this category and do use public transport, so it clearly can be done. Personally though I wouldn't ever play if I had to spend hours on trains/buses and then potentially hike a long way with a heavy bag; then do it all again on the way home. Not knocking that method, it's perhaps the only option for some folks for various reason and the effort is impressive frankly, but not for me.

  39. Good day out today testing out my "new" 6b45 ratnik vest. Unfortunately that thing is an absolute sweat machine and the gorget (neck protector) is a much better idea on paper than it is in practicality. Otherwise it was great as usual to get onto the field and spray some BBs. Some great load outs at the field today including a top notch 1980s UN peacekeeper (with period correct mustache) and some Finish camo that made me spectacularly envious. Great sportsmanship from everyone I had the pleasure of shooting at and been shot by but I'm definitely worse for wear in terms of welts and bruises.

  41. Before buying anything make sure you check your site's rules on lasers. Some have restrictions on what people can use. Tbh I don't think lasers are really that useful in airsoft anyway

  42. What have i just bought? hmm. Whilst on "holiday" in cornwall, we decided to go and find an airsoft shop. BR airsoft was found. went for a visit (great chap in there and very nice little shop too) and bought some of these CO2 granades, Hakkotsu apparently. Uses a CO2bulb and a plastic bottle to cause an ear splitting POP. I get that im probably about 3 years late to the party, as usual, but these are absolutely hilarious. Tempted to fill with bb's and/or baby powder... Got the 20+ year old TM G36C up and running, although i dont think i'll be skirmishing it anytime soon. Its a bit of a lump.

  43. Seems a bit dodgy to me at £300… Base gun (Assuming it’s a gen 3 but no mention of that) is £550 Looks to be a HAO mlok handguard, £200 over here new HW S1 Eotech £140 over here Sotac NGAL again over here £150 So just over £1k and excluding any “internal upgrades” as nothing was shown or mentioned for £300. I bet he asks for bank transfer or F&F 🤔

  47. At a stage where I'm happy to share the progress on this. China Lake 40mm grenade launcher. It will be a 3+1 40mm pump action grenade launcher. Externals are pretty much done and just waiting on some parts to make progress on the internals. All 3D printed in a mixture of ABS, PLA and Wood filament. There are a couple of parts that I'm going to CNC in metal (looking at you pump arms) but the 3D printed ones will be good enough for testing.
