/thread AirsoftHub isn't going to give a stuff. Some joker posted an advert purporting to be a real Glock - with a loaded magazine - there. Multiple people reported it to them, and yet it was up for months, and might still be there for all I know. I know this drama seems real to you and your, uh, "friend", but in the real world...4 points -

You can get rough locations by typing the number on google. Information brokers like 192 can be used to search for people's info. The guy has probably used info that is publicly avaiable and likely isn't a "l33t" hacker. Probably some angry bald man who failed highschool. That said, watch your social media and where you post your info etc from now on, and retroactively, because they can all be traced3 points -
Corporal Jones moment coming on here.... When I was running the Wargames Centre in Ayrshire ( now biohazard), as a CQB style indoor site we had a limit of 328fps (+/- 10) and always tested on .2s. As it got busier we had more issues just chopping and changing mags etc to chrono. We had guys turning up when hpa was becoming more common and we had issues with understanding locking settings etc. The same with guys having MK23s with the suppressor which took pistols over 380-400 fps. Theres also different gases that can ramp fps. As said before, if someone has a hard-on so bad to chrono at the site limit then quick change/regas/use magic then they are going to do so. I've had people who chrono over the fps saying they'll use heavier beebs, which doesn't help, as the energy is still there. We did give someone a ban for using a hot gun, and I definitely kicked players off site for aggressive behaviour. The trouble with infractions, some of them genuine mistakes, is that at the end of the day, everyone wants to play safely and honestly, there's always going to be a dick in there, and there's a fine line between punting players/getting a name for being an overly strict site and paying the rent and rates. As much as I/we voice support by playing honestly and by the rules, you get a different experience when you're having to use your own money to tide over the site as you build your legit player base. ( and that is just my experience, I am not in favour of anyone cheating/bending the rules)2 points

Springfield Armory M1 Carbine. Help!
ButcherBill and one other reacted to Cooperman26 for a topic
He’s done a few bits not just airguns. But it’s ok, this is why I ask because I was confused so the responses are appreciated! ? Ive also had a response from Defcon! ”Hi Ben The supplier code for the real wood 6mm airsoft version is SA-M1CC6WSE The supplier code for the real wood .177/4.5mm version is SA-M1CC6E I hope this helps somewhat. Thanks Admin”2 points -
The tactical is fully ambidextrous. One of the reasons I have HK45 (previously a capa man) is I had various friends running it from the release of the standard version and never had to replace any of it. I got the tactical not long after the release and much the same. That's running it as a primary too not just a holster filler like most. Although I have changed it a little. With a little inner barrel modification you can fit any TM cut gbb inner barrel so you are not limited to the lalax. And don't change to any of their springs they're rubbish and impede performance, many people I know and in discussions have found this. Terrible gun but I do love mine.2 points

ButcherBill and one other reacted to Egon_247 for a topic
Ooooh. Yeah. Baby. So I poked about a bit more and found that the barrel moved back and forth in the hop chamber, which isn't great obviously. So I cleaned it up with ipa and added a couple of turns of Ptfe tape to the outside of the rubber. Put it all back together and boom. 1.317J on a 0.28g. a touch too high granted but it feeds. It shoots. May have overdone the spring ? I'll get some pics up in a bit of it in all it's annoying glory. Thank you guys. Always helpful to those with silly pews...❤️❤️??2 points -

Make a gbbr version of your AS VAL or VSS and I'm all over it like a tramp on chimps. Also..... those chonky plastic 9x39 mags would be ideal for a decent gas system. The only reason I sold my old AS Val was the lacknof tactile response on firing.1 point -

I've also seen entire teams/groups/friends leave and be refunded because one person was over the limit. If it's within the range then okay, but then you get "it's only 15 fps over/it's only 5 over the top line /it's my new hop/ it's a new spring it'll bed in after the first game " and there's pressure to let one slide, "we drove xx miles/ heard great things about the site" It's hard to remain neutral all the time, as you know you're getting slated on the forums/ FaceArse page. you put yourself in their shoes, try to accommodate. In southern Spain and Portugal, I've played a few sites and they don't have chrono, they just have an understanding that no one will be a dick. I played in Croatia and there was hard rules at 350fps, anybody who didn't make the limit was told to foxtrot oscar , no ifs or buts or coconuts1 point

Calm down PAL, he's kidding, you got trolled by a nobody on airsoft hub, no one really cares, even the police, but maybe the law should include a proviso that nobody sells rifs under 18, that way they won't get their panties all twisted if called out ?1 point -
Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Galvatron reacted to Lyndication for a topic
Quite a few times. One time they sent an entire team home because the buggers were messing with their HPA setups and cranking the power. Marshals ambushed a couple of them with a spot chrono check and they were 1J over lmao. Generally players just behave themselves. It helps that most of them still think you should run .2s because they go faster.1 point -

Think about it, even if they do, they're not going to call the entire westminster swat team, barge into your house, and lock you up for life because "WHERE'S UR LOISENCE M8???". Police are just normal people like you and me, and understand bullshit that people spit out. So likely they will just laugh at you for being duped.1 point -
Site/game rules override all, but if it's not defined there's nothing wrong with a bit of SIGINT. Listening in on a channel is fine. Blocking/spamming the channel is pushing the boundries of sportsmanship; may your conscience be your guide. Don't even think to fuck around on the Marshalls' channel. That's a paddlin'.1 point

Unless I'm missing that this holster is some gucci RS affair, that's £245 for something you'd be paying less than £180 for from Taiwan new. Already been called out lmao, but £528 for the rifle shipped and taxes from Taiwan, plus £34 a mag (£68 because you're an absolute twunt if you claim the mag that came with the rifle is a spare), so £646 retail including the hop unit??? Just such a mish-mash of parts that are overpriced without actually being the best you can get. Looks like it wants putting down to be fair, can't see anyone paying close to that to put it out of its misery though.1 point -

Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?

Maybe for when the claimed and actual weights are at either end of the weight ranges. If the cheating player were to use a 0.32 bb at 1.2j the fps would be 2841 point -
Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Rogerborg reacted to Cannonfodder for a topic
That makes no sense at all. The joules is calculated using the weight given by the player so if the player lies about the bb weight then the joules reading will be wrong making a hot gun appear ok1 point -

Springfield Armory M1 Carbine. Help!
DJsnipe reacted to Cannonfodder for a topic
Springfield Armoury are the original manufacturer of the real M1 carbine and shut down in 1968. The current company going by the name Springfield Armoury were formed in 1974 and are not related. No real gun manufacturers also make airsoft guns, some may allow it under licence but play no part in production. The closest you'll get is if you buy a umarex walther clone as walther is owned by umarex but even then manufacturer is outsourced to a 3rd party. The description on the link to defcon says airsoft multiple times. It's firing 6mm bbs That's an airgun channel not airsoft, hence its name.1 point -
Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Egon_247 reacted to Cannonfodder for a topic
An extra half a joule is quite a jump in muzzle energy. Eg putting the full auto limit up to 1.63j would be 418.87fps with a .2g bb. Anyone running a gun that hot deserves said gun to be inserted so far up their arse they choke on the flash hider1 point -

Me in the middle as we move the crates to the base, the guy with the shield did a cracking job of deflecting the incoming BB's from a LMG posted down the track. Really wasn't sure about the leg mounted, open top mag carrier thing but it works really well, reduced the insulation around my body and help keep me cool. Me, parked where the LMG gunner was giving him few rounds back when the teams switched.1 point
