  8. Sounds like you're one of those "I yell at 14 year olds when they shoot me with more than 1 BB" kinds of players. I'd argue it's more unacceptable to yell at people and throw a tantrum when you get hit by BBs while playing airsoft, especially when walking in the middle of a firefight.

  9. Update.... So, these next two have been on my search list for a very long time. So, first up L131A1.... (Glock 17 gen 4) So this pistol eventually replaced the ageing L9 browning, with the gen 3 being in service with the sas before that!. Mine, is the very early fully traded and hard to find Stark Arms/VFC gen 4 glock. What makes this stand out over other brand glocks, is the markings!. So the later umarex/vfc , tm/guarder and GHK glocks, all come with the U.S glock markings. The Stark Arms comes with the correct European markings and German proof marks as found on the real L131A1. The only other brand close to this is the early WE fully traded glocks. Only issue with the WE glocks are, that the lower and upper look and marked a gen 4. But the recoil spring is still the slim Gen 3 type. I have also fitted real sights and lanyard adaptor, along with a replica QR code as also seen ok British glocks. Only thing left to do on mine is get the L131 and NSN details engraved on the lower. Top 2 pics are from the real L131 Last pic is mine. 2nd one is L104A1 (HK69) This was brought in for use in Northern Ireland to fire smoke and baton rounds. Then was later used in Iraq. And believe it still in use at the moment, as one pic was posted of it in use last year with a red dot as a rear sight. Mine is the hard to find original CAW HK69 When I got this, was sprayed all green. Took it back to normal, then weathered it. Also fitted real sights. In the process of getting some parts 3d printed to get it running again. Then looking at getting correct markings added. Top pic is of it in use. Bottom is mine.

  10. Guys, if a new member posts he's got two guns to sell quickly & acts daft, don't be in a rush to get a bargain without doing plenty of due diligence, especially pics with "proof of life" in.

  17. There won’t be GBBRs, and no sudden surge of new releases to the airsoft market. (and the L85A3 remains the standard infantry weapon, not the L40A3 which is the ‘alternative infantry weapon’ in use for two units, one of which isn’t in the Army - the replacement of the L85 will be identified by Project Grayburn with at least a year to go for contract award) Its a 3 year contract tender to supply complete firing range and targeting systems - similar to that already in use by “Engagement to recruit” thus is likely to include a number of sets for recruiting teams Project Title 714083450 - Provision of Airsoft Engagement Systems Project Description Airsoft systems have been used throughout Engage to Recruit and have proved highly effective at attracting the Main Target Audience (MTA) and has a strong positive affect on Army image and recruiting. The current Airsoft system is one of the most effective engagement assets being used to support EtR. This capability needs to be expanded and grown. The AIRSOFT systems comprise multiple, interdependent, components as follows: Electronic Target systems. Airsoft L85 A3 systems. Airsoft ancillaries – loader, pellets, secure cases, sights, grips, chargers, batteries. Display equipment – 24’ monitor. Safety equipment – backstop, netting, eye protection, barriers.

  18. If the MoD are reading here goes Improve pay, make sure buildings on bases are suitable and fit for human habitation and stop putting soldiers in court for doing their jobs. Can I have my £120,000 now as these would improve recruitment and retention levels far better than letting joe public fondle a couple of toy guns

  22. Oh, we're going to be sensible about this now? Is the WE the only GBBR L85? Given that we're moving towards the L403A1 / KS-1, I wonder if they'll just skip straight to an Assault-Rifle-15 GBBR.

  25. This has got be joke. Does the MOD really want an army full of Autistic obseives?

  26. Or approximately three "starter set bundles" on usedairsoft. There does seem to be a core of sense to this, although how it actually translates to recruitment is quite another matter. I can see £120,000 being blown on mouse-mats, mugs and biscuits without a single visit to an actual airsoft site to say "Hey, do you want to try a really hot gun?"

  27. If they recuit players that don't call their hits we'll have an amazing advantage when enemy bullets just bounce off them! ??

  28. £1700? Those are rookie numbers. Remember when RA-TECH were selling an M14 EBR GBBR for £3k? And it didn’t even work out of the box ?

  30. This is a good point. In 25 years playing I've seen bbs get in nonsealed or I'll fitted eye protection around 10 times at a game . 2 of those incidents leaded to lasting reduced vision which did improve with time. And I've only read about one other well documented case, although there has to be more. The worst ones are usually when there is a direct line to the eye like over the top of glasses when going prone.

    The King Arms FAL returns!

See on the company's Facebook page that they have the RIS handguards as coming back into stock. Would be a positive sign. Imagine scope mount rails aren't far behind.
