  1. https://airsoft-forums.uk/classifieds/item/59162-systema-ptw-built-and-modified-by-tac/ hey guys , so I massively overpaid by about £600-£700 for a broken shagged out PTW and then had to spend another £700 getting it sorted , so I’m here to pass that massive mistake on at a slight profit to myself , grab a bargain 🤦🏼‍♂️

Recently managed to get my hands on a Sheriff Spas 12. I have a friend who needs the engine to revive his Sheriff Highlander Magnum, so this will be a donor for an M1100-based conversion.

Right now Patrol Base have the Double Eagle M904E for £149.99 (if you have UKARA, add on £10 for two-tone), which at that price is very good value (I bought one on Sunday for a friend). However, I don't know what batteries you're currently using for your "CYMA M4" as using a Double Eagle M900 with anything other than 11.1v is a big compromise as the trigger response is sluggish on 7.4v.

Boxed, 4 mags, fielded 5 times tops. Great fun to use. Will come with a few parts I swapped over now and again (replacement low-pro gas block to replace front sight etc) Been sat under my bed for a few years. Think it's time to admit I won't be playing airsoft again. Comes with box and all the goodies. Cool gun, great quality as you'd expect from TM! Other TM airsoft RIFs / sights / accessories / 5.11 plate carrier / face masks available, have a look at my other items, I'm selling (almost) EVERYTHING! COLLECTION ONLY from Bedford, might be able to deliver if you're not too far away or meet somewhere. Come, show UKASA / VCRA defence, try the gun, see it, if you're happy, pay, take it away. For £450 I’ll throw in one of the marui sights pictured with a mount.

    Sniper backup???

TM Mk23. There's a reason so many people suggest this one. Your MED with a sniper is 30m so you really only need something effective within the 0-30m range which is almost any pistol in airsoft. I personally use one just because of the range, accuracy and consistency it gets. With a Hadron TDC plate and Flamingo 60 degree (or your preferred) hop rubber you can throw BBs for miles (not literally but you get the idea) as well as being one of the quietest pistols on the market. You should ask: what's wrong with your current TM HK45? Is it too loud? Inaccurate? Unreliable?

  18. Thanks. Ill have a look at it. The vfc stuff does use standard gbb barrels but im more looking for something that works right now rather than a top of the line upgrade. The site I go to is 90% dense woodland so I have never needed the best of the best XD appreciate the suggestion though. I probably should have put a budget on the post

The cheapest CYMA M5xx range has toytown plastic: they're good candidates for throwing in the bag as a backup or loaner, but I wouldn't spend money on them, unless it's to learn teching. £200 gets you into the Double Eagle M9xx range. Plastic too, but nicer than the CYMA, and with a rotary hop, quick change spring, and a decent fire control system. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-m4-ar15-m16-variant-assault-rifles?*brand=61 That said, even the cheapest Specna Arms FLEX units have all those features now as well. That's quite remarkable value for money, although they're less of a known quantity than the Double Eagles. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-m4-ar15-m16-variant-assault-rifles?*brand=302 If you want a metal body, you're probably looking at the Specna EDGE range, but then you're paying more for fewer features, and a metal body that doesn't feel (or work) any better than a decent plastic.

As Anonymoose alluded to, itemising the parts will inspire confidence. Not to accuse you of being misleading, for argument's sake, £700 of that £1000's worth of parts could be a real steel optic or you may simply have overpaid for the parts.

Unfortunately due to poor health and mounting bills, I'm parting with the one thing I told myself I never would, my fully loaded, fully upgraded, HAO L119A2 and extremely rare HAO FA556SA suppressor (hardcore version). Condition wise, it has never been skirmished and has been purely a display piece and something of a hobby in itself. As such it is in great condition. The only cosmetic marks are a few scratches on the lower and upper rails, under the rail cover and PEQ box. Otherwise it's all cleaned, lubed and good to go. As it has had such little use it will more than likely need bedding in, the hop setting up, the sight zeroing etc. I also suspect it to be running a little hot due to the fitted G&P adjustable red valve and the 6.01 barrel combo, replacing the valve with stock Marui or similar will bring it in line. Built from a standard MWS and based on the rifle used by Jay_Cal87 which features some slightly different parts to the standard L119A2 set up. What you get - Everything seen in the pictures, full build list below. External Parts - HAO's L119A2 full kit for Marui MWS, HAO's FA556SA suppressor (hardcore version, made of steel with actual baffles), HAO's Geissele trigger pin set (recessed as on the real steel), Magpul CTR stock - Genuine, Magpul K2 grip - Genuine, Magpul ASAP QD sling plate - Genuine, Magpul enhanced trigger guard - Genuine, Magpul B.A.D lever - Genuine, Magpul RSA sling mount - Genuine, Arisaka finger stop - Genuine, Manta rail panel - Genuine, Guns Modify Geissele Airborne charging handle repro, Angry Gun steel dust cover, Angry Gun steel forward assist, SpecPrecision Unity Hot Button repro, SpecPrecision Unity Micro Hub repro, SpecPrecision Modlite OKW 18350 torch repro, Spec Precision Unity Micro T2 mount repro, SpecPrecision Aimpoint 3xMag-1 repro, Wadsn Unity FTC magnifier mount repro, Holy Warrior Aimpoint T2 repro, Element PEQ with correct stickers, PTS low profile Steel QD sling adapter, 2x Ace 1 Arms P-Mags (both have slow leaks) fitted with Taran Tactical repro magazine extensions, Repro Magpul MS3 sling, Box of CR123 batteries. Also included are the tools required for barrel removal and a castle nut wrench, as well as all of the packaging I've retained from building it. Internal Parts - Tokyo Marui OEM hop unit and adjuster with standard Marui rubber and SixG Super Nub, PDI 6.01 Steel inner barrel, Angry Gun Steel bolt carrier, G&P CNC trigger box full set with lightweight ZET plate and bolt catch, BJ Tac Steel trigger with Geissele marking, G&P Aluminium buffer V2 with adjustable weight, Angry Gun 130% recoil spring, G&P reinforced nozzle set with G&P power adjustable red nozzle (to be completely transparent I believe this nozzle, even at it lowest setting, will run hot and will likely need to be replaced with a standard TM or similar nozzle for game use). All in all this has cost a small fortune and taken 2 years of constant tinkering and attention to detail and is a proper one off. Asking £1250 for everything, collection from Snodland in Kent would be preffered, however shipping can be arranged at buyers cost, just note it will be quite expensive due to the value, this isn't something I would want to send uninsured. Any questions please feel free to ask and thanks for taking the time to slog through all this!

  27. Hello - I am the owner of Airsoft Hub, and I thought i'd address a few of the comments made here - as well as any additional ones you may have. I founded Airsoft Hub back in 2017 and since then i've ran the website single handed at a loss. The website contains no adverts, I don't charge for listings or featured adverts etc. so I've been operating the website at a loss for 7, nearly 8 years. I have to pay for the server, image hosting, sending emails (when they work :D), SMS's for mobile verification etc. and there is tens of thousands of users on the platform. Apologies if you do ever drop me a message and I don't reply, I don't even go Airsofting anymore, and haven't for probably 4-5 years so the website (unfortunately) isn't a priority for me and with the amount of users on the platform, it's impossible to keep up! I have toyed with the idea of rebuilding it from the ground up in the last year, but i'm struggling to find the motivation to do so (it's a big time investment to not gain anything from it!). I believe when I made it 7 years ago, it was the best around, I don't know what the competition is like these days as as I mentioned previously, Airsoft isn't a hobby of mine anymore. The notifications were broken and I apologise for that, unfortunately the server ran out of disk space a while back and killed off a background task as a result which went unnoticed for some time. But as of this evening should be resolved. As for the future of Airsoft Hub, I can see 3 possible outcomes: 1) I leave it as is, and let it run into the ground - although it is still very active looking at the analytics 2) I rebuild it, but as part of that, i'll likely introduce payments of some sort (I was looking to use a 3rd party initially to do ID verification to remove scammers and make it the most secure platform. However, this comes at a cost). Essentially though, if i'm going to actively maintain it, it needs to be worth my time. 3) I just kill it off and save myself some money each month. I'd be open to opinions from the community on what they'd be interested in - and if there is any quick wins which will drastically improve the experience on the website, please let me know. For example, based on a message this evening, I added the age of the advert to the listing. Regards, Dave Airsoft Hub.

  29. I have a bunch of that extended one with the one piece feed lips. Its for an m93r made originally by kj works for a company called SI. They are rare as rocking horse shit but Hfc do make a clone of it so it could be a mag from either of those. Could you grab a picture of the valve assembly on the back of the other one? Looks to be a hi capa mag but cant tell what sort.

  33. Echo everything @Colin Allen said - even the bit when he shot me in the ear 🤣. You're right though, a covered safezone would have made a world of difference today. Morning game was really roving, all over the site and some good firefights. Like Colin says, no idea who won but I really didn't care by the end. I actually explored some bits of the site I'd never seen before. It really is a huge place and even after three visits, I still go down the wrong path. Afternoon game was good but struggled a bit in the middle - I think a couple of the non-bands went home early (likely the weather), which really robbed their team of momentum. To fix it, I was swapped onto the non-bands for the last hour or so of the game along with @Jez_Armstrong, which meant I got to shoot some fellow AFUKers (slightly more legitimately ). It's a really great site run by some good folk and I'd love to see it succeed. The real highlight for me though, came after endex. I was chatting to a regular sniper last time I went, that there was something I'd always missed from my collection. Today, he mentioned that he'd given it some thought and since he had two, he'd sell me one. I'm picking it up on Wednesday with a photo essay to follow but for now let's say it will make @Impulse a little jealous!

  34. Today saw the great AFUK meet-up at Battle Lakes on a very wet day. In total, there were 15 players, five of whom were AFUK members. In all honesty, the safezone was not great, with the only cover being three quite small ex-military tents with hardly any seats, very little table space and no lighting; it was very dark inside them. Free tea and coffee making facilities were available and lunch, which was either a cheeseburger or a plain burger, could be booked on arrival. After chronoing and a concise but complete briefing, we set off for the morning game. In this, our team had to locate six large cylinders that were spread across the site and transport them to the locations written on them. The other team had to prevent us doing this and, once a cylinder was at its location, they could steal it and transport it to the Pig Pen, from where we could attempt to steal it back and return it to its rightful home. There was also a suitcase, which had some role in the game, but I have no idea what as I was focussed on the cylinders. This was a really good game, which saw both teams operating aggressively across the site, patrolling, ambushing each other, searching for cylinders, stealing and reclaiming cylinders and generally having great fun in the heavy rain. We mounted a couple of raids on the Pig Pen to recover stolen cylinders. I have no idea who won the game, but that does not really matter; great play and having some great moments are far more important, and there were plenty of both. Unfortunately, at one point, I did manage to misidentify and shoot a fellow AFUKer on our team; however, I did then medic him! Returning to the safe zone for lunch, I found that the site cat had taken over my open gun bag and was curled up on it. After lunch, we went out to play a domination game; there were three points to control by raising a flag of your team's colour, these being the Village, the Comms Tower and the MG Nest. For me, this game was slightly less satisfying than the morning one, but was still good fun, with some good firefights throughout; we held all three locations for most of the game, but the other team came back strongly towards the end, at one point controlling all three locations. However, we retook the Village and the Comms Tower and held them until the end. My personal high point of the game was shooting @Jez_Armstrong, who had abandoned marshalling to play for the other team; however, he shot me a little later. Overall, it was a really good day of airsoft in some horrible weather, with the morning game being particularly good. It was good to be able to put faces to some names and to find that two of us live very close to each other, and to meet up with Tony, the site manager, again. I was a player and a marshal at Battle Lakes back in the day and enjoyed Tony's approach to running an airsoft site. Quite a few improvements have been made to the site since the last time I was there about 18 months ago and Tony has plans and materials to continue improving it. Based on today's experience, I will definitely be going back. It would be good to see more players at the site as it is a good day's play. However, the safe zone really needs upgrading. Weapons used: SRC MP5A2 (Heavily upgraded, only the externals are SRC) KA PDW ASG XP18 Commander (CO2) Best thing of the day: apart from meeting other AFUKers, this has to be my DPM windproof combat smock, which kept most of me dry and warm all day.

Gutted to have missed this, my attendance was always going to be difficult due to carer commitments to a close relative that have become complicated recently, but I was remaining optimistic that I'd at least manage the morning with you guys. But as usual the proverbial brown stuff hit the spinny thing, late yesterday afternoon I took a massive faceplant on concrete, & broke my left wrist😭. Not my dominant hand but still concerns me, I'm used to swapping hands when I get to 99 ? 🤓
