I always take the words "easy fix" to mean it's fucked. If it really is an easy fix then why not do it yourself? This would increase its value and the number of people interested

This is actually for an air rifle but I'm really happy with how it's coming out. It's for the Reximex Pretensis and is based on the KRG Whiskey 3 chassis. Not bad for 3 days work. Now onto the boring stuff. Screw fittings etc.

A couple of other things I've been working on. I got the EMG speedloader but battery size is limited so I knocked up a base that allows for a larger battery and somewhere to keep all the adapters otherwise I'll lose them in about 5 minutes. I also bought the WELL Rattler and didn't fancy using the PEQ box for the battery so I knocked up a longer rattler style handguard and added a 50mm barrel extension to allow for a saddlebag lipo to be contained inside the handguard. Original handguard is shown to show the size difference.

The Begadi hop units tend to over hop with even a small amount of adjustment unless you trim the rubber cylinder. I run a couple with Macarons and Omega nubs; they barely need moving off zero to get perfect flight.

Im looking for an aeg under $350 that is obviously reliable but also a high rate of fire and the fps able to reach 400 I’m not new to airsoft I’ve played at my house for almost five years and have always used a rly cheap gun but I’m now looking to upgrade and start playing at actual fields I’ve been looking at the EMG Umbrella Corps m4 but at the same time I don’t know much about buying guns

I have an Air Arms S410 with a suppresser, comparing it to airsoft guns you would want a gas or spring bolt action rifle or a NBB (non blow back) like a Mk23 SOCOM pistol. Both as boring as the S410. If I wanted something for plinking in the garden would go with something fun like the "ASG CZ75 Marushin Shell Ejecting Gas Blowback Pistol" myself.

All the gas blow back pistol running Airsoft gas or co2 make a bit of a pop plus the sound of it cycling. Most non blow back pistols gas or co2 are a bit naff bar a handfull of models. And not as interesting to use lacking all the action of the slide etc. Some can be very quiet if suppressed. I have a bit of a fondness for spring pistols old ones anyway. Because I'm old and it was what I grew up messing around with. Definitely quiet. But once again lack function of a gas blow, back bar some obscure old ones.

Hi Alan. Airsoft pistols are fun but may not be accurate enough for you. I don't know if green gas is quieter than Co2 but they are much easier to use. Don't bother with spring pistols.

Remember that airsoft batteries are much smaller (fewer cells) than in the videos above. While they can spit fire or pop it wouldn't be as violent as seen in those videos. I think charging a 7.4v battery in an old cooking pot (without lid) would contain any fire as long as there isn't anything flammable too close. 11.1v Li-Po's would need a slightly bigger container but not much. This also shows how important it is to get a GOOD intelligent charger that would stop charging when the battery is full or if there is a problem.

I've had no batteries catch fire or explode, except some nicads back in the 70s which overheated exploded and melted some carpet, in 50 years. I store my batteries in ammo boxes partially charged nowadays, but before that just looked after them, threw away the puffies or physically damaged ones and use a decent charger. I'm also older than you're dad, so lets not use that as any factor in batteries catching fire. 58 being old.. Pah If you have a damaged lipo ( they are only protected by a thin plastic pouch) chuck it. if you have a cheapo charger, chuck it. If you have electrically abused the battery, chuck it. That's how to stop batteries nuking. Don't use old batteries, if you have been using a battery for Airsoft for a year get a new one, you've likely dropped your battery more than once, either in the gun or just being lazy and chucking it on the table. Lipos are soft and will deform if you drop them. I neither charge my batteries attended or place them in a nest of kindling, just use sensible charging currents and a proper balance charger.

They don't. I think that either A. The seller bought it from somewhere like justbbguns who jack the price up to something stupid before they offered it at a "discount" price matching other shops B. The seller is a cunt who wants to rip people off C. A bit from A and a bit from B
