Let's face it, most pistols are "upgraded" purely for the sake of messing around with it. If you just want a reliable sidearm for the odd occasion you are close enough and actually remember to use it, then you could get pretty much any of the TM line and stick 0.20's in them. As I say I've got the AA CNC chamber, with stock rubber and nub, plus a 150mm Maple Leaf Crazyjet Barrel. I can hop 0.40's more metres than I'd ever try with a pistol. For use at up to 30M, I've currently set it up for 0.25's (also as this is the weight of the tracer BB's I may eventually use in CQB). I find much heavier and the BB's casually sail through the air, leaving my target plenty of time to duck for cover.2 points -
Is it possible to have a picture of the sector gear? They are usually very hard wearing (esp G&G gears) so unless something has gone horribly wrong I don't see how the sector can get chewed before the piston does... Also, regarding delayers, I would not simply throw one in there and hope for the best, gearbox timing is something a lot of people get wrong and then try all sorts of voodoo magic in a desperate attempt at recovering whatever fps/feeding they lost. Neither of these things is complicated to understand or fix, but both of these things require a minimum of thinking ahead.2 points

Brand new, never played, some of the gear mostly no idea....

I also agree with all the above. If the visor is like the one pictured below I highly recommend getting some glasses or goggles to go underneath as there's some very big gaps where a bb could easily get through. Infact I'd be surprised if a site did let anyone play with just that for eye protection. The only other thing I reccomended is a pair of gloves. Hits to the fingers and knuckles bloody hurt and even a thin pair of gloves will take the edge off1 point -

Given a constant velocity, yes. To have a 100% honest reading though, I guess the chrono needs to be setup in a way that the end of the barrel sits in the same exact position every time, relative to the first sensor and then needs to take into account the reduction in velocity given by drag, measured (or calculated) for each bb weight, in relation to the distance between the two sensors. And then everything needs to be certified somehow so that the readings can be used, should the need arise, in legal matters.... Something nobody hopes to resort to.1 point

The general go-to gears are SHS, in your case 18:1's... https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/shs-18-gearset As for the delayer, you can try one I suppose but when you have the gearbox open just check all the compression parts, give everything a good clean and re-grease with some gear and compression lube. As for consistency so many things can affect it, barrel, hop chamber, bucking, nub, nozzle, spring etc. Best to get the gearbox working nicely with the new gears and then go from there. Oh forgot to say, when you have the gearbox open and the new gears fitted it's always best to manually operate the gears with your fingers, this will give you a good idea of how the parts are working together and will show any issues. Be sure to post up pics or video here if you get stuck.1 point

Chrono questions...is it out or not?
Lozart reacted to NateChrony for a topic
(full disclosure - I make chronographs) 0.66J vs 1J with 0.28gram is 225fps vs 277fps That's a huge amount of difference in terms of timing. Most of the manufacturing tolerances & timing uncertainty in designs is typically ~10-15fps when shooting 1000fps, with sensor spacing of 50-100mm or so. 50fps at that slow speed is something outside of a chrony's usual issues If it was gas - that could definitely cause an issue, anything that is a liquid & expanding can leave a vapour cloud & cause issues with optical sensors - typically you get high readings as the vapour can move faster than the BB. I'd say the chrony has a fault, take it to the field with you next time & compare side by side to rule out the conditions on the day. You could also possibly open it up & see if you can clean the sensors - cue tip & alcohol should be enough.1 point -
Screeching motor....tm
Mr Dellski reacted to gavinkempsell for a topic
Sounds like the motor isn't engaging the gears, I'd check to see if the shaft is free spinning, easy to check too... remove the motor and check the cog/gear (whatever the correct name is) is securely attached to the motor shaft.1 point -

https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/krytac-warsport-gpr-cc-assault-rifle_i62502 Sorry, that replica PEQ box won't keep a two-tone Krytac at 75% of its retail price, nor will the RDS do much either.
