  4. According to the link you'll need a 363mm inner barrel. As for the outer barrel, iirc they're all the same length (assuming you want to keep the standard M4 look). The 14mm ccw stated in the link is the thread for the flash hider. The only issue you might have is how the outer barrel connects to the upper receiver as some are different to others

  5. So I took to a friend of mine who is handy with RC toy cars and for some reason he manage to fix. My idea is that when putting the motor in, something was making it stuck and wouldn't run. Although I am sure that I've tried it out and didn't work.... Well, it's all good and running now

  7. I'm still so tempted by lite sport, not least as i have found that you can now get shotgun shell magazines for them (I have a load of shells already). Is everyone still getting good performance out of their rifles now that they have been fielded a few times?

  10. I put together an “Airsoft Medkit” that’s basically a briefcase filled with tiny plastic shelving units. I can carry all my tools, adhesives, and enough spare parts for a complete internal rebuild of two RIFs. It’s saved my butt a few times. Just make sure you include the essentials; super glue, emergency crackers, a backup to your backup screwdriver…

  12. Inaccurate loadout...where's your bugle? And I'm assuming there's a nice little 'stache behind that magazine...

    Inconsistent FPS

What mags are you using? Could be mid cap syndrome. Do the FPS issues happen on different mags? Do the FPS issues happen mostly when the mags are full?

  14. I didn't do anything special honestly. I just re-assembled it and left it how it was. Sorry I can't help more.

    Inconsistent FPS

You've missed a key point out from your post... what weight BB's are you using? (Just saying 250 FPS, with no context, doesn't help)

  16. Welcome... as a fellow old fart can I suggest eye pro, steel toecap boots, knee pads, shin guards, back brace, ear defenders, helmet, life insurance & an understanding family who may need to wipe your unmentionables when you hurt something not protected.

  18. It was my first time here so I can't say friend invited me to try this site as it's his local them ditched me due to injuries so was forced to go solo. I would try it again but yeah almost a hour delay to start the game on an already expensive day rate does leave a sour taste in my mouth

  19. Imperium is a site I've been keen to try, but is this kinda thing normal there ?, if so I'll give it a swerve, wasting time hanging around when we should be playing is one of my pet hates I've experienced at some sites.

    THE TM MWS thread

Yeh just the usual pre/post game prep, whip the piston out and TechT GunSav the seal/bore, wipe down all the mateal on metal with a lint free cloth / isopropyl wipe, apply gun oil. Check the barrel/bucking is clear and clean. Enjoy, prime GBBR weather!

  21. Thanks for the insight. I've gotten a M160 spring in prep for modifying and testing the ML MR Hop 70 degree bucking but I seem to have misplaced that hop rubber... somewhere??? Not sure how i've lost it but i'm on a drive to consolidate all of my spare parts + tools into something that I can carry onto an airsoft field (due to a recent crappy experience) and work with so it may turn up in a random box when I break everything down. This is why I haven't updated the post since last week plus yet another boneyard rifle made its way to me... which I still haven't started work on.

  26. Disappointed with my game today - headed to imperium in Kent. I'm used to games started at 9 so a 10am start had me anxious to get going but by the time they got players to the spawn and the objectives set up it was almost 11. Unfortunately I had to end my day at lunch as didn't feel too well but will have to go back again and see if I get a better experience.
