PSA, if you enquire about an item on the classifieds with a view to buy and then change your mind have the common courtesy to tell the seller. You’re well within your right to change your mind and spend your hobby pennies as you wish, but fuck me are woeful communication skills infuriating.
Much better, I needed that.
I admit I’m intrigued after seeing the review on AATV. However it would be great to see some user reviews from our community first after people have used it for real on the battlefield
Incidentally, patrolbase’s Black Friday deal on this was good at £149 that’s for sure. I nearly pulled the trigger but thought I’d wait to see other reviews first.
Update on my SAA mags. Stopped all leaks with silicon grease. The magazine that had its threads shredded from overtightened screws have now been glued together. I took out the long screw that usually holds together the whole halves and glued them together using steel epoxy. The ports where this screw has its fastening points were blocked using the same method + a screen that hugs into the soft aluminum. Epoxy and friction is what holds it together. I got inspired by @rocketdogbert and his drum mags. The mag is now a tad lighter as well
Next project will be a D60 drum mag. The base will be a green gas modded TM 35 rounder which will be put into the body of the battleaxe d60 aeg drum ( Taiwangun for 25 euro ). I haven’t decided yet wether I’ll make it into a flash mag from salavaging the parts of a Cyma RPK hicap magazine off the same site or try to use the electric engine already found in the drum. Weight is expected to be around 750 g and shot count around 150. Costs around 80 euros minus shipment costs. Just wish it could somehow be modded to active the bolt catch when empty ....
Yet another ‘itch’ that needed scratching , had a side folder ; TM AK74su and a fixed stock ; Cyma cm522 with ‘extras’ swapped and changed so decided I needed an under folder as well . So Cyma cm028s with yet more bits swapped out for and changed !
