I disassembled the MP5 late last night and the rubber plug has disappeared into oblivion. It must be somewhere on my desk among my tools etc... When I get time I’ll check the FPS and see how she runs. Yes, forgot to mention it’s the 2019 Version 2.

Yeah good idea. Ordered one of these; https://imgur.com/a/QO0mu6F, keep the cam in the same spot but without the bulky case and a bit of perspex over the lens, will look a lot cleaner.

£30 or not, small bit of perspex cut larger than the lens will enable you to fix it in place with some hot glue or clear silicon, means you'll get multiple outings with it instead of potentially binning it on its first game........ worth doing ? & Yeah, the gun looks way better slimmed down👍

This is what it looks like now: https://imgur.com/a/yMCBSwF I'm gonna get a rail mount for the camera so I don't have to use the bulky casing because it sticks out so much. cam was only £30 used on ebay so if someone manages to hit the lense and break it it's not a huge loss.

Just got to make legs or a stand for it and will try it out tomorrow the aluminium in the top aiming area is angled to reduce ricochet , and deflect down the back of the target a successful “hit” rings off a nice little ching 🎵

I too had the exact same issue! Annoying AF. I initially patched it by wrapping the barrel nut in some tape so it would fit snug with both the handrail and cross-bolts, but that was a short lived fix. The wobble returned and wore away at the tape after a hundred or so rounds 😕 Im sure some of the licensed/practiced gun-smiths could probably provide a better quick-fix solution for this. The best fix I found was to replace the cross-bolts with ones from a real-steal BCM, as they are a LOT thicker. Those findings are very interesting. I have no way of doing any controlled testing at measured ranges beyond about 55-60m (I use 50m as a nice standard range, makes some of the maths I do easier). During lockdown it’s more like 20m 😭. I’d say I can get a good clean torso hit out to well beyond 75m, but I have no means to verify or test with multiple barrels as I’m usually at a skirmish. I may have to invest in a range finder then at least I can accurately verify shot distance at skirmishes (I assume walking towards someone you have just shot with a surveyors tape measure would not go down well 🤪).
