We're going to break it up with 7 foot chip board. But this would be done possibly after the first game! As the Met Police need to sign off on it as well. Alot of the school is empty and we're having to bring it 100's of furniture bits and make our own as well! Are you suggesting we wear tutu's? Website is almost ready. A few more tweaks here and there. We don't want to rush this but we dont want to hold back! Here's some more images! I'm hyped myself. Want to play!

Hi all. Cant give away to much at this stage but we are in final talks with the local government regarding a disused school in Kent. (There are alot of them as well!) Its 90% CQB with outdoor play/break areas with 4 Buldings 2/3 stories high and spread across 6 acres of land. We have secured exclusive use of this site for the next two years. Its currently being used as a Police training grounds for firearms officers and we have it for the weekends Friday - Sunday. Our aim will be to provide Friday night (night) games with a focus on small realistic slow paced action. Saturday games will be objective based games - these wont be every weekend. Sunday Skirmish and Objective based games. We've got bomb props. Fobbed door keycards. Blacked out rooms for pitch black rooms. Long corridors and over 150 rooms of all sizes. Here is a sneak picture. And as we're new to this any idea's criticism are more then welcome.

theirs the fort (outdoors) and the fortress (cqb) i go to the fortress most wed nights. they run games every wed and Friday night 7 - 11. im going next wed should come along. @Musica

If I remember correctly my Racals (modified) were £50 from JCI and I got the surefires through my local gun shop for £10 as they had a sale on. The other bits I already had from using fake comtacs.

For most people it probably isn't a big issue but when we are PMing our coms need to be perfect. My fist mic has lemo and 3.5 connections plus 2 transmit buttons and a mute so it is a busy little thing.

Yes, so the Racals don’t have a physical boom or throat mic they use a microphone within each ear piece that picks up your voice really well even at a whisper as well as the background noise for amplification and hearing protection. They’re by far the cheapest real steel headset you can buy but that’s down to the connectivity issue regarding the fact no one currently sells a lemo PTT or a EZPRR rep with a lemo connector (someone is working on one not sure if it has a lemo connection). Only thing i find is sometimes when the wind catches the microphones just right it causes them to cut out as it deems it too loud however this is a rare occasion only on the windiest day’s.

Small update today. Platoon Stores will be our site shop! Talked with them today great guys! Also secured the deal with KCC and its all go go go! We are updating the site now and it should be ready asap! Here's a few pictures though (Not great. Onces from the camera are being uploaded)

FML you're right how did I miss that. Been using my wife's back up phone while I get mine fixed and it has one of those learning predictive spell checkers on it. Great idea until it has spent 2yrs in the hands of my dyslexic wife 🤪

Speaking of sites that don't provide basic info, I think Ryan said that the Wargames Centre is run on on an "ask if you wish to receive" basis, which hacks me off as it's a great way to ensure that your membership dwindles away.
