General Help

Hi, I just picked up a used ASG SAS12 "Shorty" shotgun from my local airsoft dealer, I cannot get the thing to fire shot, it will cock, take shot from the shell into the barrel but when the trigger is pulled the spring just clicks like the gun is empty, when I unload the shell all the shot falls out the barrel chamber? I have tried several different shells and still the same result. I've contacted the dealer but they don't work weekends so wont hear anything for a few days. I am VERY new to airsoft so please baby step advice for me as I may not understand ant technical terms

Could somebody please tell me what these are made of: alloy (pot metal) , mild steel, hardened steel or stainless steel. I need to order some replacements and have measured the originals. I have been able to source replacements jof the correct size from a UK engineering firm. I would prefer the stainless steel but wondered if these would cause excessive wear when going through holes in pot metal internal parts, the trigger ring, front chassis and hammer unit. I magine mild steel might be better. Or does it not much matter?

So i have an CYMA CM.028c and I want to get a dust cover with a rail, however the railed dust cover I found () looks like it wouldn't fit and the end of the on my gun has to go under the foresight a bit (), is there another dust cover that would work, or can I manipulate this dust cover i found or is there a way to attach a rail to my current dust cover?

I own an agm mg42, and after purchasing it knew that at some point I wanted to HPA it. Well now I'm sick to my back teeth of all the teething problems and repairs that come with the aeg as I'm sure some of you are aware of. So I've decided that I'm just going to do it now, issue I'm having is that I'm completely new to the world of HPA, so if anyone can give me some tips in regards to what I'd need, or if any kits etc exist. And if anyone here has actually done it themselves. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hey everyone, I’ll try to explain everything because I have tried so much and I’m at a loss on what else to do. I got this Vsr 10 spec a while back of a distant friend. He claimed that it had an upgrade done to it just before I got it. It had pretty much all stock parts so I assume a stronger spring was put in there. Now when I first got it, it shot once or twice then turned horrible and grindy on the bolt pull. He told me he used it once after getting someone to do this upgrade and that it was fine for him. Hello guys I need help upgrading my action army aac t10. I want to install the wolverine bolt m into my sniper but im not sure on two things. 1= Is the bolt m compatible with a 90° trigger unit? As I've heard it only works with the 45° one. 2= Do I need the vsr 10 or the jg bar 10 cylinder head?

Hi all, Ive got an early g&g rk47 (i believe its about 15-20 years old) Im a decently experienced tech but its developed a new issue that I just cant seem to fix. In semi auto its shooting at 100fps roughly, but in full auto its shooting at about 300 ish (both on 0.28s) Apart from this the RIF has no issues, the EBB works, and the hop works (when in full auto) Ive checked compression and its good (as can be with the EBB system) Any advise welcomed. Hi all, I have an issue with my MP5 where its showing the red mofset light. It was all fine when I got it (2nd hand but only fieled twice), used it multiple times in the garden, took it to a skirmish, played the first game no issues. 2nd game get the red light, switch batteries all OK for abit then got the red light again. This continued so I swapped guns for the rest of the day and brought ordered a new Lipo thinking mine were maybe getting old snd not holding their charge properly anymore. New Lipo (one suggested on here) arrives and problem continues, only now the gun is permanently in safe mode. I can put it in to dry fire but the m…

I'm currently building around a VFC HK416A5 GBBR and I'd like to know if it accepts real handguards without modification or replacing any other parts. Will it fit the VFC barrel nut? I know there are purpose-made airsoft replicas, but I wish to use a real handguard for this particular project. The rail I'm hoping to use is a 14.5 Geissele M-Lok Rail.

A few days ago I noticed multiple HK416 setups on display at a store, VFC AEGs with replica Geissele style SMR handguards on them. This was one of the things that inspired me to start my SF style build. However one thing I noticed was that many of them had a Magpul AFG attached, the model without a hole in it, which is only available for M-Lok, as well as Night Evolution replicas of M600 Scouts sitting in Arisaka Defense M-Lok mounts instead of SMR mounts. The store clerk didn't have the keys to the display case and the manager was not there, so I never found out how it was done. Good evening I'm interested in buying one of these barrel extensions. They have the correct width size for inserting my tracer unit. Does anyone have any experience of putting a tracer into this specific model? Do the ends unscrew to insert a tracer? Many thanks A

I want to ask a question, there are some problems with the dust cover detent Pin, it seems to be stuck, how should I do, I have tried to use tweezers to clip, it doesn't work. It doesn't affect use, but... You know what I mean... Has anyone else had the same problem as me?

As the title suggests I'm looking for Ares Striker magazine pouches but coming up short. I've got to that point in my airsoft career of getting sick of not getting the correct gear so please help. Dimensions of the magazines are 100mm long x 20mm deep x 80mm height.

Short question, I need to shim my barrel, does anyone happen to know a barrel nut wrench that fits the VFC HK416 series? The barrel nut is real spec diamater, however an HK wrench is impossible to find around here. I would also like to know what the torque spec for said barrel nut is if someone happens to know. From experience, I have removed a damaged one using a pipe wrench once since it was already broken, and it was really on there. There was no glue on that particular one, it was just torqued down a lot.

Having won a rather nice OhShiBoom OMFG multi-shot grenade, I need to get some primers for it.... I can see commonly it's Fiocchi 615 or 616 primers available, and I can see 615's are more sensitive. I was probably going to buy a 3-pack to save a bit on the p&p, but I don't want to end up with loads of primers that are either too sensitive (just how sensitive can they be???) or so insensitive they won't always pop! Is there much difference? Am I worrying about nothing?
