Popular Post lokkers Posted yesterday at 15:35 Popular Post Posted yesterday at 15:35 Latest purchase is a VFC M723 with the bits to make it a Delta ("Gordy") carbine. Even with the suppressor it feels lighter and handier than my other AR15s (MK18, CQBR, 14" URGI), and the kick is impressive (and loud) on green gas. There are caveats however. Had to buy a tool to get the hand guard off because the retention spring is so tight. Had a nightmare getting the barrel nut off too, because VFC love using loads of locktite. Then finally had to replace the hop unit and inner barrel because they'd locktite'd the hop screws and I stripped the head off one of them, so it now has a unicorn inner barrel and 4uad hop and nub. Honestly scrim netting and some jjute gets you most of the way. Just gotta break up the outline. So much this. A lot of these pre-made ghillies, especially the cheaper ones, catch the light weirdly and stick out like a sore thumb to anyone who knows what to look for. One option I tend to use is a £5 OD scrim net, secured with elastic hair bands that I then also use to tuck natural foliage in. Doesn't need much natural foliage, but a little natural foliage works wonders for concealment. The other option I use is an SCG pre-made rifle wrap. If you really want something pre-made, then these are good, but double the price of what you were looking at: https://www.longbowbb.co.uk/product-page/scg-next-gen-halo-multi-season-rifle-wrap (summer / sites with evergreen foliage) https://www.longbowbb.co.uk/product-page/scg-autumn-halo-screen-rifle-wrap (winter) HZR13 and Lyndication 2
Jaylordofwaargh Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Personally, I'm enjoying the resurgence of "optic on carry handle" that seems to be floating round lokkers 1
