Only £5 less than a brand new one full price or £30-40 more than from the retailers abroad what a bargain!

I know the warranties on airsoft guns aren't worth anything but are we really at the point of paying more to not have them?

Also these are currently 120 at patrol base, mental.

There is a saying though; “ a bird in the hand…..”

Waiting times can be painful sometimes.

Waiting times, risk of different item (Happened to me a few times on Ali), customs/import charges, good feedback from the seller... Value is a lot more than just comparing A to B. If you're happy to grab something from Ali, fair play but others might not be.

BUT can equally be said ‘a bird in the hand is worth a load of shit on the wrist’ ??

Don't forget they add 20% "VAT" at checkout on AliExpress.

That is true, to which, I do admit I forgot about.

Used one still ain’t a deal to me though.

Maybe I’m just old enough to appreciate the wait for things to sneak through customs ?

You're right though, second hand is second hand and £175 for something that cost him £200 isn't really a great price.

Especially when you can pick one up new, cheaper ?

Used one

To pile on the "to be fair" heap, it'll come with effectively the same seller warranty as a new one from AliExpress.

Although at this point I generally assume that I'll be going to my payment processor for redress regardless of where the retailer is based.

Lol, yeah, looks the same.

Also VAT is only charged at source on items less than £135 before shipping.

Personally, I have no issue with ordering from Ali, but obviously a lot of people do
