  1. Overall rating (1 - 10):

    10

Would you deal with the trader again (Yes / No):

    Yes, certainly

    Any other comments:

Very polite chap, good communication and paid promptly just when he said he would. A man of his word, and very nice to talk to.

Another plus, very grateful too! Rushed myself and cheekily skipped a bit of work just to make sure he got the item before the weekend (was sent Thursday). Most people would just of gave the usual "got it, ta", but not him.

    Wonderful guy!

  2. Sorry DEDSEC, I was trying to be funny but far as I know, if it was Co2 then I would state that & thanks for clearing that up aswell, I didn't know that companys refer Co2 & green gas as both as on the boxes, it says what type gas it takes

So to clear things up, it's a green gas gbb & thanks again Qlimax & I hope no offence was caused

I was kidding mate haha just letting you know that Co2 is still referred to by some companies as "gas blowback".

To answer your question however, 390FPS would be with a 0.12g bb as Cybergun do that a lot with their products. With a 0.20g bb, you're looking at about 310 to 330 FPS depending on gas used. If you're paranoid about it shooting too hot then use a low powered gas like 144 etc.

I belive Cybergun are just a licencing company though. Much like the SOCOM GEAR M1911 is a licensed version of a WE M1911. So following that, Qlimax is right in saying WE magazines will work fine but so will Tokyo Marui. I have a Tokyo Marui M1911 and use WE magazines in it as well as I previously had a WE Desert Warrior and used Tokyo Marui magazines in it. It's most likely a clone or a retake on a WE and WE typically base their pistols off Tokyo Marui pistols (hence why you hear people say " it's TM compatible).

    Hope it helps.

  3. Ummmm it does say in my post that it's a GAS BLOW BACK pistol mate lol :) but after a day at work, I tend to skim over things when reading

So you reckon WE mags should fit

Co2 is a gas and many companies refer to a gun being "gas blowback" if it accepts or runs on Co2.

So don't be so harsh on Qlimax ;)

  4. They are the genuine ones. They're complete with all the markings and what not. I saw a few Chinese copies when searching for a price, and they're definitely not the ones I have.

For example, the Chinese handguards don't have things like the CAA trademark on it and were roughly finished.

Doesn't matter, you'd only get £100 to £130 max for it. You don't buy airsoft guns to break even or make profit, you buy them to have fun with them, then when you fancy a change you sell it for a low price to aid funding another gun or swap it. You'd get nothing but £100 guns offered for your CM16 as a trade, it's pretty much the baby blocks which everyone starts with. Nobody would pay access of £130 if you're lucky. Heck, I'd only pay £120, worth about £100. Nobody cares about a fancy stock on it, a stocks a stock, nobody would pay more than it retails for unless you have some "ultra custom" P* build or just a load of magazines, upgrades, batteries etc etc.

  5. Not so much a specific post, but rather a member whom I feel over prices all of his kit.

Many may disagree with me, a lot of his stuff is "rare" pistols with fancy slides etc but about 98% of his sales posts have been up since the dawn of time with pages of endless bumps and desperate price drops, yet still no sale. I feel this is because he ridiculously overprices his guns just because they have a shiny slide.

As said, some will disagree. That's your opinion however I cannot justify selling a pistol for excesses of £500 with a "rare" metal kit and a single magaizne nothing more. I see far more custom pistol packages with plenty of magazines, a holster, fancy metal kits etc which go from £150 to £300 tops.

  6. I recently bought a Marui M&P9 brand new and after one use the magazine release snapped, dropping my mag on the ground. I took it back to the retailer and they've said that they cannot find a replacement part for it, and said that if I can find one, they'll order it for me.

Can anyone lend a hand? I've spent hours trying to find a part and have had absolutely no luck.

    Um, see any resemblance here?

    Coincidence?

  7. Is it one with the metal receiver, what's the quality like on the externals?

Metal reciever yes. Metal is rather glossy however feels nice, solid gun. Internals are just as the Double Eagle shotguns and pretty good range however you can't use anything but 0.20g bb's otherwise range is rather short (fixed hop-up). Throws 0.20g bb's a good 35-40 metres though.

  8. Yeah i will probably do that, But will they let it in to England if i cover some parts with blue electrical tape, because I dont want to ruin the wood on the ak

That's not classed as "two tone". I believe it has to be a "permanent" paint, lacquered and what not.

If people did your method, everyone would have a RIF, defeating the whole UKARA business if all you gotta do is wrap some pretty tape on it.

PS: I think the ICS looks badass. I would say go for that and plus ICS are in quite a few ways better than CYMA in terms of quality control. However you've linked two totally different guns. It's like linking an AR-15 and an M249, depends if you want the "support" role with a noticeably heavier gun and more ammo or a lighter, more offensive role.

  9. Might not be a fake one, the code on the side of it suggests it's a very early surefire x300, available in 2003. Hence why it doesn't look like the current line-up

Afraid not, however I understand your statement. Surefire's logo has always remained the same and if you look at the curves above and below "Surefire" on his and compare them to current X300's you'll see a sight but noticeable difference between them. A real X300 (even the early ones) have the curves almost connecting to the Surefire name. However on his, there's a noticeable gap.

  10. Sweet looking loadout mate and it's not often I say that about UK/US inspired kit. I'm sure those bolt cutters will come in handy - we could have done with a pair at The Gaol this Sunday as one of our objectives was behind a door chained shut :D

    Appreciate it!

Indeed the bolt cutters are handy, we had a demolition game on Sunday and there were three padlocked boxes in which we had to escort a team member with a key to active and destroy whilst the other team defended. One pleb lost the key! So having bolt cutters were very handy although they weren't too happy about the padlock...

  11. Seriously, well thanks!

Silver or chrome finishes are still a realistic colour and therefore would be considered a RIF (realistic imitation firearm). Many many guns come with a silver/ chrome slide and black lower frame or vice versa.

UK law states if you hold no defence to own a RIF your gun must be coloured 51% in a NON realistic colour and as said above, that is bright green, orange, red, or blue.

If you attempted to buy that pistol or any other which resembles a "realistic" firearm, UK customs will simply seize and destroy it.
