  1. My civvy zombie clothes comprise of old, tatty jeans, t-shirt, jumper and my olive green army coat

The jumper, shirt and jeans will have blood sprayed on them and I'll be wearing a couple of bandages with blood on them

Oh I like the sounds of this! How do you spray blood on them? Do I need to go on a killing spree in order for this?

  2. Have you managed anything yet?

A little, isn't a huge priority it's just something I'd like to do in my spare time (which is limited).

I've managed to make a civilian apocalypse look/ outfit which could use a little bit of a more worn look as most of the stuff is new. Other than that, not much else has been done but certainly haven't given this up.

  3. Not a big deal. The Kimber Warriors are cheap things and the metal is a cheap pot metal. WE 1911's occasionally have this issue where the hammer starts to make a mark on the back of the slide but it's not going to do much other than that.

If it's a big deal to you then just replace the hammer spring but really, it's nothing to worry about other than a small indentation on the back of the slide.

  4. yea you will have to make an account, but its been a long time since I joined and cant remember the sign up process. I will contact him tomorrow and point him in this direction as he maybe on here too.

No need mate. In the process of making an account and I'll drop him a PM tonight. Thanks for the help though! Hugely appreciated.

  5. if you speak to a guy called GhostofGreen on zeroin he has some spare ones.

plus once you do get a new one (or a pair) I would bend the bar ends round a bit more so it holds them in a bit more so there is no chance of it sliding out and losing another one.

Alright cool. Not a member of Zero In so is there like some ID registration like on Zero One?

    Thanks for the advice.

  6. Hello all,

So yesterdays first skirmish with my newly acquired M249 was a blast! Great fun and got plenty of hits. Very satisfied with how it performed.

However, upon returning home I noticed that one of the feeding tray buttons to open/ lock it is missing (see attached photos). Must of fallen out during a game?

I don't particularly want to spend £30 on a new tray so can anyone give a suggestion on where to either buy one of the buttons (right side) or fix it opening occasionally?

    Thanks in advance!

  7. Beautiful Para M249. Those are quite nice indeed. The added touch of the "live" rounds in a great touch. I have a M249 as well and I recently added the sound activated mag, and it makes a difference.

Otherwise, very nice choice. Time to lay some serious suppressive fire.

Goes very very nicely with my MICH 2000 helmet as I have real bullets in that haha! Having second thoughts about if I should still sell it..

  8. That looks way too heavy to lift..

Jokes :P - I really fancy something like that myself. The thought of your main role being to provide suppressing fire makes me moist...

The thing itself looks a beast, too. Very nice purchase right there fella!

Thank you kindly. Very excited to take it to it's first game and try the whole support role! Isn't too bad to carry, over a long period of time it may start to weaken the arms but we shall see if that's the case.

I have one of them. The box mags are a pain in the arse but my God they're fun!

I've been trying to find a cheap MAG box magazine as they're supposed to be really good?
  9. Niiiiiiiiccccce!!!

Have you test fired it with your optic yet? Just wondering how it works out?

    Enjoy!!

Optic is an Aimpoint Comp M2. I've had it for months but it works really nicely with the M249!

    Not really constructive feedback but....

Holy cow, that looks bloody awesome! The bullets make an extra nice touch! How many rounds can you get in the mag?

2,400 rounds... all my bb's haha.

  10. I googled it and I came to conclusion kwa were the better make. Mind u I would rather take the views of experienced players :)

yep, the american's seem to think that because it is metal it is better, although most of them use TM's now. KWA seem to be pretty rare over here, whereas in 'MERICA TM's aren't that common (according to some of the USA forums).

TM's are more gas efficient, more accurate, and I do remember M_P saying that even though the KWA is metal, it feels more like a toy, but ask him for details.

Let me make an educated example..

I have a Tokyo Marui, completely plastic P226, whereas my friend in my squad has a KWA full metal P229. Both have a 26 round magazine and both fire around the 280 - 300 mark.

Yesterday I was at Battlegrounds, Aberdeen. It was fairly cold when we first started at 9 in the morning, maybe 11°c. His full metal KWA P229's magazine gassed out after 13 rounds where as the my all plastic TM P226 went though the whole 26 rounds and still locked the slide back. Second magazine in, his KWA P229 started releasing gas like crazy after a few shots, my TM P226 was still normal.

At the end of my little observations, I also realised my gun drastically outranged his. Both using 0.23g bb's. Okay, I admit, metal sounds meaner with more clicks and clangs but my Tokyo Marui is a quick, clean, crisp sound. I wouldn't compromise the sound of a gun for performance.

  11. Overall rating (1 - 10):

    10

Would you deal with the buyer again (Yes / No):

    Yes, defiantly

    Any other comments:

Very nice and pleasant to talk to, promt payment and despite rejecting his initial offer he happily paid the full asking price. Highly recommended as a genuine, legitimate guy.

  12. You get stuff like R-hops and people that put in Velcro patches which supposedly increase accuracy and range dramatically.

You could also try throwing in a 6.03 or 6.02 tightbore barrel and see if that helps? Just watch your FPS doesn't go over your local sites limit.

  13. I will get the drop on someone, shoot them once or twice.

That may be your issue. I haven't played at CQC in a while but when I did I had the same issue until I decided enough was enough and would unload half a magazine at someone so there is no childish "oh but I shot you too, cheater".

Yes, it sounds dickish but honestly they shouldn't be a dick in the first place, shooting you after they're hit. Some people cannot admit defeat you see.

  14. Don't have my PS3 anymore =[

Though I might buy another one just so I can play The Last Of Us, 'cos it looks f*cking amazing.

The Last of Us + Left Behind has the most beautiful story and such a fantastic experience with Ellie and Joel and how they bond etc. Brilliant how Joel accepts Ellie as a daughter near the end it's just beautiful.

  15. Really appreciate the honesty. Would you know of any establishments that do good custom work?

I'm not familiar with any no mate. The difficulty to custom make plastic components for a gun is pretty high so it seems highly unlikely to be able to fulfill your idea of an SAR-21 I'm afraid.

Give it a few years and I'm sure A.P.S, AGM or Tokyo Marui will probably manufacture one?

  16. Being two entirely different weapon systems you'll find it is near impossible to get an AUG to look similar to an SAR-21. I've browsed online before for AUG parts and there are no aftermarket parts to get it even close to what you want.

It's hard enough trying to find an AUGA3 rail system. I suppose you could always attempt custom work. However, I cannot guarantee that it would look anything even close to your liking and would personally avoid in case of damaging your gun.

  17. Sorry, should have mentioned it's a new mag. Anything else I should be looking for ? Cheers

Check the firing pin then, (the piece that strikes the valve on the magazine) to make sure it isn't being pushed too far forward or getting stuck/ lodged into the magazine valve.
