For the price you can't go wrong. They'll work and that's all you need them to do. Plus you get three so obviously you can share them with your friends/ team to communicate a lot better without screaming at your teammates to "flank right" which the enemy also hear... I've seen it before and you end up with a handprint on your face and a bloody nose from face palming.
I do advise that you charge your phone though...

Ah dude this is awesome, the support guy looks better than the assault guy imo tho. You need to get a 45deg offset molle plate so you can angle your back pack. you've even got the bolt cutters! love it. my m4 is an exact copy of the bf4 m4 with the standard silencer vert grip and red laser with the Chinese 4 scope (jmg x4 or something or other) even bought ranger plates for my mids and wrote the same numbers on the stock as the game haha.
Appreciate it buddy! That's pretty cool though, I might build myself a gun from BF3/BF4 too and have a complete loadout. Bolt cutters will either be getting painted or wrapped in camo tape though as I don't like the bright blue! Found them in my garage, god knows how long I've had them in there haha. They have however very nicely balanced the PC out now, it used to be pretty ground heavy (obviously) but now it's balanced and comfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time. Not just cosmetics you see!

Hello all!
So after manyyy months and a lot...of money spent getting the correct gear, I think it's safe to say I've near completed my BF4 inspired kit!
It basically all started with my loadout purely being based on the US Assault kit (shown below)
However, the backpack and some of other the other kit used by the "medic" such as the Tactical Tailor 40mm grenade belt cost a small fortune so I branched out and decided to combine the US Assault kit, with the US support kit (shown below)
I'm not going to spend the time doing an entire in-depth kit list as I'm short of time as of now (2 pm), but will happily answer more specific questions if anyone is curious as to what is what.
A basic kit list though:
Head:
Ops Core ballistic helmet
ESS low profile ballistic goggles
Ops Core Contour mount
MS2000
IR E-Lite
Comtac 2 ear protection (under helmet and not visible in the below photos)
GoPro Hero
PC:
LBT 6094
x2 ballistic plates (front & rear)
x2 triple 5.56 magazine pouches
LBT triple 5.56 insert
x2 pistol magazine pouches (one containing a 40mm grenade and the other a speedloader)
x2 glow sticks
U94 PTT
Rogisi radio pouch with a Kenwood 16 channel radio
Viper one day backpack (contains gas, bb's, other essentials)
11 inch bolt cutters (inspired purely from the US Support class)
Small multicam utility pouch (contains 11.1v 2200mAh LiPo)
Mil-Tec utility pouch (contains grenades when bought at my local site)
This is only the headgear and PC setup. A full kit review may be done in the future depending on how well this post does in the terms of interest etc.
Ta!

WE make an open and closed bolt Scar yes but also have made an AEG variant. Basic AEG Scars like the G&G, ARES, D-Boys, WE etc are good but nothing spectacular. Stay away from D-Boys and Ares as they're rather naff. Tokyo Marui is obviously the best, and "the best" costs more. Second hand, you can get a TM Scar anywhere from £350 to £550. Worth it though as it's...recoiiiil *woaaaahhhh*.What prices are we looking at can I ask? I don't want to spend the world on a first gun as I want it quickly for the next skirmish Haha.
Isn't the we scar a gas gun?

*faint noise in the distance* tooooooookkkkkyyyyyoooooo maaaaaarrrruuuuuiiiiiii...
Best investment you'll ever make.

Obviously, I ment like how are the aftemrakret support? Any weak points ? Accuracy?
Again, it's a Tokyo Marui. There's a mountain of upgrade parts for them as a lot of companies clone them. You shouldn't need to ask about accuracy, everybody knows TM is the best for out of the box...everything. Weak points will be it's plastic, not metal so don't go launching it around. On the bright side, paint won't scratch and get worn and crappy looking, it doesn't get freezing cold like metal does, and it's nice and light so the blowback is snappier without using a heavy spring or powerful gas.

It HOLDS UP ALRIGHT, it's a TOKYO MARUI.

You can't, but one of the lovely admins can lock it preventing any further replies.Wait how do you delete threads?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news about your gun though. Cheap things are much harder to bring back to life once dead.
-
Well to be honest, I do think it's genuinely had it. Looks beyond repair as it's just a cheapy plastic bb gun which you can buy in toy shops.Didn't take much to work that out but still, I'd love to know how to get it to work again. Tried opening a smaller version up but it died just as much in the process.

You'd have better luck throwing bb's at people.

Think that thing is utter shite and completely useless as a real steel. Not to mention how measly the gun looks using AR-15 magazines. The 5.56 round has little to none stopping power to lightly armoured targets compared to a 7.62 or a .308, or a .300 round. So how anyone could say "let's make a 5.56 DMR!" is beyond me.*cough* MK12 *cough*
It's like firing a nerf dart at the Terminator.
-
I personality think making any 5.56 "DMR" is wrong but that's just my opinion. If you want it to look the part you'd need to start with a base replicating a real steel gun chambered in 7.62 or higher. To me, throwing a scope and a bipod on an AR-15 isn't really a DMR, it's more of an...AR-15 with a scope and a bipod...
Hey-ho it's just a hobby though so do as you wish!

Ayo, DEDSEC! Any idea when the first gameday in May is at Bunker? I might be able to get my gear up to me by May 10th
May 10th, 9am - 5/6pm
-
Common sense really...
If it has a buffer tube (which it does), it can fit any adjustable stock made for buffer tubes. It may be a little wobbly or tight, but then just sand the inside of the stock or put tape in it depending if it's wobbly or tight.

Afraid I was the same but my brother did.Afraid I was working on the big game, did you go, was it good?
Footage from the lil' bro!

Whey heeeyyy Bunker 31! Was you at their big game on the 12th of April?
-
Bringing a fruit shoot.
-
More in depth details of your guns? Colour(s), any known marks or damage we could match with someone selling, accessories, furniture on the gun, pieces of kit (clothing I assume too) stolen etc? What was the WE?
Details man, details!
-
Well you could always simply wrap tape around the shell or inside the breach? Rather than forking out £25+ on new shells...
