  1. Since he's already been identified on ZeroIn we may as well let others know on here (in case of re-regging).

He seems to be pretty active on Facebook too. Lads names Jamie and he's from Dublin, Ireland. Just be weary those details if buying/ selling/ trading with someone as it may be Mr "Flapjack" undercover...

  2. I messaged him and no response I haven't heard anything from him. Last message was the 18th.

Right well he was online earlier today... Obviously just ignoring you as he knows he's just plain and simple ripped you off. I'd say get the moderators to try get him to talk. Once he's talking (if he does) try smoothing things out first before launching threats his way. If he refuses to deal with it then again, IF I was correct in saying that's fraud, get the authorities involved.

  3. Agreed good thing you didnt...Am just pissed at myself that I sent him the money as a gift. Rather than just backing out. Anyway you think I could get it back?

Well I'm most likely wrong here, but isn't this fraud? Because technically speaking, fraud is an act of deception intended for personal gain or to cause a loss to another party. So if I am correct, you can take this further with the authorities. Best to message him saying you want a refund otherwise you'll take the matter further. He didn't describe the item as what it really is, and has essentially scammed you.

If I'm wrong please correct me. If I am right, message him to get a refund and if he refuses, take matters further.

  4. To solve all your problems...get a tech.

Regards to upgrading the internals all you'd be doing is getting a better air seal and maybe* improving the durability. G&G already make pretty good internals with a good air seal so I'd say no, no point.

In regards to your blowback modifications hell no. There's no way a pneumatic blowback is capable of recoil or a weight. You'd be sending it straight to it's tomb if you did that.

  5. What do you think of the SRS sights?

I think they look awesome, but they seem to have just popped up out of no where lol, I feel like I don't know enough about them to justify buying one.

Quite true, they did just spontaneously pop up without notice. I personally think they're great, but it's all down to personal preference. You have to get the gun right though, it's a big bulky sight and will look ridiculous on quite a few guns I'd imagine. It looks nice on my Marui Scar-L and my LMT. However I couldn't say it would look nice on let's say, an MP5 or other submachine guns/ PDW's.

In terms of performance it's wonderful though. Ten levels of brightness and no red/ green laser business, just a good, clear, pinpoint red dot. Adjusted by Allan screws so no stupid flathead adjustments or covers to loose. Obviously being a large sight the window is very large too which I personally like. Doesn't restrict target acquisition and let's you see clearly down range and great for close encounters too. Built to work with 3x magnifiers too so you can throw on a Aimpoint 3x magnifier and be on your way. Full metal, solid as a rock, can't go wrong.

    Just a bit pricy..

  6. The SRS looks amazing! I need to get myself one of those...

Thank you! I was (at first) dreading it when I bought it as 1. it cost a small fortune for an RDS and 2. it's a biiiig sight. However putting it on I was really pleased with how it looked.

  7. Word of friendly advice. Those cheap China clone ACOG's are a big no no. The fibre (if it even works) falls out really easily, the lenses fog up really easily, and the lenses break to a bb impact or drop...really easily. The metal and paint is rather pathetic and will scratch, chip and break, you guessed it...really easily.

Much better just to save up a bit and buy a higher quality one for ~£150 to save wasting near £70.

  8. Is camo not pretty useless in airsoft anyway? No offence here but it's pretty sad pulling someone up about mixing. He might be like me and picks camo based on the pretty colours and how it compliment my figure.

It's also pretty sad to barge into someone's opinion like that just because he asked if he stood out. You'd be amazed at how a decent camouflage blends in compared to people who go around in desert, casual clothing, or colours which stand out against certain environments. May i also point out the time DED posted we had no idea that Simon played in CQB.

So maybe keep out of peoples conversations if all you want to do is accuse someone for having an opinion.

Let's try not to create a warzone here yeah?

It was an opinion and a question Jambo, not a statement or an insult. So yes grape is in the right mind but it's not worth getting frustrated over mmm'kay?

  9. Dedsec - How did you get your ops core so "Cheap"? I thought they were closer to a grand?

I have relatives I America. My brother in law lives in Dallas, Texas. I also have two cousins, one in Mississippi and one in New York. Over there you get a lot of ex-military putting that sort of gear on eBay etc and they go pretty cheap (~$800 on bids).

Having relatives who are also very enthusiastic about airsoft (one of my cousins is actually in one of Desert Foxes videos for about 7 seconds). I contacted my brother in law asking if he had any nice helmets. He has three ops core helmets. Two in dark earth and one in OD green. So I sent him $650 for a dark earth one which is about £400ish.

Over here, they cost over £1500 at the best of times mainly because they're all imported as no UK armed force uses Ops Core.
