@DestrO It can depend. In the days I was using GBBs (maybe 8 years ago now) I found most of the truly 'fun' ones with a decent amount of recoil were very difficult to run despite my best efforts. I understand the MWS and similar have removed some of that friction, but they just don't kick like HPA (Daytonas in particular) at all.

As usual I need to note: Try it, borrow it, do whatever you can to not just observe it. The number of times I've heard people look at it and go "oh that's too much effort" without actually doing it is mad. By extension almost everyone I know who now uses HPA exclusively thought like this at some point. If your only reservation is that it looks like a faff on game day (and not the high upfront cost, limited range, learning new mechanics, possibly having to go a long way to fill your dive tank, probably selling all your AEGs etc.) then you really have very little problem with it at all in my experience.

There are loads of valid reasons not to use HPA, but one of the weaker is that it's inconvenient to play with, because it simply isn't something you notice after about 5 minutes (and filling a tank on game day takes about 30 seconds).

GBB in UK is a mixed bag. If you want something that'll put a smile on your face, go HPA. There are still viable GBB platforms though, but they're few and far between.

500 error should be fixed

The sidebar is removed on mobile right now while the theme issues are resolved. Same reason as the dark mode.

You might have tracked down the source of the 500 errors - might just be affecting old and rather long threads. I'll look into it now and see what I can find. Thanks

Well as far as the forums prize goes, it's basically whichever site spams its users with pls vote 4 us enough. I expect it's very much the same with all nominations unfortunately, but I don't suppose there's a better way of doing it.
