Definitely. I ordered this and kept saying to myself that it was going to feel cheap and nasty, so had intended to send it back and decided instead to order one of CYMA Platinum M4's which even and double the price is still a budget gun but comes with mosfet, QC spring, 13:1 steel gears etc. So I've got that on the the way too. Can't justify keeping both though ?

Double Eagle M904G (Honey Badger). Less than £120 delivered from Taiwangun. This thing is a lot of gun for less than some places sell Raven Glocks. Solid build, flat trigger with intuitive programmable mosfet (battery protection, 2 - 5 round burst, trigger sensitivity and binary mode). Quick change spring (was sent firing right around 340fps as advertised). Heck, it even comes wired to deans! I don't think it'll replace my Scorpion Evo (which BTW was three times the price) but if I was a new player and/or on a budget I'd happily use this at every skirmish. As it stands it'll serve as a backup or loaner.

Deffo. Hoping that you're on only going to lose £250 and sell it as a job lot (especially when it was originally two tone and some stuff is broken/marked) is the very definition of this thread title. Sadly they'd be fortunate to get £500 as a package.

Wondering if it might even be the opposite issue, the gas being too powerful. I use Nuprol 2.0 as a baseline and go from there.

What sort of temperatures are you shooting in? I have an Umarex Glock 19X and I've always been amazed how well it performs when I've shot indoors at home or briefly in the garden. However I used it last Saturday and noticed the same issue once it was properly cold. The slide moved back every time but it only racked a BB every second shot.

After much deliberating I've just ordered one of these for myself. Also went for a 200MM suppressor so I can extend an inner barrel through it if need be.

Been looking at the M907D - can you disable to Falcon System and install a regular mosfet if needed?

Looks awesome man! I wouldn't entirely disagree with you. My upper body is OK but my lower back has started to play-up in recent years - probably because I work in an office and spend way to much time sitting down. Need to do more walking/cycling after work.

I actually think this is far more common than not taking hits at all. I've seen members of my own team take hits, walk back a few paces then come back in. I've tried both approaches, talking to them directly and having a word with a Marshall, neither seems to change the behaviour. They're usually rentals or players who seem to turn up for a few weeks in a row, never to be seen again. I'd go mad if I tried Marshalling at my local site. They get a lot of rentals who dry fire in the safe zone, use their rifles to prop themselves up in the mud and instinctively lift their eye pro up to cooldown. Plus of course the lack of hit taking/not taking it properly. Not to say regulars never commit those fouls!

I was at Tactical Warfare Airsoft in Croydon on Saturday. I'd been feeling burnt out with airsoft but wanted to force myself to go, so wasn't expecting much. Surprisingly I had an excellent day. 12C, so chilly at first but perfect for running around. They have limited the number of players to 60 (peak days they used to get 150+) who have pre-booked and that seemed the perfect number. I think @Asomodai did a review noting high numbers leading to a lot of spraying and praying and not much in the way of tactics. With 60 there were enough to have a decent number of targets but still being able to pick your shots and move forward without facing a constant hail of BB's. Also the first time using my FDE Scorpion Evo and it performed excellently, especially once I'd dialled in my red dot. My only gripe, was the same one I always have with airsoft, the lunch break is too long. I'd be fine with half an hour to chow down and get back out there but they always seem to stretch 1hr 30 - 2hrs and not only do I get bored but my muscles cooldown and seize up too much! Still I stayed for the second half and again everything went well until my gun seemingly jammed. It was only half an hour or so before the end, so called it a day. Got the cleaning rod out when I got home but there didn't seem to be anything blocking the barrel. A peak up the magwell revealed a spring around the nozzle and I quickly realised where the one from my bottle of BB's had ended-up (I had noticed it missing earlier in the day but couldn't be arsed to do anything about it). It must have been poured in to my hi-cap mag and fed through! Fortunately I was able to do a basic disassembly and it doesn't seem to have done any damage. Long story short, I'm back in the game baby!

£30 for postage! Although to be fair, they've managed to modify M4 magazines so they fit in M4 pouches...genius!

Not only that but take a secondhand Marui pistol for example. If it's £100 + £15 postage + £4 fees = £119. Quite often you can find the same pistol brand new and with postage (and yes Paypal fees) included from firesupport for £10 - £15 more.

This is one of my pet peeves. Which other way is there to pay? Unless I knew the seller well I wouldn't feel comfortable paying cash upon collection. Plus at least state how much extra postage cost (I know in this case they've stated "free" but in general) would be. Plus of course it's overpriced. These are £400 new, 4 x mags and a foregrip don't warrant £340 on top of the £240 (at 60% value for the RIF alone).

Next you'll be getting the Black Mamba upper receiver!

Oh wow, that's quite something. I just had a quick check and they probably did pay around £400 new for the whole package but considering it's two tone and how little mags, batteries, foregrips and replica sights and slings are worth as extra's it probably needs to be about 50% of what it's advertised at.
