This has not been to a game but I will always say some minor marking possible as I have of course had it out of the box. Usual TM quality with a plastic slide that enables the gun to be snappy and more reliable in cooler weather. The nice thing about these is they have a metal frame (ie the main chassis, not grip). Plus there are a variety of aftermarket metal slides available if you want to go down that route. This 4.3 version has the same grip as the 5.1 but a slightly shorter slide and barrel, which some will prefer. I fitted a nineball TBB and 50 degree maple leaf autobot to help increase range and accuracy. Total of 2 x TM chrome 4.3 mags included. Stated price includes PayPal fees and trackable courier. Any questions are usually answered quite quickly but please PM as I don't get notified of anything asked on the ad.

  3. TM AA-12. I love the look of these and of course went for the drum mag as well. However I found setting the three hops frustrating, the gun made me quite immobile, the mag fed poorly and was loud while winding. All in all, it just felt like I was shooting three BB's when one would do.
  4. My Cybergun Desert Eagle is right up on the limit and maybe 10 - 15fps over on a warm day, using Abbey Predator. I don't really want to use lower powered gas as I reckon the heavy slide needs at least a medium powered gas. Had a quick read and people are saying to shorten the inner barrel. I could do that easily enough as have a few spares lying around. Just wondered if there were any other methods people would recommend? I'm looking for something like a 10% reduction.
  5. I would assume they're referring to the little box of BB's and dry firing inserts.
  6. @AlphaBear just hadn't had the chance to type "Marui" for 30 seconds and was having withdrawal symptoms.
  7. Because that's not the only reason to own one. Also, what I believe the OP was alluding too is at airsoft skirmish sites, you can usually either purchase or borrow standard M4/stanag mags. So they're after a gun which can accept those in case they lose, break or forget magazines for the gun.
  8. Why not? There are always variances from one gun to another. Teching is not just swapping parts for more expensive ones. It's more about fine tuning by cutting, filling, sanding and drilling etc to ensure a perfect fit.
  9. Am I the only person who doesn't get the "HK slap" obsession? How many AEG's have been broken by this pointless maneuver 🤨

I wouldn't even do it on a GBBR.

Looks smoother in that gif, than when a ham fisted airsofter wildly smacks his Taiwanese toy.

I feel like the airsoft version is much more 'HK snap' than it is 'HK slap'. Yes I'm aware how shit that 'joke' is, and no, I'm not ashamed.

  10. Save yourself some money and forget about the PSG1, everyone who picks one up, seems to sell it on once the novelty has worn off.
  11. This doesn't come in to it. If the seller has agreed to, then the earnest is on them.
  12. It's all about knowing what you want and comparing options. Don't just blindly go to one supplier.
  13. @Rogerborg - Has Julian Clary hacked your account? 😮
  14. I see sniping as essentially playing airsoft on "hard mode".....ie not necessarily to gain an advantage in range etc but to get more satisfaction from every shot that hits, because they are in fact at a fire power disadvantage. Obviously rocking a giant, heavy bright blue thing, which I would assume performs terribly, just puts the user at every possible disadvantage and as is evident leads to extreme frustration. Especially so if they are a young and/or a new player and have Novritsch or KM etc level expectations
  15. A quick Google brings these up for £120. Two tone reduces the price for most and not sure how the seller intends to post the £3.50 smoke. The scope adds very little value. I fear this person rather than being a "dreamer" is another victim of the BBGun.com types.

This fantastic package pains me to move on but as is the trend with me, I feel compelled to in order to have a nice neat collection of stuff I'll actually skirmish on a regular basis. I only used this for one morning skirmish and got some very satisfying "kills" with it. This licenced and overall very accurate (1:1 scale with the RS) replica, combines the grip length of a 17 with the slide length of a 19. I'm not going to talk about what that means in the "real steel" world but in Airsoft it leads to fewer refills, which is vital if you want to get any proper use from your pistol. I've also added a 2021 maple leaf bucking to help with range and accuracy. Also included in the package is the tan Glock logo hardcase and extra mag (these are often very difficult to find in The UK), spare nozzle and my favourite part the "Trijicon" night sights (made specifically for this model of gun by pro arms airsoft), which from memory were about £70 delivered. I will consider splitting these as they're not fitted to the RIF, please PM me if you're interested in just the sights. I will then update this ad with a reduced price for the bundle. Stated price includes PayPal fees and trackable courier. Any questions are usually answered quite quickly but please PM as I don't get notified of anything asked on the ad.

  17. For me airsoft is like going on holiday. Yes it can severely dent the bank balance, yes it's can be an arse ache to get all your stuff sorted (although now I just stick some music on, have a beer and do it at a leisurely pace a good few days before). Then you need to get up early and load the car etc. However most of the time I enjoy the destination, so feel it's worth pushing through all the other crap. I can then play a half-day and be home for lunch, already feeling like I've done something with my day. Whereas otherwise I'd still be scratching my arse on the sofa.
  18. What do you want to achieve with the pistol? A metal slide is most peoples first move but obviously that's only aesthetic and if anything a detriment to the performance. How about a flat and/or tuneable trigger? I've got a 50 degree flamingo rubber and ZCI barrel in my TM G17 (Gen.4), it lifts 0.28's with ease, which is something in my experience stock TM GBBP's struggle with. Outside of that I don't think there's any need to mess with springs etc.
  19. For that purpose I'd just go for the Army Armament. They're probably the cheapest of the bunch and it's not like they're terrible.
  20. Classic mate, haha. I picked it up used but still in decent condition and shooting 346fps. Obviously not going to be my go-to skirmish gun but a lovely piece in general.
  21. You can cover it in UKARA wrapping paper, it doesn't make a difference if the seller is declaring it as toy parts rather than a RIF.
