  1. For me airsoft is like going on holiday. Yes it can severely dent the bank balance, yes it's can be an arse ache to get all your stuff sorted (although now I just stick some music on, have a beer and do it at a leisurely pace a good few days before). Then you need to get up early and load the car etc. However most of the time I enjoy the destination, so feel it's worth pushing through all the other crap. I can then play a half-day and be home for lunch, already feeling like I've done something with my day. Whereas otherwise I'd still be scratching my arse on the sofa.
  2. What do you want to achieve with the pistol? A metal slide is most peoples first move but obviously that's only aesthetic and if anything a detriment to the performance. How about a flat and/or tuneable trigger? I've got a 50 degree flamingo rubber and ZCI barrel in my TM G17 (Gen.4), it lifts 0.28's with ease, which is something in my experience stock TM GBBP's struggle with. Outside of that I don't think there's any need to mess with springs etc.
  3. For that purpose I'd just go for the Army Armament. They're probably the cheapest of the bunch and it's not like they're terrible.
  4. Classic mate, haha. I picked it up used but still in decent condition and shooting 346fps. Obviously not going to be my go-to skirmish gun but a lovely piece in general.
  5. You can cover it in UKARA wrapping paper, it doesn't make a difference if the seller is declaring it as toy parts rather than a RIF.
  6. I reported it as a misdeclaration issue as that seems most likely. If the retailer wanted to dispute that, then they should have responded to my e-mails and/or the PayPal case. As an importer/buyer/consignee it's my responsibility to ensure I am entitled to import the goods - I am. The exporter/seller/consignor contracted their carrier to deliver the goods to my door, essentially under Incoterms 2020 DAP. Therefore their responsibility for the goods ends when I take delivery of them at that point.
  7. "Supposed to" means what in this equation. Had it been stopped because I didn't have a valid defence, I wouldn't have made a peep. Anyway, lesson learned.
  8. Whose responsibility is it to declare the contents of the package 🤔
  9. 25 years providing it's not the customers fault (TBD by his customer service department).
  10. They haven't really ventured in to the world of high capacity mags at all. Not sure if that's just laziness though..
  11. His head of design has a great job. "Put a Gate Titan in that VFC M4" "Put a Maple Leaf Autobot in that KJW Hi-Capa" "Make the MK23 carbine kit out of metal" "Put our logo on that CYMA Glock AEP" ...and now we have "Err....put an M-Lok section on that P90"
  12. Also £250 seems a bit dear...
  13. I haven't settled on a particular weight. I could hop 0.4's without issue but as you say, there doesn't seem much point at the ranges I'll use this. There are 0.3's in that drum because I wanted to use them up. I've found the drum does bump up the FPS, think it's filled with Abbey Predator atm.
  14. FPS aside, I would highly recommend the hop unit. I love that I can have not enough hop, two clicks up too much, one click down perfect.
  15. Just a 150mm maple leaf crazy jet, 50 degree flamingo bucking and the CNC wheel adjustable hop unit.
  16. God I love this thing. 340fps, 25rps and feeds like a dream... VID_20210808_123131.mp4
  17. Actually my main objection is the four questions marks in a row. That right there, tells you everything you need to know about a person.
  18. You're not responsible for the actions of others.
  19. @Rogerborg I tried to be nice and PM them to that effect. This is the response I got:
  20. I need to get a range finder as I've found a clear distance between two objects at my local site, which is the max my EVO will hit (I keep forgetting to try it with the others). When I say max, I mean as you say, a torsoish sized target without "lobbing" the BB.
  21. It's not completely unrealistic for a well-built (not just money poured in to) DMR to be hitting 70 - 80M. There's no exact science to achieving above average range and accuracy, so it would be impossible for us to say for sure.
