  1. Mostly that the RPM with standard mags is 1500. With the drum it goes up to 2000 and slightly higher power.
  2. At the end of the day it's each to their own but yeah we're here to discuss based on our personal experiences. I've recently switched from high-caps to mid as I want to feel like I am somewhat limited when it comes to ammo but I also like that they don't rattle and I know a BB will come out with every shot until the mag is empty. On an average day my local site gets 150 players and I've seen it first hand, people running around with 30 round mags in their GBBR's and/or massively large/heavy guns don't often have a great time.
  3. @Stratton Oakmont - I always say go for the RIF which matches your requirements/expectations. For me, anything over 1KG is more than I want on my belt. A Shadow 2 is twice the weight of a Glock 17, so anyone who hasn't even seen one in person should be aware of that. Again, if they are looking for a heavy pistol then it matches their requirements. Some people are more into immersion/Milsim than me, which is fine. I keep my kit mostly realistic but from experience, know I'll enjoy the day more if it's practical. I will add that it's the same with a primary, I know I would have far more fun with a ARP9 and drum mag for £230 than if I spent £900 on a Umarex PSG1. Therefore I would advise the former over the latter to most players, especially new ones.
  4. Haha, it's not my arms I'd be concerned with. It's my keeping my belt/trousers up!
  5. That's not true. Granted there aren't many but really the P-09 doesn't need anything doing to it out of the box. However I have upgraded both of mine with the T-N.T APS X-System Kit (special hop rubber and inner barrel), which is designed specifically for the P-09. I don't have any exact range figures but I'm hitting very good distances and accurately, with the pistol shooting around 325 - 330FPS on a cool day and CO2 mag (for which I get 4-5 mags from a single capsule). I'm sure it's a good pistol but I would hesitate to recommend the Shadow 2 unless someone had handled one. Mostly because they are nearly 1.3KG, compared to 840g of the P-09. That's not far off Cybergun (full-metal) Desert Eagle weight and although I own one of those, wouldn't use it as a "daily driver"
  6. The advertised sale ended on 28th May. I feel double-duped, haha.
  7. Yeah. It's turned the AAP in to a whole different animal - especially for the first hundred or so shots. A shame about the durability, especially at the price! I often take back-ups of everything but will bear than in mind, cheers!
  8. Yeah TM's feel a bit lacking in the hand but generally work much better out of the box, especially in our cooler climate. Otherwise just decide on a model you like and go with that. Most people use pistols far less than they anticipate.
  9. Picked up the Kraken nub and it's only really if you want to hop sniper heavy BB's, as tried it with 0.36's. Zero hop applied = needs more hop. One click on the dial, sends them to the sky. I have since switched back to the standard AA nub, which is fine as it easily hops 0.30's with plenty of wheel to go. Definitely want to use this for village games at my local site. Early 340fps with no hop. Drops to a very consistent 316 when set to 0.30g. Besides, I've just picked up one of these while I was exchanging my 19X....😬
  10. Yeah, I know this is a 1911 style pistol so has less gas capacity but just tested five mags in a row with rapid shooting. It's as smooth as butter and didn't struggle from cool down at all. Guess Marui pistols just work! They said I could have a full refund but c'mon I was already in the shop 😅.... Nearly bought a TM MP7 while I was there too. Crawley Surplus.
  11. Took it back, they agreed it was a lemon and I swapped it for this li'l beauty... 10/10 for how the shop handled it.
  12. Looks like the slide is warped. I'm going to send it back.
  13. I know airsoft Glocks are particularly bad when it comes to needing to bed in, so I could understand if it was an intermittent problem but this is every shot 😕
  14. Bought it new. Will post pics later.
  15. After missing the one I sold not so long ago, I picked up a new one. I already had a spare set of "trijicon" sights lying around, so fitted those (as I had without issue on my previous one). I reassembled and the gun racks flawlessly without the mag in. If the mag is in but empty it will lock back after the first shot, as it should. However after that first shot the slide won't return forward, I have give it a little help. This also means when trying to actually fire it "jams" with every shot, the slide sticking half-way. I've cleaned and lubed, I've tried various hop buckings. I've even changed the nozzle but I'm stumped. I'm sure it's nothing to do with the lower half so that only leaves their being an issue with how the slide is formed (possible warping etc) or the BBU housing itself as the nozzle springs forward just fine. While I'm no tech, I like to think I know more than the average skirmisher when it comes to getting Glocks to work, so I just thought I'd put this out here on the off chance anyone had any suggestions. If not I'll order a new BBU and see if that solves it.
  16. @MiK - Essentially. For a time they were suggesting 6.44mm, 0.58g BB's were the future of sniping. You'd also need to buy a specific barrel etc from them as part of a kit of course. As far as I can see, the idea didn't catch on at all and hasn't even been mentioned by them since.
  17. Clearing stock to cover what he owes on the failed 6.44MM BB experiment?
  18. I installed the wheel adjustment chamber and 138MM ML Crazy Jet barrel last night. In case anyone was wondering, 138MM is the max length you can use on the Black Mamba kit without it extending past the muzzle break cutout and looking a bit silly. This hop chamber is interesting as it changes the system from the standard pistol hop arm to a proper arm and nub, similar to an AEG setup. Just because I get FOMO over these things, I've jumped back on skirmshop and ordered a kraken flat nub to pair with the 50 degree flamingo bucking. Looks like it's going to be pretty epic though. I started off with the hop on about halfway and it was skying 0.3s. Chronoed around 336fps on 0.2's
  19. No make or model, could be a VFC I guess? Although someone really needs to introduce him to aliexpress if he paid that for those accessories. Optic:50Grip:35
  20. Action hobbies buy all sorts of used guns and gear in job lots. You'd have to bear in mind that they buy to sell, so you'd likely get far less than selling individually and privately.
  21. You failed to highlight "Unused for 3 plus years" So not only is it more expensive than new, you'll likely need to give it a thorough service before it even works.
  22. The really messed up thing is this is the SECOND one of these I've bought after a few drinks. They're cool but so big and heavy.
  23. This advert is COMPLETED!

As per title, never been used in a game but minor marks from the few plinking sessions it has seen since I bought it new in November 2020. A fun little gun, surprisingly gas efficient and 1200rps on full-auto but again I'm not keen on keeping guns I'm not going to skirmish, so the time has come to let this go. Comes in original box, with manual and one mag in total. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Any questions are usually answered quite quickly but please ask via PM as I don't get notifications of anything on the listing.
