@Steveocee - I genuinely wish that was the case but doesn't seem like people are much interested in that. The airsoft videos which seem to pull the biggest numbers on youtube, are drama in a game and those which spend thousands on mystery boxes.

I do this sometimes but nothing to do with the Missus. I'm fortunate enough to have the disposable income to buy toys and still have plenty left over to pay for more important things. I just don't particularly enjoy having guns which won't be in my top three to skirmish. So I will list something and if it doesn't sell for what I would be happy with, so be it. I've never been desperate to move something on. More like just so I can justify (to myself) buying something new. Actually typing that in full has brought me to a moment of great realisation....why am I trapped in this loop!? I already have plenty of guns and need to stop looking out of boredom, chasing the thrill of a delivery...thanks you've been a massive help! Oh you mean the type of Airsoft gun that's "bought as an investment" because in five years it'll be worth thousands 😬

If we're just talking for this part, the shipping is £5 and I can't see them slapping those other charges on but guess there's always going to be some degree of risk, as I've obviously found out.

@Rogerborg - Obviously not a RIF and I will say I like dealing with firesupport, their prices are usually good too but things like this make it difficult not to order from abroad..

This thread is really making me want to keep my 4.3 and put all these bits on it but £170 for a frame and £200 for a grip! 😮 I've also just picked up a Gold Match and very tempted to send it to Mike Cripps, so he can fit a black AM Limcat slide with Gold enameling etc. How much would that negatively impact the cooldown side of things though?

Yikes. I think I'm just going to stop ordering anything remotely RIF like from abroad. Yes you can potentially save 10% or so if you're fortunate enough it doesn't get pulled for inspection but I'd rather just have it quickly and with an easier avenue or resolution if something goes wrong.

Final update on this one. I work in logistics, so constantly solving problems for other people. Which means I seem to have very little time or inclination to sort my own out, when stuff like this occurs. So I didn't follow up with BF but quickly raised a PayPal dispute and today I've received a full refund, as the seller didn't even respond to the case.

Please don't get a two-toned £450 GBBR for your first gun. Although actually yeah get one, it'd make a great bargain for someone here when you list it for sale after 30 minutes of use! -

Site rules are often specific to them. My local allows shotguns when they say "semi only" but again, best to check before you attend. However yes, unless it's over 350fps they should allow you to have a gun which is capable of full-auto and you just don't use it in those situations. Although thinking about it, have any UK sites announced a particular stance on the The G&G SSG-1?? -

This is not strictly true. You don't need to turn up to site with a two tone gun as no one is going to check your defence. It's on the person selling the RIF to you to check UKARA or other defence. Also power limits vary from site to site but are generally 350fps/1.14 joule for anything capable of full-auto. Providing it's a 6mm airsoft gun and within the sites stated limits, I'm not aware of anything which is actually banned. Maybe another forum member is though? -
Yeah I should quantify that when I say reliable I mean I can count on it while the mags are able to create a seal. They only seem to fail between games, so far so good on the field. I have bought six CO2 mags for it and at least two pissed gas immediately.

If I open an iwholesale account and make a website, then never actually communicate with my customers, can I call myself an airsoft shop? Seems to work for many!

I love using pistols, even in woodland games. Getting kills with them is just so entertaining. I have several including 2 x ASG P-09's, which even in cold weather shoot very reliably for 4-5 mags at around 330fps. However in hot weather they can be a bit too powerful, so I use my Umarex Glock 19X or one of the TM's. I've tried AEP's in the past, even including the newest CYMA with MOSFET and I hated it. When I'm in close and split seconds count, I don't want my pistol whirring up to fire when I pull the trigger before shooting a measily 220fps. Show me a brand new design which fires at least 300fps and shoots almost instantly.

Don't ask why LOL but I'm looking for a non-TM Hi-Capa and on the surface these appear to be at least halfway decent. Does anyone here have any real world experience with them though and speak on their gas efficiency, accuracy and reliability etc? I will add that I'm specifically looking at the HX2002 and HX1005.

I appreciate they prevent fine tuning but I just like having one click too much, two clicks down not enough, one click up just right. I've seen Krytac hop units can be picked-up for around £30 but not sure it's even worth that.

Quick one - can anyone recommend a hop unit with incremental clicks? Also, ideally on the cheaper side as it'd only be going in my DE Honey Badger.

I've also experienced the terrible customer service provided by the Novritsch team. They immediately blamed me for a part failing. This is how it should be done. I ordered 4 x bags of BB's and 2 x Lipos from 308sniper.co.uk on a next day service. Only one bag of BB's and one battery was delivered today. Within two hours of my initial email reprting the issue, I received this: -

I've noticed something about those 4.3 Limcat slides which is going to bother me. They have 9mm markings and my Guarder outer barrel .45. Does anyone make an outer barrel with 9mm markings?
