  1. Every video I see of this leads me to thinking they've made an excellent RIF and training weapon but not an optimal Airsoft gun. - Difficult to load mags. - Painful hop adjustment. - Heavy trigger. - Difficult (shown to be far more-so than the real steel) to disassemble.
  2. Had a stinking cold all weekend and in my boredom watched one of the recent Novritsch videos. Yikes, shooting a kid with 1.8J and 0.46g's from 3 - 4 metres and showing himself doing the definition of blind firing....

Never been a ‘fanboy’ of Novichok but in the beginning his vids where entertaining but now ? He’s gone the same way as every other Airsoft ‘superstar’ , after a period of time they all seem to turn in to wankers once they’ve been treated like a Demi-god by hordes of pimply faced pre-pubescent crotch goblins for long enough .

    • For sale

This is a nice piece of kit with its clear sight picture and rubberised outer. Only selling as I'm not using it. Still in excellent condition as it's only been to one game day. Different brightness settings and easy to zero (using the turret covers as tools). Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Any questions are usually answered quite quickly but please PM as I don't get notified of anything asked on the listing.

    £40

  4. Just FYI, the dust cover isn't supposed to stay closed on this model.
  5. Are there a significant number of examples of joule creep with standard "battle rifle" AEG's? I feel like this only really comes in to play when you start talking about bolt action and DMR's.
  6. If you look at the classifieds you'll see a member has listed similar guns for around the £500 mark. Those have been up for sale for about two years though. They may eventually sell for that but guess it's a matter of waiting to find the right person, which is your prerogative if you're not in a hurry. I should imagine they're worth about half that at most to 95% of airsofters though.
  7. Who knows what's going on in this photo though. He's wearing safety glasses and the mag isn't in. I can't tell if it's an AEG or GBBR but if it's an AEG then maybe he's confident the chamber has been cleared or maybe there's not even a battery in it. Worst case scenario he pings himself in the face with a BB. Obviously if it's a GBBR, it wouldn't even fire without the mag.
  8. I've never been to an Airsoft site which sells alcohol. Please would you name a few examples? (seeing as you used plurality to imply it's the norm) In regards to smoking weed prior to/while playing, let's just say a large portion of players don't need any help being slower or dopier.
  9. Probably best to just to delete this thread and get on with our lives, eh.
  10. Thanks for the detailed review. Last I heard having a drum mag with a pistol was a contentious issue. They've now confirmed they allow them?
  11. Obviously off-topic but I work in shipping/freight forwarding and the same practices are happening in this industry. Every other week the vessels omit UK ports, the following is then naturally full/overbooked. Rinse and repeat for a few months. The shipping lines can then triple prices and claim it's because there's no space on the vessels.
  12. "We admit it, TM Hi-Capa's are far superior"
  13. Do you mean woodland or indoor CQB? Especially in woodland you'd likely need to be fit and use a very aggressive/sneaky play style. I wouldn't attempt it if you're more the type who hangs near the back to middle. I have pistols which shoot 50m but obviously they're less accurate, don't penetrate foliage as well and only have 25 round mags.
  14. Ahh I don't mean counts the BB's in the mags, just the total amount shot through the gun.
  15. Not a fan of Titan's, I just want something which offers battery protection, improves snappiness and maybe keeps track of BB count. Are there any options?
  16. Just tried to get through to Patrol Base on the phone and quickly hung up after hearing "You are currently caller number eleven in the queue".....

In other news, I'm excited to finally be trying Driver Wood this Sunday!

      They're probably out making TikToks.

  17. Even the most tricked-out NGRS go for around £600 max second hand. Regardless of new cost, most people won't pay more than that, as that's around the mark they could get something nice and new with a warranty etc.
  18. In an age when most manufacturers are making it easier to adjust hop, GHK have found a way to make it harder 🤔
  19. What a beaut! 😍 Providing it's a chunk below what you have in it, I wouldn't worry about Mack's. Obviously not a huge market at that price though, so why not start there and see how you get on/feel.
  20. Unless their Mum threw it from a first floor window and they failed to catch it when they went out for some "plinking in the garden"
  21. I've said it before and will say it again, if it was literally only one upgrade I would get the wheel hop chamber. You don't need to faff around with I keys or sticking something through the top to try and guess how much hop. I wouldn't worry about the hammer until it breaks. Mine is holding up well so far.
  22. How about a single photo, with the gun in question on a duvet in a dingy room, taken by a camera with a dirty lens? That's usually the "I bought a BB gun off my mate" crowd.
  23. I quite regularly sell RIF's as "unskirmished", simply because that's accurate and emphasises that it hasn't been dragged around a woodland 100's of times with 10's of thousand rounds through it. Of course I wouldn't claim "brand new" In regards to "slight marks from testing".....have you ever had a buyer try to claim from you for a micro-blemish? Again, providing it's reasonably accurate I have no issues with sellers protecting themselves.
