  1. So expensive that Airsoft Mike will actually need to pay for it.
  2. Goggles under. 1) Helps ensure full seal around the eyes, which is the priority. 2) Throughout the day you may (when you feel it's safe to do so), want to drop your lower protection and have a wipe and few proper breaths etc. May be TMI but you'll find moisture builds up when you're running around, especially if you're panting like a dog!
  3. I would say there are more people not using anything, than using mouthguards. I would also say there is a science behind it, as boxers and MMA fighters also only use upper mouthguards.
  4. Same site, this looks a bit dodge...https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/wanted-novritsch-ssr15-new-or-used_i26291 "I am looking to buy a Novritsch SSR15 from someone either if you've used it or I'm happy if you buy it from novritch brand new and ship it to me (I will pay extra for that of course"
  5. Your custom/upgraded pistol isn't worth nearly as much as you think...

@MistakenMexican - I know this more than most. I often see people trying to sell custom Hi Capa's for £500 or more and think "if I was going to sink that much in to one, I'd just go to Mike Cripps"....for all I know a private seller has built one through trial and error and not feeling 100% warm and toasty about the end result.

Indeed, I've had to swallow a bit pill recently.

I've got a bunch of rare pistols that just wont sell for the 70% formula... and it's not because people don't want them or they don't work... it's because people don't have £400 lying around to buy a second hand pistol.

I always upgrade all my pistols to shoot as well as I can make them, but I tend to use them a lot because bolt actions and MEDs. It's totally worth it for me to spend £250 on a TM pistol with all the bells and whistles because I need it to perform.

So it's definitely worth a lot to me, however selling them second hand... I'd 100% agree. Having upgraded all my pistols, I know it really isn't that expensive to make them shoot well with all the things :P

  6. There are two versions, one with a metal slide and one with a polymer. The metal slide version can handle green gas or CO2, the polymer only green gas (and possibly lower powered in summer). I have the metal slide and my preference is to use CO2, as it's around the 330 - 340fps mark and very snappy. In answer to your question, yes the same gun can be run on either CO2 or green gas mags. I used mine on Saturday and spent all day just using CO2 (you should get 3-4 mags from one capsule), then at the end I ran through the green gas mag to lubricate the internals. I've had many pistols and this is one of my favourites. The only slight negatives being it's a bit underwhelming on green gas and the hop bucking is a special type, so you can only use a select few.
  7. They're all made my APS and likely very similar internally, so whichever you like the look of the most but none of them would be my first choice on any budget.
  8. Are you in the UK? With my M904 an M100 gives me around 340fps. At £4 + £1.50 postage from @ak2m4 it hardly seems worth messing around with cutting. https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/internal-parts/springs/zci-aeg-spring-m100
  9. It's asiaairsoft rebranded (you can see plenty of terrible reviews of them on the first page of Google). I used them quite extensively a few years back but it got to the point where they sent the wrong item pretty much every time and communication was so bad that I had to go to the trouble of opening a dispute and couriering the item back to them.
  10. I can apply just enough pressure on my speedloader to expell one BB at a time. That way I don't get gaps but funnily enough the only guns I had which were fussy when it came to that were the SSX23 and SSP1.
  11. Always from the bottom. I pull down from behind the follower, rather than on it as otherwise it can spring back up. One thing I love about my Umarex Glock 19X is the gap is wide enough to fit BB's in the whole way up.
  12. Sorry to hijack the thread but my 100% stock Specna Arms SA-E01 Edge 2.0, which I tried to skirmish for the first time at the weekend jams pretty much every shot. I'm even using the mid-caps which came with it. One of the few things I can do to an AEG is install a new hop unit, rubber and barrel so I swapped over the stock unit for a ZCI I had lying around and it's still happening. Could it be something inside the gearbox? If so, I'll just take it to a local tech.
  13. This, especially in and around London where land prices are at a premium. No matter how derelict, that disused factory etc will belong to someone and sneaking onto it to waive replica firearms around is a recipe for disaster.
  14. Hi there, essentially airsoft doesn't work that way here. All sites are run by a company who hold the correct insurance etc. You can of course form teams with your friends or find people who attend a site you're interested in going to online etc and arrange to meet up with them. Alternatively you can go by yourself and just start chatting to people when you get there. In regards to purchasing a non-two tone gun, you'll need to speak with your local site about UKARA (there are other insurances etc you can get but most people don't go that route). You'll likely need to rent for at least three games though.
  15. (97mm) ZCI or Marui inner barrel for my G19X? I already have both but the colour of the Marui barrel goes with the tan/bronze scheme better.

Sounds like you've answered your own question there...

  16. Grrr.....seller sent the wrong thread protector. Be honest, does this look awful?

Looks ok to me but even if it’s not to your taste that poncy looking red trigger distracts very nicely ! 🤣

      @Druid799 - I do like a flat trigger!

  17. So this is what about £600 in a Glock build gets you. Which I don't feel great about but hey, kinda past the point of no return, so just gonna have fun with it.

The slide is super light and well done overall. I've still got a small trigger niggle but looking pretty good so far....

Very slick. If I can get my hands on a second hand TM G19, I'll probably build something similar.

@Cr0-Magnonby kit I meant the slide kit :)

  18. As I say, can't be trusted. Should only be for one on one situations when you've absolutely got the drop on someone.
  19. Agree, airsofters can't be trusted to use surrender/bang. Besides there are too many variables....I witnessed someone with a broken gun run into a room quickly repeating "bang". He was shot by the time the second word came out of his mouth, yet claimed it didn't count as he'd already banged everyone, if you'll pardon the expression.
  20. I never really got along with a flat hop when I used one in my Scorpion Evo. The trajectory thing sounds the same, it kinda "lobbed" the BB's, with a high arch pattern and sharp drop (kinda like a subtle mortar!) I would say go 60 degree maple leaf 2021 silicone and omega nub.
  21. I've used these on WE G series mags in the past. Couldn't really give feedback on performance improvement etc though. https://www.bullseyecountrysport.co.uk/poseidon-turbo-valve-shims-red-for-gbb-magazine-output-valves-pi-002-green-gas-29076-p.asp
  22. Not sure about this compensator. It does actually help stable the gun but makes adjusting hop more awkward. Opinions?

it does look hella sexy though!!!

  23. Generally 60% of what you paid. You might want to pick up a replacement stock catch as they are cheap enough and a doddle to fit. That way you can sell the gun as 100% working rather than "just needs this sorting"
  24. I was booked on for the second game back at my local (10th April). They've just confirmed that it has now been clarified classed as a "visitor economy" business rather than "outdoor sport", so being pushed back two weeks.

This is the metal slide version, so is fully compatible with the Co2 mag provided. As per title it hasn't been skirmished but has been holstered a few times and had a few mags through it, therfore minor marking/wear possible, most notibly on the outer barrel where it meets the slide (as pictured). It's got a nice light trigger and heavy recoil. It came with the green gas mag and I bought the Co2 for winter use, making it a versatile sidearm. When I chronoed at home using the latter, it was right up on the 350fps mark, dropping to around 330fps after the first few shots. However due to variances in chrono's and how gas guns perform, I can't make any guarantees on that front. Overall I like this sidearm, it's solid and realistic without being too heavy. The included Amomax holster is specifically designed for this RIF, so it doesnt move around as you run and being active retention a quick push of the button as you draw offers a quick and reliable release. Only selling to help fund another Glock build. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage via tracked courier service. Any questions are usually answered quickly but please PM as I don't get notifications of anything asked on the advert.
