      @ak2m4 - Yeah, also 6 orders from you for ZCI bits haha. Annoyingly I seem to have lost the plastic chamber and only ordered spare parts for it from you. Although the stock ones on these are rotary anyway.

    "Patiently" waiting for the CYMA Platinum from the latest Negative Airsoft video to come back to me. With upgrades I'm in it for less than a stock Scorpion Evo and Luke assures me this is vastly superior!

      cant afford to pay a tech lol haha nah i like to try then if i cant ill look into a tech but so far its all pretty vasic stuff ive done shimming,changing a piston and dropping in a drop in mosfet lol just waiting on my new gears and motor to arrive :)

      Shame his video on my BOLT & ICS got corrupted as he said the ICS was a total bitch to work on and would've been a good vid...  You don't see many ICS guns on his channel.  Your CYMA does look the nuts mate.. :)   Will be sending him my Mk46 A&K at some point.

      @Monkman - That's true actually and I am curious about the split gearboxes. Nearly picked up one of their latest MP5's recently.

    This is where packages/bundles don't work unless you're throwing the extras in dirt cheap. Who wants or needs 8 x 500 round magazines!? So it's laughable to say these cost me £120, give me a bit less than that and they're yours!

    Yours looks like a solid piece, I like it. Yeah, he doesn't try upsell you on anything either - quite the opposite actually. Just a shame I won't be able to put it through its paces for a while.

    Not sure to be honest but it's not really that important. If you want to get a bit more out of the performance I recommend a ZCI 6.02mm, ZCI plastic hop chamber, 60 degree maple leaf and omega nub. Which would come to a total of about £30 on AK2M4 and will take you to a level that is ample for what most people would expect from one of these guns.

    Why do you think I ordered 2 x DE M904's + CYMA Platinum 097D (which Negative Airsoft is starting work on today and may well make a video on) back in December, when they first announced this.

    Yeah the "350" I've had from them dances around the 340 mark, so perfect for most of us.

    With a battery in, put it in safe and pull the trigger until you hear a long beep. This signifies that you have reset to factory settings, so you'll need to re-do trigger sensitivity etc too.

    It's the answer to the riddle: When's a sidearm, not a sidearm? Definitely a case of limited production and gimmick appeal leading to impulse purchases. Seems like the kinda thing that get's bought on a whim, then sold, bought on a whim then sold, rinse and repeat.

    It really depends what kind of a person you are. Sounds like you're not confident opening the gearbox but would you enjoy the challenge? I'm much the same but immediately regret trying to do any teching past changing a barrel and bucking. If you're like me, maybe be worth reaching out to a proper tech? If you're more adventurous, hopefully someone with more experience can guide you.

    Let's all just get along and take anything on here with a grain of salt, for mild amusement at best. One of the reasons I like airsoft is escapism from politics and stuff that actually matters and I've seen far to much of both on here recently.

    @Ujustgotsarged- The only one I've tried is the "DMAG M4/AR15 20/70rds Variable-Cap Magazine" I picked-up from Taiwangun but that's just for chrono and I haven't upgraded my motot etc.

    If you want something cheap and fun, you can do a lot worse than an ARP9 and drum mag!

    Yeah, either they're trying to get around ebays no RIF policy but intend to send the gun or they're trying to trick people in to buying an empty box. Either way you wouldn't be protected by ebay, should the seller not include the RIF.

    So disregard the above because I bought an M4 stock (M904E) as well. Also added a ZCI 229MM 6.02 barrel, 60 degree maple leaf, one of the @ak2m4 soft omega nubs and a ZCI CNC hop chamber...which took a it more tweaking than the plastic version but now feeds beautifully, giving a slight boost in fps and above average consistent chrono readings. That's all I'd recommend doing to these for anyone who's after a primary they can pick up for the price of a low end pistol and yet get decent in game results. In all honesty I felt a bit silly watching my friend have tons of fun and loads of kills with the £110 (OK plus like £40 in upgrades on top) gun he borrowed from me, while I was having serious issues with my £600 scorpion evo ?
