  1. I have decided to retire young.

    Thanks for the cheese.

    Catch ya's later.

  2. Is no one going to add that SSP1 mag? ?

Ye I had one of these. They were really cool. However, I saw pot metal seams on mine and was afraid it would crack if I accidentally dropped it.

@AK47frizzle - It definitely looks the part and this is the "Silo Spec" one with RA-Tech steel parts and TNT barrel & bucking, so shoots very well too. This won't get skirmished much, if at all as it weighs a ton, the mag is a bit of a pain to load and you need the worlds tiniest allen key to adjust hop. I agree the metal could be better but it feels amazing in the hand, I love the full travel slide and it's never splutters even in fairly cool weather.

Im thinking of getting the l6 version at some point and running it as a primary because it was pretty damn accurate with the fixed barrel when I still had it.

  3. For me there's also a point where extra mags can't be counted. One or two is nice but I'm not paying £10 - £15 a mag for the other twenty-three beaten-up ones you've accumulated over the years.
  4. I've just paid £1 for 2 x sample bags of these (0.28g & 0.32)!
  5. I guess the 'rona is to blame but just chased up where a RIF I'd bought was (I placed the order a month ago), only to be told it was on back-order and not with them yet. That's the third time in a row!

  6. I collect swollen ones ?
  7. Am I the only one who can't be arsed to sell batteries? I've got loads I don't use but it's too much hassle for £10 posted.
  8. Seems like overshooting is a bigger concern than the power we're shooting at. Again, etiquette isn't just about calling your hits. In fact going completely off-topic at some sites I've been to, the bigger issue has been people screaming "AAAARRRRE YOU GOING TO CALL THAT!?!?!??............OHHH COME ONNN!!!!" as the first BB is still flying through the air.
  9. Topless airsoft?
  10. A bit like "my 2003 Corsa is worth £4k because of the £3000 entertainment system"?
  11. Are people extra reluctant to call their hits?
  12. @Sitting Duck - I agree. To me full-auto is strictly for keeping rushing hordes back when they're 30 - 40 metres away and even then it's controlled bursts rather than spray n' pray.
  13. I tried to start this discussion on one of the Facebook groups a while back and the responses were "but to increase it would be illegal"...so to clarify this is of course hypothetical. What do you feel about the power limits where you are? I'm not talking about using our RIF's for home defence or anything silly like that but for skirmishing. If you could change them, would they be higher, lower or stay the same? For example do you fear someone shooting you up close with 350fps/1.14J or do you think with the all the gear most people wear and given that many of our skirmish sites are large woodland areas, we could actually do we increasing the power for more fluid game play/clear hit calling?
  14. My FDE Scorpion EVO is finally here and I've just bought a Pakse Sapper Handguard, retractable stock and red dot sight to dress it up.
  15. A Surefire X300 replica for my SSP1. Well I guess I can put it on any of my pistols with a rail but it looks like it was made for this one...
  16. Just started watching Inception. This is going to make me want a Beretta PX4 isn't it...

@EvilMonkee I used to own the "HK3" one, which was essentially We with trades. Typical WE, slide weighed a ton, it vented like crazy and the paint flaked off everytime you touched it.

My slide on my TM one cracked last year but that was after 5 or 6 years of being abused.  Managed to get a replacement slide and shes all up and running.

  17. Does anyone want to swap their £160 Umarex Glock 19X or unreleased Glock 45 for a third-hand £99 Army Armament?
  18. At my local site they occasionally have regular players act as Marshal's. One of them was telling someone he was born in 2006.
  19. That's more like it! Was there still a heavy upgrading culture or were most playing stock? I got confused by this when I first started! All my site told me was that the limit is 350fps....not mentioning with which weight. I mean it took about five seconds to explain that wasn't the case but still.
  20. Blimey, that's you when you started? You must be a real life Benjamin Button then....or typing from beyond the grave ? RPS and FPS..."My gun only shoots 335 - 340fps, anyone know how I can get it to 349.9?"
  21. At least you used a classic reference and didn't just parrot "OK Boomer"! Hey give it 30 years and people will be saying "During the Corona..."
  22. Basically I'm interested in hearing stories and seeing pictures from people who started playing 15-20 years ago or even further back. Nowadays we're swamped with Novritsh, clickbait videos, 60 rounds per second and "Gucci guns"....take us back to a simpler time!
  23. The best one like that I saw was someone who was running a spring shotgun in an wide open outdoor game. He'd been moaning all day about people not calling their hits, to prove his point he let off one shot roughly in the same direct as someone in a window of a building about 70 metres away before proclaiming "see what I mean! It's out of order!"....errr, yeah mate.
  24. Seems more likely he's tried to remove it with a pair of pliers and torn it up. Also I feel sorry for anyone who turns up to a game day with that sniper rifle and a bottle of 0.20g Bulldog BB's expecting to be the next "American Sniper" Only to reach out 20M on random flight paths whilst trying to make anything out in the shadows of the scope.
