Just remembered another pet peeve, you see an item new in the classifieds, so you start a pm stream: ME: Hey mate, if this is still available I'll take it please.... SELLER: Yeah, still here mate..... ME: Cool, send me your PayPal & I'll send it over....... Half hour later, your message has been read, the items marked as "sold" but no reply to your earlier pm. Hour or two later...... ME: Mate, still waiting on your paypal details ?......... 2 hours later you see your message has been read, but no reply ......... 24 hour later........... ME: Dude, what's occurring, are you selling this to me or what ? Hour later, your message has been read, still no reply...... 2 days later......... SELLER: Yeah, soz man, somebody messaged before you........ WTF, SO WHY DID YOU NOT SAY SOMEONE'S SAID THEY WANT IT, BUT IF IT FALLS THROUGH YOUR NEXT IN LINE ETC. & WTF IS THE GHOSTING ABOUT ? Definitely should be a reason for negative feedback, even if it's only to wake their ignorant dumb asses up ffs.4 points

Imagine this scenario, a member is fed up with the silly prices some people are asking, they know what shit costs & where to get it, but options for speaking your mind & calling them out are limited, theres only one solution, use an obscure af email address to create an account purely for the purpose of ripping the shit out of them.? Thank God nobody here would do that?4 points -

I've been telt off I have Naked SR25 with 4 mags for £100 more than you'd pay shipped with fees and taxes from Proact. Same here, around £100 more than you'd pay for the rifle and mags from Proact delivered with fees. Particularly funny the assertion that a tan VFC SCAR H is hard to come by. Apparently looking for VFCs in Gas Rifles is a cheat code to this thread...3 points -

Sold a rif once and the guy disassembled it, broke the gearbox, then claimed it arrived broken. Silly bugger had already sent a message confirming it worked on arrival though, but that was still three weeks in PayPal dispute. I think that's the only one that really ground my gears. Other than that there's some funny buggers out there. Shout out to Job Lot posters, always a Perfect Starter Kit. A pile of minging gear, no splits though you're getting that one pistol you might want bundled in with a load of Amazon special, child size, full Multicam Black kit. The worst photos of the worst piles of junk going. Collection only btw.3 points -

Morning! Take one £136 pistol + £40 for one extended seen as the other is goosed and you shouldn't be pricing for a magazine included with a RIF. So you're saving £16 buying second hand... Or pay £115 for it delivered from HK and £35 for an extendo. Does this need any elaboration?2 points -

Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Galvatron and one other reacted to Colin Allen for a topic
I cannot find the airsoft insurance details from when we had it for one off events, but it did not require us to chrono all guns, only those that had changes made to them since they were last checked. Neither did it state that they had to be checked by us. Regarding AP, chronos are available just outside the safe zone and players routinely use them; marshals then randomly check on the field. It is made very clear that anyone found with a hot gun will be sent home. When I first went there, this surprised me; however, having played there a lot, it is the only site where I have never come across complaints about players potentially having hot guns. There is something about the culture of the site, the way it is run and the attitude of the very large number of regular players that seems to prevent it being a problem. The other sites I play at chrono every gun; I do not feel any safer at them, probably less so.2 points -

This is why I take videos of RIFs I sell working before they go in their box as I also had one like that too. I sold some guy a working CYMA Mk12 SPR with videos of it cycling plus chrono results. I get a message a week or so later about how it doesn't actually work and he sent a video of him pulling the trigger and the gun just clicking but in the background, the full stock was laid on the table alongside an AEG spring plus a screwdriver. The guy buying it had been talking about putting a bigger spring it to bring it up to his sites DMR limits so I suspect he'd been tinkering, banged in a massive spring and broke something.2 points -

TM MP7 has a fair few wear parts that aren't listed in those upgrades either, (there's no aftermarket, and replacement parts are scarce). The stock rails, receiver, and fire control parts are generally prone to breaking after a while and can be annoying to procure. If any of them goes, the gun is Boneyard for parts only. "High RoF" build just says wear acceleration to me tbh.2 points -

Comms espionage
ruskitseller and one other reacted to Tackle for a topic
I look at it the other way, milsim is meant to be based on warfare irl, & breaking in to your enemies comms is a very real thing irl. But, as you've said, most airsofters use comms for banter & piss taking, very little professional use, bit like knobs with taclights at night games, they usually do more harm than good to their own team?/?2 points -

Feedback time on LCT

Supply is the main issue, there is lots of stuff I would like to buy especially some of the older models like the SR3M but its always out of stock. I know that production runs are limited but some indication of when things might be available again would be nice.1 point -
Are LCT going to bring back the AEG conversion kits and will they increase distribution of their external and internal parts to more shops in particularly here in the UK. so we can avoid going thought a distributor? I have been waiting for 2 months, 20 days for some parts for my lct pkp and I have to chase the distributor for updates. The box mag on the pkp need to be able to use the A&K/Raptor versions and not proprietary ( there a rumour that lct may do a pkm), £202.00 for lct pkp box mag that suffer from number of issue is ridiculous. A revamp of current modules to be more accurate to the weapons they are trying to replicate, RPK74 bipod springs to mind, as it meant to cant a number of degrees to allow for a 45rd mag to be inserted and not mono-pod went at rest. Would lct ever consider replicating combloc optic like the 1p29 scope?1 point

i believe she claimed to be Israeli or ran a IDF load out ? maybe 2008/2009 ish ? the question you have to ask is how many people are cheating the chrono at AP , the answer is we don't know because they don't check any weapons before first game , if one person gets hurt and they attempt to claim on the insurance that's like a default win, they have no defence to say they insured all air muskets where with in site and legal limits . when people talk about insurance going up this will be why .1 point -

I have two JG G3's (yeah, I know it's not the same but still) and they're plastic and pretty decent, I seem to recall that the JG MP5s have a weird lever that sticks up from the handguard to adjust the hop which has a habit of wandering in use.1 point

To be honest without knowing internals and the fact that the upgrades are that old you can’t remember what they are I’d say 75% of retail would be fair maybe a little extra as a bundle with scope mags etc from there can lower as you please until get a sale hope this helps1 point
-
Do you mean an indoor shooting range or indoor site? Are you looking around Hants/Dorset/Berks only or will you travel farther away? I would imagine sites permitting full auto indoors would be the exception rather than the general rule, except for private games, as you're usually going to have no MED rule indoors.1 point

The amusing thing about these types, is that they'd likely get decent prices from splitting the attachments from people that know no better, and then they could sell the rifle at a price where they'd actually get a bite1 point -
Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Colin Allen reacted to Rogerborg for a topic
This is how I think it should work - as long as there is a significant amount of in-game going on. And it's fine to profile: bolties, HPA, gas guns (later in the day, don't stop chronoing after the first game), "silenced" Mk23s being used up close, anything that screams "DMR" but is brrrting. Pre-game chrono is effectively voluntary. Even when sites check tags, even when they cut off the rainbow of historic ones, or clip the excess off at the first game, all they're checking is that the gun might have been OK 20 minutes ago, assuming the player told the truth about BB weight and didn't change the spring, gas mag, hop, or regulator. Heck, my G36C has a spring adjuster built in which (after a service and nailing the air seal) can push it to... well, let's say very close to 1.3J, with a few turns of an Allan key. Ultimately what really matters is what a gun is actually producing at the instant where it shoots some kid in their earball.1 point -
