  6. I went through a phase of buying boneyard TM Glocks off this forum, refurbishing them and selling them. i gave up after I bought one glock held together with super glue, and one that smelt like it had been soaked in toilet water. ? the state people leave their kit in boggles my mind.

  7. The harsh reality is that two-tone airsoft guns depreciate much worse than than their RIF equivalent when all else is equal since the market for two-tone is mostly those without a defence to buy a RIF. 60-70% of current retail (not what you paid) is your typical going rate for used RIFs in good cosmetic and functioning condition to nigh-on pristine and perfect functioning condition. Two-tone will often fall below 60% because you have a smaller market of people interested in buying them since most people with a valid defence to buy a RIF will buy a RIF over two-tone. As EDcase said, to make the most money is to sell separately but it takes more effort and it will take longer to shift all of it. If you want it gone quickly, a bundle with a few deal sweeteners such as mags, ammo, batteries, a case, etc. will be your best option but expect to take a bigger loss than selling separately. I know I'm twisting the knife in saying this but G&G's GC16 and CM16 series with ETUs/MOSFETs are among the worst airsoft guns to sell & resell because they're not price-competitive any more. You can get M4 derivative guns from Double Eagle and Specna Arms with integrated ETUs/MOSFETs that have more programmable features at a price that undercuts G&G's offerings massively.

  8. Generally its better to sell everything separately but of course its more work to take pics. You'll probably have more luck selling here as its more busy. Make sure to put things in the correct category and don't forget to include a paper with your forum name and date. EDIT: I see you listed it already but you did not include the paper with name and date. Best to add a pic with that so it doesn't get deleted. Good luck ?

    FAO Precinct 13

Not sure about others, but what I personally see is that the smaller the indoor site the higher number of PPPs (Proton Pack Players) you'll get. Precinct 13 is pretty tiny, when I went they said they limit to about 16 max and even that is too much and it gets stalemate'y. Which I could fully believe because there's only a single lane you can move down, you can't get through between the shops in the backs, only via the main concourse. They've put in about as many wooden structures as they can which makes it viable and overall not bad with small enough numbers but I'm not sure I'd go on a Friday night/weekend.

I agree that the owner is partially to blame for agreeing to it, but the site owner is more of an idiot for offering such a dumb solution and even more so for not accepting any responsibility for his "fix" fucking up the gun. I can't help wonder if he runs the site with such a cavalier attitude. Definitely a reason to avoid then

Unfortunately, he is to blame as well for going ahead with it and not knowing his own hardware. The owner had allegedly sunk a grand into his gun and tech work without learning so much as it having a QCS. The hole was drilled into the nozzle and it brought the gun down within the limit but the owner found that not only did his gun not fire inaccurately, swarf from driling the nozzle got into the gearbox so you can imagine the number that did. FAO's manager tried to downplay it saying he explained the purpose of drilling the hole and that the owner consented to it. He did compensate the owner for the cost of repairing his P90. No, I'm not that owner. I did all my own tech work on mine without a drill. ?

  18. It’s really not as much as you think. with a gas rifle you tend to pick your shots much better & don’t just start blasting everything ( or at least everyone I know does) I have a MWS with 5 mags & also done the mag mod so they hold way more gas now. a can of gas usually lasts me two full days that’s with picking my shots though you can also use propane gas buying a large canister that you run a BBQ off then fill up a smaller size bottle (to fill off the big one ) then fill your mags from it. The initial outlay for the large one is a lot but the saving are massive over the long run

  24. Absolutely agree I’ve got a little bit of ocd with my kit, but enjoy the clean up a day or so after a skirmish. My mate on the other hand, just chucks his in the cupboard under the stairs afterwards and wonders how things end up fcukered for his next game day His best yet was snapping the receiver on his APS Cam 870 But I do steer clear of anything that has grime showing in the classifieds listings Even folks grotty bedrooms in the background deter me from looking at it any further. There was a GHK AK listed a while ago, at a sensible price I think from memory, it was photo’d next to his undercrackers and wank mop pile! C’MON MAAAN!! ?

    Gun picture thread

Finally got a stock alert on a nice hi-capa outer barrel in the colour I wanted, so I jumped on that. Lucky I did, because I got the last 11mm to 14mm suppressor adapter in black! Hi-capa is basically complete now, because while I have an RMR mount for it, I found that the RMR sights were impossible to adjust low enough, so the fiber sights will do. Ready for some sneaky sneaky, however it's still somewhat noisy because it's a snappy GBB pistol with a metal slide. But it feels delightful to shoot, and it's a replica of a suppressed .45 so it tickles my immersion nerd / filmsimmer side. Easily my favoured pistol now and will for sure see use because I almost always have an MED. Been a long time advocate of GBBs as sniper sidearms.

  28. So a quick & dirty report now my 3.5" is here, thanks to Red Wolf. The bad - no manual or hop adjustment key. No markings, unless you have them done yourself. My local guy is primed .... The good - everything else! Hop is a bit fiddly to set - clockwise for more, anti-clockwise for less. *EDIT****** Chrono'd again with my Acetech 6000 Mkiii - I thought the values were way too high. Its absolutely beautiful - from the grips (unstained in my case - which is fine, I'm looking forward to working some bees wax into her), to the spinning chamber action (no other revolver really touches this) is stunning. Trigger pull I can't give you figures on but having shot a lot of real steel (pre-ban in the UK) it feels right. Very smooth, very smooth indeed. Its loud - anecdotely similar to the wingun. The shells make a lovely sound if you slot them in one by one into the chamber. Consitency is way and above wingun - see FPS below as a result I would happily take and get a body shot at 30m, maybe 40m. I need to test her in the field really Looks like that new shell design has paid off. Shells are lovely (R-P 357 Magnum - "Remington-Peters" 357 Magnum). I haven't tried the moonclips - I'm running her with HKS 586-A speedloadeers on my belt as a secondary sidearm loadout. Love the way they resemble a copper plate bullet. The shells fit in a wingun speedloader but .... you end up with some shells in your chamber/some not. I could play around with them and work out how to get everything lined up ... but why dress lamb as mutton? Fits my 686 leather holster with thumb snap for the hammer perfectly. Hops .3s with no problem - I think you could go heavier but I don't see any advantage as 0.3 means I use the same weight in all my sidearms. For my use, I think the 3.5" is a perfect balance between portability, weight & accuracy. I'd love to see what the 5/6" versions are like (possibly with a different finish although the silver is really special) & the other grip options. The longer barreled models are going to be (legal!) hand cannons I think. Quite excited by the prospect! Very happy with her - I'd say this is by far & away the best revolver I've used in a long line from Tanaka, Marushin & Wingun. Shells are a must for me - you really cannot beat the feel & buzz of using them in combat. Hopwise this is best I've seen, closely followed by the old 8mm Marushin, Tanaka SAA adjustable then coming a fair way behind, Wingun. Further behind still, Tanaka fixed. So 6 shots, .3 ASG Blaster Devil BBs, 19°C, slow count of 5 between shots. 1: 227 2: 235 3: 229 4: 230 5: 231 6: 233 Average = 230 which is 282 FPS with 0.2 equivalent. So sight legal & really consistent Some rubbish camera phone pictures attached, full review post skirmish day (or 2) to follow.

    FAO Precinct 13

On playing at Precinct 13, I've been of two minds of playing there. It's nothing to do with the "Drillgate" incident, I've seen a load of YouTube videos with a lack of tactical skill or planning being "made up for" by trigger spamming that may as well be full auto as well as pre-emptive firing. That's not for me.
