BUA - Bomb Up Airsoft, Warrington

Only bought a holo and magnifier from them. Great shop with lots to look at, friendly helpful staff, very impressive shop. You can just pick any rif up or pistol of the display walls to have a handle of without question. When I visited Patrol Base your not allowed to touch, signs everywhere stating this, ask a member of staff for assistance. That's shit really, you want to grab a gun off the wall and start playing with it when you're in the buying market, pressing the buttons and cocking it ?. 10 out of 10 BUA ? 7.5 out of 10 for Patrol Base , just because you can't fiddle.2 points -

@Galvatron but it’s the super rare “preditor” edition of the CM16 range. That *must* double its value right? still doesn’t get you to £850 second hand though ?2 points -
https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/cm16-preditor_i68609 "My weekend dream. I'm selling my gun for £850. It's got £400 of upgrades that I haven't bothered to specify and the base gun's not worth even close to £450 brand new at retail. I don't play any more since it was upgraded but I still think it's worth that much."2 points

Having a very stressful few weeks, health shit, family shit, it's all coming on top, so I figured out to de-stress I need to buy a new gat, ideally s/h as I squeak when I walk ?, but what to get ? Kinda like a g&g n23, it's different, slightly old skool with it's fixed carry handle, but I dont like it's internals being reliant on 11.1 lipos. Thought about something gas but if I'm honest I much prefer the simplicity of c02 capsules. Or maybe an electric shotgun, worth having ? Help guys ?1 point -
TM Electric Auto Loader
MistakenMexican reacted to TheFull9 for a topic
Couldn't see any other details out there, looks good though. The Odin sidewinder has been raved about for a long time and I do get why, but after dragging my heels and eventually picking one up a year or so ago I've never ended up actually using it, as quite often I'll head to a game with my TM EBBRs and pistols; haven't fancied the idea of having to build up a collection of adapters for the thing. Having one fast loader that's ready to go for most types of mags is very appealing, personally. Obviously there's the evike loader that came out not too long ago which is similar to the the above, probably decent, but for myself I've got more trust in a TM product vs whichever unknown chinese OEM evike use.1 point -
Gun Wall Version 1.0
GothicGhost reacted to seanieglasgow for a topic
Version 1.0 since getting back into the game Left Side:- TM MWS MK18 (ignore the lack of trigger guard new one on order ) Systema PTW MK18 Right Side:- Magpul PTS Masada TM NGRS MP5SD6 Tinkering with it constantly, not sure if I like the mag in look or not? Spacing is the most annoying part as I want to keep stocks at a comfortable shooting position but then OCD kicks in to the max! I think Masada needs to move more over to the right and then maybe MP5 down a line or two? Be gentle with feedback - I'm no Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen when it comes to design!1 point -

Nope. It's legal, but just a bit of hassle to be a registered player with the bureaucracy. A friend of mine will have to send my stuff when that's sorted. So for his benefit I want to keep it to a minimum. We are probably at least a year off of it though so ?1 point

I have always fancied an AA12 as well. But at the moment not in a position to grab after my recent splurge. That and I am supposed to keep RiFS to a bare minimum for my eventual move to Southern Europe.... We'll see!1 point

CO2 sucks ass and it's not economical. Not to mention 0 lubrication so your seals need extra attention. But I understand when 0 degree happens and you want to run your pistol without issues. Some pistols can take more abuse on that pressure than others. I can't comment on electric shotguns because I never had one and it's personal preference after all. But Marui Saiga 12k/SBS 100% worth the money. Or if you don't mind pump-action Breacher/KSG could be an alternative.1 point

I was thinking aa12 as well. In stock here for now: https://www.socomtactical.net/tokyo-marui-aa-12-electric-shotgun/ 3 individual adjustable hop ups IIRC.1 point

If you're squeaking I have 2 suggestions... A bolt action of your choice & budget so you can be sneaky, motionless & unsqueakish, or A big F/O support weapon that's so noisy your squeaks won't matter.1 point -

Scammers
MistakenMexican reacted to ruskitseller for a topic
I feel your pain, I know its restrictive mate, but I think I am only going to sell to people with feedback or at least 3 months on the forum with a decent posting history. There are so many about nowadays everywhere, and lets just say you are selling something cheap - even getting your personal data from a paypal transaction can be profitable from what I have read. As the mods have said - lean on them too. I have to say, the chaps have been providing an excellent service to us all in terms of the anti scammer work that is going on. Cheers1 point -

Hello! New to this forum but not to airsoft. First played 17 years ago and then regularly up until around 5 or 6 years ago. My youngest son has just got into it so I recently dusted off all the old kit. Fixed up my old CYMA M14 which is still reaching ridiculous ranges even with the loss of a few fps. That was a good purchase, I think I only paid about £90 for it back in the day! I've enjoyed the couple of games we've been to so far, I just don't move as fast as I used to. I look forward to participating in the forum.1 point -

Have been working on this for a few years now and still missing a few minor bits, but getting closer and closer to a screen accurate "TTI TR-1 Ultimate Ultralight AR-15" from JohnWick Chapter 2. Base gun is an MWS, the receiver and barrel set are from the old AG kit, internals are a bit of a mix, but everything else than can be RS is RS (Real-Steel). Only thing I cant bloody find is the throw-lever (ac20007) ? -1 point -

Finally got around to picking up the handguard extension for my SCAR-H DMR. After all the pain of fitting it, I'm not sure I prefer it over the shorter version I was rocking, simply for where the grip and Masterkey now sit (which are a bit too far forward). It's ironic because it was the PR I wanted originally but I couldn't find one at a decent price. Still, it gave me a chance to redress the cam on the rifle and take some shots along the way. Feeling much better now. ?1 point -
