Comparing using training plates (lets say for 6 hours a time, twice a month) to a career spent humping bergans or whatever isn't super relevant imo. Likewise joint problems are just really, really common across the general population anyway - about 30% of the population have some kind of musculoskeletal disorder. Furthermore for all the benefits of physical activity you do run the risk of injury, whether its your lower back from squatting or your knees from running. Training plates aren't for me but if they make skirmishing a bit more challenging and fun for someone then crack on - its not a h&s concern imo. If you use a gbbr and have a water bladder you are close to training plate weights anyway.3 points -

I've applied for the Royal Marines so I'm using them for training and airsoft alike ๐ And @TheFull9 I'm aware of the possibility of damaging knees etc. so I won't be running about for the full day with them but thanks for the 'concern' masked in smarmy sarcasm ๐3 points -

They're super fashionable right now (because of crossfit, whether airsofters know it or not) and people who've not served don't know the inevitability of the lower-body joints injuries they have coming their way.2 points

Now that is one tricked out hottie... ๐ I really like a distressed tan look, but I would always be reluctant to spray such a beautifully finished rifle.... Also is that a magpul Moe grip? ๐ค1 point

I did basically the same thing with one I had as a project , I used a motorcycle helmet visor cut to shape and then stuck adhesive Velcro around the catch , made a small panel out of shaped kydex to go over it and job done . Another thing you can do is drill a small hole horizontally through the top section where it hinges up and put an Allen key in it (a slightly larger one than the hole so itโs a tight fit and wonโt come out by accident) no way thatโs opening by accident! Ps you mite be hard pressed to get goggles underneath the visor , I have difficulty getting my normal glasses to sit comfortably and they have quite small frames as well .1 point

Yesterday my rail came in so my friend at Repairsoft helped me out with the install. I went with the Madbull noveske NSR 7" freefloat rail. We went to try the PTS ring and the rail but it left too much space between the reciever and the rail. the ring was needed though but it didn't fit the barrel nut, it got stuck in there actually. Jeff milled the smallest ring so it would fit all the way into the barrel nut. This also fixed the space between the reciever and the handrail. With the handrail in place it was time to get the barrels to length. I didn't get a new barrel and wanted to cut the original down. After putting it in the milling machine we saw that the outer barrel was conical which was a bit of a problem but we managed to get the job done pretty quickly. Then we cut off the inner barrel so it stuck out a little further than the outer barrel so it would be just in front of the LED in my tracer. After that the outer barrel needed just a little bit of paint and the job was done. Loving this CQB build, looking forward playing with it in the near future. Only thing i'm looking for now is a real steel skeletonized pistol grip. Also i would like my vortex +- 1 inch higher without making it too bulky, minimalism is key imo. if anyone has an idea for that please let me know! Hope you guys enjoy the build aswel.1 point

Just bought a Nissan Juke. Love it, but need to sell it or swap for a qashqai for the extra space.0 points
