Yup... Hooked.
crazy_lizard and one other reacted to Seany.exe for a topic
Hehe the old unwanted present gambit. Lets hope my gf doesn't get too hooked on getting shot(she cringes when i aim a nerf gun at her lol). Otherwise i'd have to buy twice the equipment2 points -
Reflex sights are red dots. They just allow a bit more of an open sight picture than a tube style red dot. Personally I would consider a tube type with a kill flash to prevent it getting shot out.1 point

Ah right, reading over, I realised I meant red dot not shot dot, I get mixed up as normally short dots are not short aha, but I meant red dots or reflex, but thanks anyways.1 point

Barrel Wise = TK twist barrel, PDI, Promethues Bucking/nub = Maple leaf bucking and arm or R-hop with flat nub. Use barrel spacers to make sure the inner doesn't move. Make sure the seals are good and have good consistency.1 point -

Forcecore by E&L, any good?
Happy reacted to Unrustle_Thine_Jimmies for a topic
They're tempting me too. This seems what E&L should have gone for during release, cornering Dboys and CYMA with better quality externals. Deffo on my next buy list.1 point -
It's a respro cycle mask. Made of neoprene so no, it won't save your teeth.1 point

Forcecore by E&L, any good?
beastmode reacted to Zak Da Mack for a topic
I've heard that they've got the exact same externals as E&L AKs and their gen 1 gearbox, bit the only difference is that they have a regular motor in it1 point -

Received mine yesterday. Feels solid will do a bit of a review once I have chance to Skirmish with it next week.1 point -
I'd have to go Warrior every time. Their kit is absolutely bullet proof. I use a WAS plate carrier, chest rig, pouches and belt in various load outs. For the money they cannot be beat.1 point

The Moment You Realise you Want to try Milsim
djben9 reacted to Okto Eight Milsim for a topic
Our sister company Gunman Airsoft runs milsim lite and intermediate level milsims at their sites in Eversley, Tuddenham and Norwich. The differences are subtle and some players use them as a work up to the more embedded Filmsim type weekend milsims that we run. In answer to your question, no you can just go alone if you wish and join a team. Few milsims operate a rank system; its a recipe for disaster and not needed.1 point -
Some advice on masks for people that wear glasses.
djben9 reacted to callumbagshaw for a topic
Amen to that brother, Compared to a lot of hobbies, even top-end airsoft gear is cheap. When you consider that you can spend > £1000 on a fishing rod/pole just to sit by a pond all day, I'd say the cost -> fun ratio is pretty decent in airsoft Also, airsoft seems to be one of those things where if you buy cheap, you buy twice - you're far better off in the long run getting the right gear as soon as you can and it will last you.1 point
