  2. The amp number is just a measure of capacity, more = more shots. The numbers that matter are your voltage and C (discharge) rating. Basically stick to 7.4 for most guns, you can't go wrong. A C rating around 20 is fine for pretty much everything, but small changes in the discharge rate don't make any big difference really. Long as you don't go too high, you'll be alright. Get this charger: http://www.componentshop.co.uk/quickshop/index/view/path/800ma-charger-for-2s-or-3s-7-4-11-1v-battery-packs-complete-with-mains-power-supply.html And a couple of these: http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-800mah-20c-continuous-discharge-airsoft-lipo-battery.html The batteries will fit in the buffer (stock) tube. That's the other good thing about LiPos, you don't need the extra storage space of a crane stock if you want to use a thinner stock. Going by the recommended battrey for the RIF on the zero-scum page it's a mini tamiya connector in the rifle, which would make sense as most AEGs use that connector. I don't recommend shopping there in future though, there's much better stores out there run by higher quality people who don't sell knock-off shit as the real deal/provide some of the worst customer service in the industry. They don't deserve your money.

In the process of modifying a CASV to fit my SCAR-L, which turned out to kind of be a bit of a pain in the ass. Still need to finish off a few bits and then spray it black to cover up the bits I had to slice up. Swapping out the birdcage with a battlecomp flashhider.

Better bet than the standard M4. Better internals. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-transform4-cxpuk1-ebb-aeg--new-low-price

  5. http://www.ur-tactical.com/ is the store front for the actual manufacturers of OPS stuff, I always go there if I want anything from their line-up. Depending on how much you actually order it can work out cheaper than Hueys after shipping and customs, but probably not if you just buy like 1 shirt or whatever. Obviously their stock and selection is pretty substantial.

I know a few people who have the polymer ICS M4's they are pretty solid and have taken plenty of abuse. The only thing you gain from the full metal one is aching arms.

  7. Krylon should be fine as long as the current finish is sound. If not, rub it down to bare metal then primer and matt black car paint from Halfords.

  9. Its always a handy thing to have mate but as you want decent eye pro to go over your glasses, buy that first To answer your original question, look on eBay for morale patches, ukmcpro or military1st

  10. Spend a little extra and go for a 7.4 lipo from component shop. Spend a touch more and buy 2. If your going to skirmish the RIF you will want the extra battery too. Nothing worse than a battery failing or running out of juice on a game day if you only have the one and no back up weapon I know your budget driven, we have all been there. But sometimes you just have to stump up the cash for this game!!.

  11. You can get bullet ants for around the same price on ebay, very comfortable to wear, reasonable airflow with foam removed. Never used v12's so can't compare but ants are very good for the money.

  12. Nah I want a gbb airsoft gun had all sorts of pellet pistols and rifles from co2 to pcp to ssp. I'm planning on skirmishing it too from time to time.. any way after alot of thought an research I've bought a marui m9a1 when to fore support in peterborough an had a look at a few.. the desert eagle is a beast haha bit big for skirmishing the usp's look good and the 1911's are nice but the m9 flicked every switch for me.. good looking practical and I must say I looked at a few different manufacturers and marui stood out for build quality and looks for me

  13. You could do a review on the shop, and the kit. Be interesting to know whether the clothing is quality and justifies the price. I notionally spent £500 on the website as I got carried away.

  15. +1 with trigger happy, i play at the mall, i would choose that over B51 any day, honestly. Your best bet would be to contact the airline you're travelling with and see their policy's & age restrictions for transporting RIF's via plane. If they dont allow it, get a train to london, and from london, get a train to reading!

  16. AEG wise - 3 no question on that one think its a 330 barrel length, front wired but solid handguard with a few mini rails to bolt on for grip etc removable front sight to leave clean top rail for scope if you so wish I'd buy another black one as its metal and make a full metal CM18 or some other project but I am trying to cut down CM18 is nice too but the mid cap mag is crap plus don't like the CM18's stock flash hider G36 type with thread for quick fit silencer I changed my CM18's flash hider straight away and left mag in box - but 2-tone black/tan looks sexy the first 2 - hmmm not for me The BOT is still a polymer one with basic fet and over the £150 mark I think for a polymer gun SRL - not sure how good the idea of bespoke components are from newer G&G's arriving now I haven't bought any higher end G&G's so can't comment just how good value the more expensive guns are I can only comment on the cheaper starter guns as I have/had quite a few of them This is the area that G&G shift loads n loads n loads of them coz they are such good value alas many G&G CM starters are common as muck and everybody has one or owned/used one in the past DMR - can't help ya on that issue I like running around, sweating loads, and squealing like a girl as I shot to f*ck

  17. Folks ordering VHS tapes along with these NiMh batteries? Get on here http://www.componentshop.co.uk/ Get 7.4v LiPo or 9.9 LiFe (similar results generally), better in every way. Do not waste your money on heavy, bulky, over-priced obsolete batteries, totally pointless.

A good polymer gun is almost always stronger than a cheap metal one. That ICS should be fine though.
