Shot a mate in the knuckle in his first airsoft game this sat (was a bday party at ucap bunker) his knuckle looked quite sore and swollen. Tbh i was very well dug in with my cuz and we where defending in a hunt and kill game. I did tell them to go another route to try and help them but they didnt listen lol and all got hurt one way or another lol.

    SPEEDQB

So it's basically speedsoft. Accidentally came across videos of it on YT before, being played in the Phillipines, and there are a lot of cheaters and stupid stuff going on. Not to say the same would happen here though. Looks similar to Halo Mill in that's it's small and a purpose built arena style and you have the opportunity to be fast paced and use tactics like that. IMO it would be fun to play as a game mode but for me I'd rather just play ordinary airsoft and mix it up with elements of this. Judging by the popularity of Halo Mill (although of course I would say advertising has played a key factor in the business - seemingly they have attracted a lot more newer players as, amongst other things, the site is conveniently open on weekdays) it probably would take off. I think it would be popular with younger players too, again because of the availability when compared to traditional airsoft and people thinking they need a lot of gear to start off etc. Should mention I do prefer woodland skirmishes as opposed to indoor games at a place like Halo though.

  5. Strikeforce in Gloucester - probably a bit far for you, but a custom field in an old factory!

  6. Yeah there are so many different guns and gear and then places to buy them so read up on the guides. Wish I'd seen them when I was starting off, definitely help a lot.

  7. Since I am going to be rejoining the world of airsoft I am in the process of updating my loadout to suit both my tastes and my size (since I have grown a few inches wider in the last 2 years... On the bright side at the start of the year I was a 38-39 waist, and I have gotten it under control and back down to 36). On order are: RTC US M65 Style Combat Cargo Trousers - Multicam - £19.95 Generic Half Face Mesh Guard - £8 PJ Type Fast Helmet - £23.80 Smith Optics OTW Goggles Field Kit - About £30 (from USA) I am a little worried about the goggles as I do not want them to fog up, but I think I can modify them to get some decent airflow and get rid of the problem. I have yet to buy a Multicam UBACS. I also need to swap out my M1911 Serpa Holster for a PX4 holster. And I would also like another primary, maybe a M416. But these are for later down the line. EDIT: I have changed my mind about the primary. I have fallen in love with the TM Scar-L EBBR... It's so beautiful and sounds like a badass.

  8. Yea... I've looked at it in pics more closely and AFAIK there are no Glock trades on it. So hopefully it all will be OK.

  18. depends how well your site owner has read the fine print. Most haven't read it at all and are of the "3 games, 2 months, hulk smash" mindset. UKARA is just putting your site membership number on the database, so playing one game is sufficient if your site owner thinks that he's willing to take you on as a member after that. My local have separate games for under 18s and they record attendance, a couple of those lads have turned 18 and got their membership immediately because the site owner KNOWS they've played enough to qualify and they'll continue to do so.
