Contrast that sterling effort from Mr Chewer with me rocking up at Special Ops with one of those big blue plastic Ikea bags with three or four guns poking out, and a rucksack full of mags 'n' shit ;D

I'm a little disappointed that the rifle doesn't say "Vera" on it anywhere.

Just to add I am sat wearing this sweatshirt...

Vera is having her makeup done. I felt that putting Vera on her might be a bit on the nose so I was actually considering putting Blue Sun on it, funnily enough!

Far from finished.

Mrs Borg knitted the bonnet. The patch was eBayed and cap-riveted onto my regular summer riding jacket for peak used-future aesthetics - the colours match up pretty well.

My purchase of the famous Austrians Plate Carrier presented me with a slight problem. MK5 Thunderflash don’t easily fit in the fancy laser cut MOLLE (although Mk4 Osprey pouches fit like a glove!!) so I had to come up with a solution.

I jumped into Fusion 360 and designed a holder for 4 thunder flashes and can be Velcro attached to where ever there is spare Velcro on the PC. 3D printed in black and then tensioned with shock cord. Very pleased with my invention (although I did get the original idea from a post on this very forum, sorry can’t find the original poster, thanks for the idea anyway).

I can’t stop making stuff!!!

My first ever Airsoft rifle was a second hand G36 which came with an underslung grande launcher and 4 40mm Grenades (the sort that shoot a load of BBs and a rubber bung). This has been sat in a cupboard for years so I decided to try to make use of it. As I don’t use the G36 anymore, I wanted to make it stand alone.

I stripped the hand guard off the launcher and designed a top to it that will hold the now detached aiming thingy (what ever they are called). 3d printed it out and now I have a grenade launcher that looks similar to a M320 minus the stock and fore grip.

My Cyma M052, modified to fit tag shells, and now given a facelift.

The paint job has been on it since just after I bought it. Last week I made a wood grip from scratch.

ConsideringI've not done woodwork since school in pretty pleased with how it's turned out.

Out of interest what did you need to modify to get it to fire tag shells?

A file or a Dremel. That's all.

Inside the main chamber there's a lip. This lip prevents moscarts from falling out of the barrel.

If you file down the lip tag shells will fit in nice and snug. Of course this means that if you try and use moscarts again they may fall out, so useless for them.

Make sure you grind it off evenly, so the tag shell sits centralised in the chamber.

Been using it for about a year with this modification and it works perfectly.

Hmm seems odd, only ask as I got an m052 last year and I've been shooting tags from it fine without any issues and didn't need to modify anything. Wounder if there was a change in design since.

Must have been. My friend just bought one and I had to file his too.

Maybe they changed it as they realised people want to use tags in them.

So, as can be seen in THIS POST, I bought a crappy cheap mandible for my helmet.

It did not go well.

However, I was able to salvage the arms that attached the mandible to the helmet rail, and I had an old mask that I've never used knocking around.

Some measuring, fiberglass paste, sanding, more measuring, drilling and finally painting.....
