  1. It's a stupid idea and here are the Two main reasons: If you are to fly a drone above an active field of playing air softers it will become compulsory to wear a helmet, and not a Chinese cool looking fast replica, no they will be outlawed, it will have to be a CE or BS certified builders helmet, designed for falling impacts. Most current applications of drones are in limited access areas where this consideration isn't as prevalent, I personally wouldn't play a game knowing some 12yo with more money than skill is piloting a lump of plastic 30m above me, and I wouldn't play in a builders lid, so would boycot the site and their big investment. Second is to build a drone robust enough to be shot at won't be cheap, a cheap polystyrene drone will die after a hail of bbs. Airsofters as a general rule; are dickheads, they WILL shoot it. The fact it brings no sinificant advantage to a game over the gimmick factor makes the price of a decent drone prohibitive. The only useful drone in air soft is for photography and posing IMO.
  2. GHK G5 4 mags D3 clone rig Glock 3 glock mags TRMR Face pro Big tub of propane Dump pouch 2000 bbs There is room for a light set of waterproofs, tools, some lunch and a packet of fags. What more could you possibly need? All packed into a 25l rucksack
  3. Ece 22.05 standard and spec are available online if you want the definitive answers.
  4. *Big bag, little gun. *Travel light, leave the spare eye pro, leave the 5 layers, take only as many bbs as you need, *travel in your gear with riding kit over it. *Simple chest rig or belt kit. Don't bother with the plate carrier, helmet and kitchen sink. *Travel to sites that provides drinks better still lunch. I have ridden and it's not too bad, just have to be slick and light. If your m4 doesn't fit in a rucksack, split the receiver into two halfs and even a 16" m4 should squeeze in a rucksack.
  5. I use the cheap Chinese holsters, chuck it in a hot oven for 5-10min then dunk the holster in it, it moulds almost perfectly, and the retention still works. I also have a G21 + torch Fobus, which fits perfectly but has marred up the metal slide. Apparently the Neuprol ones should fit, considering they are made by we.
  6. I love my tactical tailor belt, it's only two layers of Molle instead of the standard 3 so nice and slim, agile and light. It also fits perfectly under the belt flaps of my ex issue pants so it stays low and solid. Less than £30 too iirc.
  7. It would be nice for you to contribute, to the forum rather than just constantly spam your own content.
  8. Which is true in real life, but i don't think it is necessarily true to airsoft so much. Range is mostly affected by FPS and hop up, barrel length is a minor factor. Two guns with identical FPS, but different length barrels will mostly shoot the same ranges. You do not need an 8" gun in CQB any more than you need an 14" gun in woodlands, I have ran my 18" Mk12 indoor cqb and its great, i have ran my 8" G5 outdoors and its great. The size of the gun dictates your tactics, not its range, yes its easier with a short gun, but a carbine is also perfectly suitable for both indoors and outdoors.
  9. What do you stand to gain? You lose all the advantages of a HPA gun, but with the expense of owning and filling a HPA bottle vs £10 of Colemans.
  10. You won't fine one without buying a very expensive aftermrket job or having to buy a whole new gun. You could make a whole new one, be creative and unique, see airsoft heretics on Facebook for inspiration!
  11. http://airsoftpro.cz/eshop/index.php?cPath=93&osCsid=sc3tgipji4ev9of70hu39vpci2 If they haven't got it, ASPUK won't be getting it anytime soon.
  12. Are vsr piston rings and AEG piston rings the same size? After stripping cleaning living with silicon, and changing the piston ring for a new one I'm now getting only 310 on .25 down from 370 with the old leaking piston ring. It's also really tough to push back into battery, much tougher than cocking, like it's jamming on something. Spoon, why? What's wrong with the standard chamber? Surely it's the arm that does the hard work?
  13. How ironic, I'm reading this while taking a schitt. True story!
  14. Thanks for taking the time to write that, it is appreciated. 1) I was using lithium molly grease. The site I play is very sandy and i think i got some sand in the action that caused the wear. Is silicon oil tough enough to last a day of several cycles? 7) what mods do they make to the arm or is it a straight replacement? Also what spring is roughly rated for 500fps? the standard is 400, but i don't know what strength that is.
  15. PUSH UP! How about you come up to the front and push up d*ckhead!, we are not moving because we are pinned into an ambush you led us into!

I like leading charges but normally you turn around and everyone is still where they stood :(

  16. [Caveat] It's a JG Bar 10, but i know the TM snobs would look past the post Should I be lubricating the external of the cylinder/bolt, there is a fair amount of wear through the pseudo-chrome down to the copper already <1000 rounds, the two plastic guide rings should still be in place. What do i need to lubricate inside the cylinder? What does the spring guide do? obviously it stops lateral movement around the cylinder, but does it have any other function, the piston catches on the sears right? What is a zero trigger and why is that a good thing? Is it possible to get perfect compression? if I draw the piston back and let it home with the head blocked it doesn't slam, but does slide home fairly slowly. in an AEG I expect perfect compression, but we are dealing with a much stronger spring. i think the leak is in the piston, so is it worth chasing perfection? I'm getting good 450fps which I'm happy with. I see stock filling, why? just seems a mess! I once found a good diy hop arm tune up guide, now I can't, is it dementia? Much love, here is a cookie: NOTE: Please don't view the cookie unless you have contributed to the thread, the cookie is not for you!
  17. If contacts are not an option, then v12s with prescription inserts are a good plan, but the standard rental goggles should be fine with specs, I should be at Bravo this weekend too, so may see you there.
  18. Can you guarantee fair trade free range bbs and if possible can you offer gluten free?
  19. Don't be silly, nobody who plays airsoft has a real social life, if we did we wouldn't be playing dress up with toy guns.
  20. There are loads of dash animations out there showing this. Or is flash too old fashioned now? [edit]
  21. Is it any good? its a big chunk of metal, does it hold well?
  22. yes, as simple as that. three holes in an offset cam shape, load three .209 in chuck it - bang, and twist to the next. no repriming, no pins, just a twist, its nice and big and knurled so can be done with gloves on.
  23. TRMR every day, just a better piece of kit imo, better made, better to use and more reliable. However I went for the triple .209 base rather than the x4. i cannot see why i would ever need to have three bases i cant use? it doesnt make sense? why would i want to swap and change munitions? especially when its rare any site allow 12g. A bang is a bang and even a .209 is a big bang and enough to catch them off guard and let the enemy know they are dead.
