  1. Your over thinking it, just get one and use it. Its not rocket science
  2. I don't understand the situation where anyone would want to hand their gun to anyone else, what better things have you to be doing? And why is a sling not sufficient?
  3. It's easy to make one, generic m4, 13inch NSR keymod, painted barrel and a crane stock with a suppressor and mbus, can turn any m4 into that for £70 maybe less.
  4. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Swiss-Arms-100cm-Black-TACTICAL-RIFLE-CASE-Air-Gun-Airsoft-Soft-Air-Mat-Slip-Bag-/231266740293?nav=SEARCH Would be getting my money. I have two generic Chinese £16 jobbies that have held up very well over the last year with regular use. I unpicked all the garish pockets and it looks quite subtle. I personally wouldn't spend £50 on anything viper, let alone a gun bag. Apparently the SRC Hard cases are pretty robust for casual airsoft use. Millspec solutions had them fairly cheep I think. Or Taiwan gun have them delivered about £40 iirc.
  5. I wish I had know how many absolute bell ends play airsoft. From simply double digit IQ morons right through to full on cockwombles. I started playing at halo mill and met a great bunch of lads, that I wish I had made more effort getting to know and kept in some sort of touch with. now I just seem to meet people I wouldn't piss on. Maybe it's a me problem, maybe I need to change sites.
  6. Depends on which gun you want and how many mags you need. GHK g5 is £270, so same as any half decent AEG, but mags are £50 a pop and only hold 30 rounds and weigh a tonne. They can be cheaper if imported from overseas.
  7. I could have sworn somebody already posted this, video here, obviously not. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VnTGEEVzax4
  8. I think you are overthinking it a little. If it's raining hard enough to interfere with the workings of an AEG, Then everyone without mesh goggles will most likely be fogged up and in the safe zone having a brew, and those three that are left out will be fed up of having wet socks after an hour or two.
  9. Pressure isn't the issue, expansion is the issue, pressure is your only reliable measurable quantity that would calculate the mass of propane to safely be decanted into a can. You cannot 100% fill a colemans bottle as it needs expansion space. See the combined gas law to understand the relationships. This is also why GHK recommend you only fill for 6 seconds. That Relief valve is designed to be bespoke to colemans specific mass of gas and is designed to vent as their ceiling is broken, but it's only an emergency vent for high pressure, it's not for regulating safe internal pressures. If that vent goes you are filling the atmosphere with oxidised propane, which is the dangerous bit. Liquid propane is safe as demonstrated in the videos, it's expanded vaporised propane that's the dangerous part. That's why LPG cars are safe, they have the failsafes built into the pump and tanks, they are not simply metal receivers. Pistol and m4 mags use such a small amount of propane it's negligible, 3g max in most instances, and it's burn off time is sub half a second, so any ignition is very short lived. But we are talking much much greater masses and volumes of vaporisation in a 400g colemans tin. For the sake of £8.
  10. I wrote a spiel here: http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/25995-carrying-gas-into-games Believe it, or don't, if you don't understand the relevance of pressure in gas transfer I'm not going to sit here arguing about it.
  11. Don't do it it's incredibly dangerous, unsafe and potentially illegal. There is no way to regulate the pressure, there is no way to monitor moisture and there is no way to mitigate or manage the transfer from liquid to gas. Liquid Propane expands at 240 times in atmospheric air, and is incredibly volatile. It can be done but has the potential to be catastrophic.
  12. Very cliche but ... Still pretty epic for a 320 year old score.
  13. They don't actually amplify the sound to be any louder but they do Change the tone to be a little deeper. Certainly noticeably.
  14. A cheap hollow silencer with removable ends also work and don't look silly.
  15. Are people aware that rank is not exclusive and unique to the British forces. Many not militant and paramilitary organisations use the same rank structure, it simply indicates a hierarchy. Now I'm not saying rigging up in full british uniform with an sa80 with TRF patches and rank isn't dodgy ground, but simply putting corporal Slides on a mtp shirt is a huge step away from stolen valour or Walting. As with anything in life the trick is to not be a dick with it, and nobody will really care, and if they do, it's none of their business.
  16. Sounds like a perfect excuse to buy a new loadout to me!
  17. I thought KWA fitted genuine holsters and it was only TM and clones that didn't? The TM fits the glock 21 + torch holster. The 19 needs about 8mm extra so won't remould but can be shimmed and re riveted. Cheap Chinese holsters can be remoulded. I put mine in a low oven for 10 min and then put the gun in and let it cool around it.
  18. Yes, a few times, it's usually pretty good.
  19. http://www.uktactical.com/p-10044-pentagon-k17051-mamba-gun-pouch-black.aspx They are supposed to be quite good.
